In this video I introduce my “brand new” 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Only 77 Miles!!! I had to fly down to Texas to get it but man… was she worth it! So stoked to have stumbled upon this gem. Still can’t believe it to be honest. This is my last chance to own a new one of these. Hoping to make this my longest ownership experience. I mean, it DOES have a third row! =]

It’s bigger than the gen three sequoia. Not the gen two.
@@americandude3825 I think the point was, they’re both 3 row SUVs with very little room for stuff with 3rd rows up. But he’s getting a van to handle family hauling duties. Still, could have kept the sequoia, and gotten the van, and saved some moulah.

On par with the Gen 3 sequoia. The Sienna or Odyssey will be the family rig here in a few weeks. I just wanted to get a V8 Land Cruiser while I still could… 👍
@@UntamedMotors I loved owning a 2022 sienna XLE AWD. Extremely amazing vehicle. Sold it bc I decided not to sell my 2008 sequoia 5.7L. 209900 miles. No issues! Don’t forget to check out the new Toyota grand highlander. Also the odysseys still have transmission issues. All the way back to 2012. They also still have….timing belts. ☠️
This LC is amazing, and I would have one if I could afford one and never sell it! It’s so well rounded. Lots of room, very capable off the pavement.

Great pickup Untamed. This is the real deal, keep this one. I've had my 21 Cruiser non-HE for 37k miles now and there isn't a creak or rattle to be had. I've never had the most minor of problems or hiccups. And for that growing family, this is a true 8 seater which is quite rare. And the 3rd row is quite functional when needed especially for kids. Great pickup, enjoy it

@@UntamedMotors we've owned our Landcruiser for 20 years; bought it new; and it served our family well. 74k miles; but, it's looks like new. Never had a mechanical issue. Love it!

Awesome rig! I’m originally from the San Antonio, TX so I know all those areas. Quiet ride from SA to Del Rio. Be safe on the road as it is a long drive. Love that Land cruiser. Glad you got what you love since you gave up your TRD Pro Tundra and Sequoia!

Great move! I love your content. I never really considered the GX 460 as we live hours away from a Lexus dealership and I told myself long ago that I'd never again purchase a vehicle that did not have a dealership nearby. Warranty nightmare from long ago. Well...I bought my wife a GX 460, Blackline Edition and will pick it up in 3-4 weeks. Lexus told me what I'd need to do in the unlikely event that there was a recall or warranty issue. Gotta have a V8!

Man, i'm in Dallas and Del Rio is a longggg way for me, lol. You do have a road trip to get home. Mrs Untamed is priceless to let you disappear for a couple of days. Take the continental divide trail home.

Love it! I went to the dealer on a Sunday to check out a black sequoia in 2021… seen this exact vehicle and fell in love I think it had a sticker of $89k+ at the time I couldn’t afford that type of price tag but I did end up calling in the next day and picking up a Trd pro sequoia they had..
Awesome man! The sequoia is a sweet alternative… gen 2s have more room too 👌 Same glorious v8 as well which is the most important thing!

I really wish you would consider keeping this one “forever”. I wish I had my shot at a new (late model) Land Cruiser 200 series with the 5.7L I know it’s hard to justify keeping it long term say, 10 years. Given it costs practically double that of a 4Runner TRD Pro. But we’ll see, maybe you’ll have a change of heart and mind going forward. You sir are lucky as heck… my 2022 Lime Rush pro is still going strong after 1 year and a couple weeks, 12,600 miles. I’ve done many OEM+ modifications to it. Incl. adding about 10-15 lbs of sound deadening with foam padding inside the door skins and door cards. As well as other easily accessible areas under the rear trunk floor panel above the exhaust and spare tire. And under the 2nd row seat carpet. Definitely quieted down the near deafening TRD exhaust😂 while adding the solidness to my poor man’s Land Cruiser. I’ve been needing to actually email/message you about a concern I have with the trans slipping or flaring a few hundred rpms when it up shifts from 4th (holding 3000rpms going up hill at speeds above 55mph) back to 5th/OD. You need to check out Tedwards recent Land Cruiser POV video. I think you’d like the modifications the owners of that one did. Specifically having the front chrome wrapped in satin bronze to match the wheels and the side window trim wrapped in gloss back and more chrome deleted. kzhead.info/sun/YNCpZJqKiZ-QaYU/bejne.html Anyways happy toyota-ing. Besides not having the captain chairs I’d be inclined to imagine the LC would fit your young family a little better, especially in the trunk area having the tailgate maybe you won’t have to worry about things falling out? My local dealer, Butler Toyota, has two black heritage editions that “aren’t for sale” they are new as well. They are on showroom floor and have been there for years.

