Building and testing diverse car stopping technologies aimed to stop fast-driving Lego vehicles. All experiments are conducted on a treadmill to simulate high-speed physics. As the video progresses, the task of stopping these speeding Lego cars becomes increasingly more challenging.
The vehicles featured in the video include a combination of official Lego sets and my own custom designs. The police car showcased is a modified iteration of the LEGO 42138 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500: amzn.to/3RR6VwK

I like the idea of the LEGO police making elaborate vehicle modifications to stop reckless drivers on a car-by-car basis.
i feel like the tire treadmill and that hook one would be a pretty good all round use case until you got to massive truck or dubiously acquired military vehicles
The one that binds up the tire is real, iydk
im imagininging a real car chase, Officers! it is a pickup! Any ideas on how to stop it? Pit manuver? Sounds good, u go try it. *watches news to c what happens, fails to flip it* Any other ideas?! Tangle the tires? sounds great, go try it. *watches news again, stops them*cheers** Good Jobs officers, less than 3 tries, we deserve some donuts!
the one that binds up the wheel with the rope is a real invention
I mean, it's all LEGO so it would word canonically.
Ah yes. A vehicle catapult and a vehicle crane assembly. Very common and functional police equipment.
Maybe in future it would be real 😉
We are on the future 😎 candice is a proof
Morrowind Guard Faction's finest.
Design is very human
@@Frostinmyguy My Friend who Doesn’t know the Joke : Who Is Candice? Me : *NO-*
I love how the techniques went from realistic, to Twisted Metal style weapon, and then finally just a big roaming crane
Wacky races, too?
the quality of this channel is honestly beyond impressive. It combines mechanical engineering, problem solving, legos, wacky silliness, and great editing into such an entertaining digestible package the viewer can easily understand all without any voiceover or talking. nothing like it out there.
one of the few truely great youtube channels out there. Best of the best along with channels like Lemmino
The lego police gotta take notes
Gotta tell the Fast n Furious franchise for how to steal their next vehicle.
The actual police is also taking some notes
A man has fallen into the river !
a tank is on a rampage in lego city! start the tank grabber. HEY!!! build the tank grabber.
@@blackkissi for real
I love the ever-escalating silliness of every subsequent contraption that was being strapped to the front of the patrol car until they eventually ended up becoming their own separate vehicles. Also this has really made me wanna buy some of the bigger Technic vehicles from the Speed Champions range...
yeah this is some acme shłt.....
Some of those contraptions are actually a real thing that cops use. Not in some certain states (easy to guess).
The tire grabber is something that the cops actually uses. I remember seeing a video about it somewhere
It would be funny if he just put the cop car body on top of the other builds like the crane
It's fascinating how creativity can take unexpected and humorous directions. Those bigger Technic vehicles from Speed Champions must be calling your name!
Now imagine being that trucker and seeing a squadron of cop cars rolling up behind you with all these Twisted Metal-esque contraptions strapped to their cars 😂
Minor note, for the controller L3 and R3 refer to the button action of clicking by pushing the stick into the controller. The proper way to refer to the axial stuff is RS and LS
I love this universe where high-speed tank chases are so common it demands the invention of large-scale tank-stopping measures
That's Lego for you
This is what the founders had in mind when they wrote the 2nd amendment.
Yessir I need it for hunting deer 😈

I love how this started as a police chase and ended as basically Mortal Engines.
Omg your right
We keep on getting bigger and bigger until the vehicles and it's chasers are the size of countries
4:00 Never did I think I’d see that Arizona invention make it into Lego form.
Every contraption in order of increasing absurdity 1:31 PIT maneuver VS hot rod 3:51 Tire trap VS Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4:45 Bumper hook VS NASCAR 5:41 Mine-layer thing VS ricer tow truck 7:18 Tyre launcher VS ricer tow truck but with a drunk driver 9:03 Catapult VS ricer tow truck with the same drunk driver 10:50 Stolen dry dock crane VS a tank (just use another tank at this point…)
Hands down my favorite Lego channel. The stop-motion building segments, the occasional background gags, and the downward spiral into mindblowing overengineering makes you incredibly entertaining to watch. Keep up the great work! Edit: 1000 Likes in 2 days?!
He truly deserves much more views

