I like Matchbox. Matchbox really cares about family cars from the 2000s and 2010s. Literally, the cars people think are ordinary are cared and loved by Matchbox, so Matchbox makes licensed cars out of these cars that people think are ordinary.

Yep, Matchbox takes a more realistic and mundane approach in making die-cast cars while Hot Wheels does a more radical and sportier side of it all, but both are good in their own niche and love collecting both, but wish Matchbox are more accessible in my area tbh, just like what they were back in the day tbh

Matchbox fits in their niche of customers and Hot Wheels fits in theirs, but both are good and love collecting them both, but wish Matchbox are more accessible in my area like they used to back in the day around 10 or 20 years ago tbh
I don't think Mattel would do that. They bought MAtchbox and don't want its popularity to exceed Hot Wheels. It's similar to how Adidas bought Reebok...Adidas won't let Reebok's popularity exceed their's.

As a kid in the 60’s, I was more fond of the Matchbox cars for their realism. The Hot Wheels were cool, but I liked making the roadways and such in the driveway with chalk, like a small town. My friends and I would play for hours.

Great cars but the greater is that mbx presents less fantasy models in comparison to hot wheels!
I don't know why Matchbox didn't re-issue or retro'ed the Roadblasters of the 80's instead of keeping back these model cars in different colorways every year?🤦!

The caddy and ranchero the only ones worth a crap. Done with all the EV crap cars. You can keep your "licensed" models, I will keep "real" cars from Hot Wheels done much better and without those lame a$$ wheels Matchbox uses.