Congrats! These are really cool.....but so much $$$. Are they really twice as good as a GX460 or 4runner TRD Pro for a year round daily? $110K is C8 Z06 money for a family hauler that will get beat up in the winter lol

I saw one listed at Langway Toyota of Newport in Middletown, Rhode Island . It is listed as new 2021, but did not have mileage listed. It is selling for $109,995 which includes a $2000 discount. Same color but doesn't have the roof basket.

Congrats of the unique find. Around $107K pre tax? One drawback to the LC for your kids is that the 2nd row is fixed and no captains chairs, so the 3rd row is more of a beast to access and less legroom potentially compared to say Lexus GX 460. Just aligning your expectations about the practicality of that 3rd row. Went through the same process when comparing the LC and GX 460. Ended up with the GX 460 with captain chairs, but still pretty tight even with 2nd row adjustments.
Thanks man! And congrats on your GX. I had a GX as a press vehicle before and they’re quite a bit more snug on the inside comparatively. The van will be our primary family hauler and this will serve as our “backup” haha

Haha yup! In 21 they offered a 3rd row option (not many have it)… in 20 they only had 2 rows.

Is this better to buy than the prado kakadu top of the range with all options? This one has a center diff while the prado comes with rear and center diff. Also the prado looks extremely good in red with chrome. ? Pricing would be similar since only way to buy ut is to import both of them?will the prado over lc200 make sense or just buy the lc200 in prado's budget

@@UntamedMotors no. Raised white letter belong on LC200. That’s what I have on mine taking inspiration from your original 200. Mine is white with bronze wheels and the bfg fits perfectly.

I own a 1999 Land Cruiser and named her ELSEE at 300,000 miles. She now has 481,000 miles and the head has not been off. These vehicles become part of the family. I love ELSEE. Everything works on her. I once drove her up 40 degrees with real estate developers. The head group was in a ford bronco modified for off road. I cruised behind them when the bronco was bouncing around. The head engineer that was in my car, went out the next weekend and bought a land cruiser. He couldn't believe how easy it was to climb straight up. My guess is $105,000.

I owned a 21 lc 200 that I regret selling for a 22 lc 300 ! what's better than a 200 i thought, a 300 right ? WRONG ! not even half as well built, bullet proof tank spec as the 200 sorry to say >from experience. So I sold the 300 for one of the last brand new 200s 😅 She's a keeper for sure. Congrats 👍

Last I checked you sold your last 2 vehicles in order to raise funds for a land deal and you were thinking about buying a GMC Tohoe so that you could be in a better place as it relates to your growing family and to reduce financial obligations for the land opportunity? Now we are in Mexico purchasing a 100k 2021 Toyota Land Crusier? I am trying to follow but I know I am missing something brother?
Still buying land. We will have 2 vehicles -the LC and van (Sienna) for the Mrs. I’m selling the 4Runner too. The Sienna is still cheaper than the used Suburban or Yukon XL we wanted. The Tundra and Sequoia sale freed up nearly 170K alone.

I never saw that coming… said no one here. 😂 I’ve had my 2-row black ‘21 HE for just over two years now with only 11,650 miles on it, and it is my only vehicle. At nearly 70 years old, it will likely be my last, too, since I keep normal cars 8-12 years. It sounds like prices are a little more reasonable now, not in the $130-140k range. So glad I ordered mine before the craziness at $83k!
