  • Larry that is one super nice ,well Engineered car. I built a 64 Plymouth Savoy and like you dealt with on your Caddy, you made it all. You buildt the wheelie bars for my Plymouth years ago when you were helping Rod Meek. You questioned the length, 84" long. You did a super job on them and they worked well. You was talking about the doors on your Caddy. I think over all you made an excellent choice using the factory door. At 22 lbs your not going to get any lighter. I had glass doors made for my Plymouth that were made off a 63 model and they wouldn't work. So I did the same thing, lightened the factory doors. Time I was done they weighed 24lbs. Enjoyed your video and the explanation of the build. You are one of the best builders in the business. Love the Hemi choice. Best of luck!!! I root for you always. Go get them Larry!!!!!

  • "be careful what you wish for" - epic reply to being told to make your vehicle more stock appearing. Love the car, even the color is spot on. You could roll into a church parking lot with that thing and people would think it's stock, until they heard it or looked inside.

  • I like that reason of "not stock appearing" because all this time I thought Wayne Smozanek's giant super charger was stock, Jerry Bird's hood scoop was stock, and Kye Kelley's car just rolled off the assembly line. The "stock appearance" is not why I watch NPK. Glad you are putting out some videos. I like the content so far. Keep it up. Thanks.

Thanks for giving us the run down on this build and on the S - 10.....it's a dang shame they outlawed it, yet they call this series street outlaw no prep kings.....go figure. God bless you, your family and everyone at the shop.

  • Man, Ive been a fan for years before NPK. I remember a friend showing me a video of you car running drag week around 2011 or so. I think it maybe ran the 1st 6 I think. I was absolutely amazed that it could take that kind of abuse and drive off. I got to see it in person in Gilliam LA in 2012. I was in DW 2014 and blown away by the debut of the truck. To me you are the OG that showed people what turbos and street cars can do.

  • I remember the first time I saw the car I was blown away by how stock it looked. As you pointed out no dzus fasteners, window screws, etc. After hearing you talk about all the factory steel panels I was very curious about the weight of the car. I am amazed that you got the car down to 2750 lbs! Even still giving up 100 lbs is a lot to give up to the field. What do you feel is holding you back from being more competitive with the car? Are you still sold on the big single turbo? If you can’t get down to the 2650 lbs and take advantage of the lighter weight aren’t you loosing the competitive edge of that combo?
