K-1 rules at Kunlun Fight 15 in Nangjin China.
Lerdsila is a former 3 x Rajadamnern Champion (in 3 weight classes)
and a 3 x World Muay thai Champion (in 3 weight classes)
Competing anywhere from 55kg-62kg
Lerdsila is hilarious beautiful technique to watch great angle changes and head movement, amazing fight instincts
Lerdsila is just the coolest, love the way he evades, tucks his chin down and lets opponents fire off shots while he readies his next attack.
The consummate professional, to be sure. Lerdsila is a truly elite nak muay. Some of the techniques and tactics that he has so successfully deployed in the ring are absolutely incredible. The more one understands Muay Thai deeply, the more they realise the true level of the skill and ability embodied and expressed in this lad. Definitely up there among the rare three or four fighters who reached levels that almost transcended the competition. He just "plays", with some of the world's most elite of fighters. Truly just incredible.

Good fight! Usually Lerdsila walks through most of his opponents but Wang hit him with a few good punches...still it wasn't enough as Lerdsila was clearly in control.

yeah nutty, he swung his leg out but somehow still managed to counter balance for a sidekick, thats very unorthodox for a muay thai fighter. Cool stuff.
Love the respect the fighters have for each other.. even though there beating the shit out of each other they can still smile and keep.it light hearted.. I find this more entertaining than all the bullshit drama before ufc fights

They are of same generation. Actually I prefer L over S. L has better balance of tech and explosive.
It is the unfair rule for Lerdsila. Holding the leg when was kicked and making the opponent fall down by spin holding are very common techniques were prohibited.

I don't get the warnings, to be fair I'm unfamiliar with kickboxing rules but I thought take downs where okay and that it is something the judges look for. Is that only in Thailand or something?
Throws and takedowns are actually not allowed under kickboxing rules. Muay thai is not the same as kickboxing.

You know you're in shit when lerdsilla starts smiling and dropping his guard. That's when you know he has learnt his opponents timing. Can really see it late in the second round of this fight.