Can't agree more - Love the dry humor placed everywhere.
OUR FAVOURITE!
You said everything I wanted to say!
What I love about this channel is that you can feel that the person who makes this is having a lot of fun. Not just the construction of legos, but the editing of the video too !
7:30 irl the drive would be hurt because of the speed of the wheel on the impact
3:18 i like that the spare whele was turned😂😂😂
I think the Test Track is such a good toy idea. It wouldn't necessarily have to be lego. You could market it as a science kit or even as a hot wheels set. Sell the concept as being both educational about the road and engines, and as a way of playing racing games or like the chase game in this video.
Of course he had to build an entire complicated mechanism to automatically release the car and stop the treadmill. 😅
I'm still not quite sure how the colour sensor worked / what triggers it
@@TimInertiatic When the car on the string is stopped, it pulls back on the string with a lot more force (since the wheels aren't just going with the flow anymore).
best automotive action ive seen since mad max fury road
3:45 that is actually a real police invention
That tire treadmill is wicked, I can't even imagine the damage that could do on a highway.
Tyres which spin really fast are actually really really dangerous in real life; there is a video of a ‘wild’ tyre which got under a vehicle and caused the car to flip!
@@fahad_hassan_92I know a person who had their vehicle totalled (and were almost seriously injured) by a loose tire. People have been killed by them before.
@@Skrenja I hope they are okay.
@fahad_hassan_92 I had the spare tire come off the bottom of my truck while I was going down the driveway. It lifted the truck up before rolling past me and stopping in the middle if the road. I thought I had lost one of the other tires for a second lol. Also had to retrieve the tire which was the scariest part as it was in the dip of two hills that people regularly fly over.
@@fahad_hassan_92 meanwhile, some folks think that cars can just harmlessly punt them off the road
you know what would look awesome? if you had another treadmill on the wall behind on its side with a loop of a cityscape on it, running a bit slower to create a parallax effect
Pretty sure another treadmill would be overkill (not to say that overkill isn't that mans forté). One could build that out of Lego. I for my part like that he isn't trying for immersion. That way the creations themselves are in the spotlight and the feeling of madman building over engineered stuff in his living rooms is ever present.
you could probably gerry rig smth like that to the already existing treadmill
yeah man loads of way to do it@@naiknaik8812
11:14 damn, should be adapted into police cars
I am genuinely impressed by the level of engineering skills that went into this. Im always jealous of Technic building and wish i could do better engineering with it
4:08 Its same as the modern tech used by police to stop rogue cars Truly amazing! Hats off!
So maybe the police brakes must be very good to slow down the speed
The amount of creativity and engineering displayed here is unmatched! Not only did he design a well built police cruiser with countermeasures for different circumstances, but he also developed a system to cut the line and stop the treadmill with nothing but LEGO PARTS! Awesome!
Dude, that grappler/grabber build & functionality was so accurate to it's real couterpart. That was amazing!
5:03 Missed opportunity...... you could have made the truck lift up and tow the cop car away ^^
This episode has more suspense than most modern action and horror films!
next Truck! ...next TANK!!!
The catapult and wheel launcher are definitely the most chaotic and funny way to stop the fast vehicle
10:40 ah yes the kidnapping method
💀
Lego will NEVER get boring. Theres always something new and fun to do with it.
9:28 that escalated quickly😂
History repeating itself💀
I had the biggest grin on my face watching this unfold. Thank you so much for sharing this.
1:46 very realistic dunno how it passes regulations
THAT TANK MECHANIC WAS AWSME
I love how you actually used police technology, like the one for the yellow 4x4 is a new tech that cops are using to stop a car’s wheel
10:50 that's like something they'd rig up in Fast and Furious to steal an armored car
bro took himself out at 5:50 , also, not all cops have a tank-catcher. (but i guess not everyone is drivin a tank aroun XD)

