Russia is showcasing Western arms captured in Ukraine to coincide with its Victory Day celebrations, commemorating the end of the Second World War.
The month-long exhibit in the capital, Moscow, features vehicles from 12 different countries and Nato equipment.
Russia said it is a demonstration of their power and success in Ukraine.

This reporter is always staying within Russian guidelines that state that anything said about Russia can no be negative or pro Nato. You will notice how He words his reports so they pass Russian government inspection and approval.
I'm guessing the Russians, who fought off most of Europe (with the very honorable exception of Britain) in 1812, in 1918-20, and again in 1941-45 do see a connection between their victory in 1945 and today.

And yes, NATO is a proxy partner in the war because without NATO Ukraine would by now have lost.
Russia already had direct borders with NATO countries before invasion of Ukraine in 2014, and Russia didn't even object to Finland's NATO membership, which proved that the whole "mortal threat from NATO expansion" was simply Russian propaganda all along (no point in pedaling this obsolete BS anymore). Even Putin already moved on to other asinine excuses for starting this war like medieval history.