Chuck in Vin Diesel growling "Family" and you've got the next Fast Movie... also the best in the series.
I love how the tank fights back and gets offended by the small one, it just destroyed it
Lol, a tank pursuit. Call in the container crane! Imagine being the guy that gets that call, " I've waited my whole life for this moment" 😎
Its funny how he makes clever mechanisms at first but then slowly he starts overengineering crazy monstrosities.
Superb everything as always. Love the technical solution to releasing the cars and stopping the treadmill. Loved seeing the tick of approval fly along the road, too.
this could easily become the standard for testing. lego is not only practical and efficient theyre also incredibly strong for what they are.
Anyone notice at 0:55 The sound effects when he was hitting the walls were the same sound as in Return Fire from the PS One when you chunked grenades? 😂And the sound of the motor in the car sounded a bit like the Jeep engine from the game also?
Sinking ships, high speed car chases. You'd think he's setting up to make a practical effects action Lego movie. Which sounds awesome now that I've typed it out.
You build a self-driving battle-simulator. I absolutely love it.
I love how he changes every tool to stop the cars
I'm having a ball watching how he tackles the next vehicle. "A TANK?!"
10:45 ah yes, how could we have forgotten about the Highspeed Mobile Crane Tank Recovery Vehicle or the HM-CTRV. Don't tell the Wrecker it'll get jealous.
Ah yes, the police gantry crane. Loved the video and the expansion from a basic concept to a full on really fun looking game was great
"Sir, there's a rogue tank on the highway!" "Scramble the pursuit crane"
I love how creative you were about stopping the cars.
When I saw last vehicle, my jaw dropped. I would never have thought that it was possible to stop this.
My man just casually made a working rc drift police car (cuz good stearin) where I couldn’t even figure out compression in a week, this guy is on another level!
Ok I gotta say it: This guy is frickin LEGO engineer. The best and only one
love the crane at the end
0:35 Even the rod insertion was done in multiple steps. Appreciated.
I absolutely adore how this video evolves from a simple police chase scenario, to Tom and Jerry style shenanigans with the wacky front car attachments, before entering Mad Max territory with the standard issue police trebuchet and moving fortress.
The old Lego bricks are just different: print on logos ( no stupid stickers, current conducting bricks, sound bricks, lightbricks - love it
This is the kind of stuff the internet was designed for. Education, entertainment. 100% love every one of these videos..i showed my 4yo daughter some today and she's already hooked..oh wait..these sets are $$$... son of a!!!! 🤔

That leek angle really did it!
Dude seriously, that was more fun to watch than most modern day action scenes! Brill!!!
I can't wait to see some sort of series where you keep slightly upgrading both sides. Like once the tank is defeated you add a tread cover and go back to the other automobile. A battle against yourself. Forever.
Omg...as an ex-development engineer i have say: i dont think ive had half as many brilliant ideas as ive seen in this single video in my entire career 😂
0:57 had me laughing my ass off
“Honey, I need to use the treadmill for a while.”
Not only do you have the knowledge to make amazing Lego builds, but you really have developed a great sense of comedic timing in your editing
This is my favorite video from you to date, I mean the string release system alone was awesome, but all the creative ways to stop the cars was do cool
This guy needs to design a vehicular combat video game. Carmageddon, Twisted Metal, etc. but with Lego.
I like how it went from normal police car then a real life police tactic then a 16 century catapult then just a crane that lifts tanks for a living
The skill and entertainment level is absolutely mind blowing!
I can't imagine how much fun you had while filming this... Great job!!
Sideways tire launcher worked too well, far better than it seems like should've
0:15 that beatboxing was crazy 🤯
fantastic, cant imagine how long it takes to make this kind of video!
I need to gather all of your videos into a playlist to binge-watch with my nephews for the Holidays. These are remarkable!
Never thought a lego vid with no dialog would make me belly laugh.. but here we are. Damn this is impressive
BUILD RAMPS FOR THE EDGES SO IT GOES FLYING!!!! lol this is extremely entertaining
Love these videos. Always a feeling of those intrusive thoughts back in my childhood. "What if I...?" But with a adult systematic/engineering take.
I wish i had the patience and creativity to do these things too.
I still love that tank! The suspension construction is so nice to watch!
This got increasingly more dangerous for everyone involved in the chase.
I have a cool idea for a Lego machine. How about a Lego brick sorter that recognises each piece and then sorts it into whatever container it needs to go into. Great video by the way
You're unbelievable. Excellent engineering 👏👏👏👏
NASA needs to hire this guy right now. This is the first video I am watching on this channel and I really think if someone can put us on the moon or the mars is this guy.
This is the best time you can possibly have on a treadmill.
