A huge missed opportunity in not having Grant Gustin's Flash make a cameo especially as Ezra Miller already appeared in one scene with him on the CW show a few years earlier. Such a shame as it could have brought everything full circle
Plus, it'd confirm that the CW, as dumb as it is, is connected to the DCEU/DCU.
This I can agree with. Absolute travesty
I was so disappointed when I didn't saw him 😢
The Jay Garrick in George Reeves Superman universe implies that DCEU Barry isn’t the only one messing around with the chronobowl. So they could’ve easily had Grants Barry running through his own chronobowl in the CW universe.
@@sonamtashi7706Grant’s flash has already learned his lesson about messing with time multiple times plus he travels through a portal not a sphere
“Am I really going to defile this grave for money? Of course I am!” - Warner Bros executives
I hope someone can buy Warner Bros Because they don't deserve what they have
Warner Bros. is bankrupt and technically costs $1B. Disney, Universal, Netflix, or even Sony (whom ironically can be bought by Disney) can buy them. They just won’t give into what anyone wants. Paramount tried to buy them two months ago, but Warner Bros. would only settle for a MERGER!
Good Thing Kevin Conroy was Spared from this shitshow
Go cry about it. The bad cgi was done on purpose to represent the 70s and 80s
@@jg2722 You can have great CGI to represent their '70s and '80s counterparts; this is just....incredibly embarrassing.
They should have just had Brandon Routh instead of CGI. He’s meant to be the same character as the Christopher Reeve Superman anyway.
Yes, and no. In the CWEU, his version was shifted to become the Kingdom Come version of Superman. There were enough direct references to infer his CW appearance linked to his movie.
How..... could you say that? if it wasnt for Reeve, Routh wouldnt have had the opportunity to play that role....
@@Steve-hd6qk Chill grandpa,he meant that Brandon Routh should have appeared instead of CGI version of Reeves
Yeah, but then you won't have Helen Slater.
@@Steve-hd6qkwhat? It's so they don't have to make reeve a zombie calm down dude
I definitely would've loved the Worlds Collide scene if the CGI was better and had used living actors as the cameos like Brandon Routh Superman or CW Flash. I do love the music and The Superman Lives reference though.
It couldn’t be better, CGI is still unable to convincingly emulate a human being specially in motion. It cant get better than this at least for now. It helps if you think of it as a surrealist world.
Yeah whoever does their CGI needs to learn that the point of it is to make unbelievable things look real. If I wanted to watch a cartoon there's a huge selection out there of the DC stuff.
It amazes me how the director tried to excuse the abominable CGI in this movie…You can maybe excuse the time bowl, but you can’t excuse the PS2 Nick Cage and Christopher Reeves…Even Barry himself looks CGI, it was just a complete mess.
It's not abominable CGI, you are being an obtuse idiot. *Everything* the Flash sees in the Speed Force is distorted. It's his 3D brain trying to process 4D realities from the outside across hyperdimensional barriers. It *should* look weird and surreal. It would be strange if it *didn't* look surreal.
They look cgi because well, they are cgi… how else can you have Chris Reeve in it? Did you know he died?
Have people not seen the other DCEU movies? They've all been trash and had the same awful CGI in them. The last good DC film was Man of Steel. Everything after that is mediocre.
@@CainNukecage is alive and his cgi sucks as hell

One of the Reasons the Actors went on Strike last year. WB didn't tell Christopher Reeves Family of what's happening and Nicolas Cage wasn't even involve at all. Also no Grant Gustin? You had Ezra Miller made a Cameo on his show part of Crisis on Infinite Earths and they chose this movie over the Batgirl Movie?
Nicolas Cage was involved, but rather than only use just his scene, which was the scene of him standing while the camera moves away from him after alternate Barry dies, they decided to extend the scene. Regarding Ezra, the director said he wanted to have not only him, but also Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, Marlon Brando as Jor-El (who can be briefly seen in Reeve's sphere) and I don't remember if had mentioned another one, but he cut those because in his words it would've made the scene longer. Regarding Reeve's children, they say they haven't watched the movie, not that WB spoke to them. Don't forget they also closed a deal with WB regarding the Reeve's documentary.
Me when i spread misinformation on the internet
Should’ve used hand drawn animation
Why would WB tell Reeves family anything involving a movie? You want them to spoil whatever surprises they may have? Just because it was a shit movie from beginning to end, aside from Michael Keaton. Either way WB owns the rights and likeness of Reeves as Superman. Sonic fans are autistic
Maybe because nobody would care about the batgirl movie? That was a total mess to begin with starting from the miscast actress.

That film sounds like a giant clusterfuck, id still wanna see it. To be there and experience it I don't think Tim mixed well with Superman characters
@@Joecbg100 no, the script was great. It was written by Kevin Smith. But Nic Cage said fuck it and dropped out because he didn't like that Superman dodged behind a rock to avoid an attack. Tim was even apart of it because they never even officially started production on it.

One of the greatest joys I had watching The Flash was being able to watch fours versions of Superman in the same movie, Henry Cavill, George Reeves, Christopher Reeve and Nicolas Cage.
Henry was barely utilized in the most minimal ways possible, basically a cameo early on where he's entirely offscreen from a distance and the weird CG-double cameo in one of the time travel moments. He was about as vivid as Adam West's Batman.
1:15
It's incredibly embarrassing to have early PS2 CGI in a superhero movie.
It’s embarrassing to see fans complain about the cgi of cameos that represent the 70s and 80s. The rest of the cgi in the movie is really good but y’all refuse to admit it. 2:48

@@jg2722 Well, let's see. 21 FPS when it should've been 30fps, low resolution, color grading, poor shadows, and just the general artificiality of it.
@@comyxcon4gaming860 you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about , the video is literally 60fps and 1440p for me and the cgi in the specific time stamp looks amazing.
To be honest it owuld have been really cool if this happened. When Ezra Miller appeared in that scene in CW flash I think in this movie while hes looking through all the universes he ends up in the CW verse and then the conversation we saw repeats that would really bring everything full circle.
Oh yeah, alternate versions of characters standing front the camera and doing nothing for the plot, my favorite type of cameo. Bravo DC
Flashpoint has so much potential as a story. I’m a casual comic book reader and have loved everything flashpoint. I know this isn’t supposed to be a direct adaptation but still seeing the core story be done so dirty. I’d rather just remember the animated movie. Also they clearly thought all these half ass cameos would mark up for a shit movie and they even fucked that up. Hilarious
The most exciting moment in the film in my opinion, but why didn't they also briefly include Kirk Alyn, Val Kilmer, Brandon Routh, Dean Caine, John Wesley Shipp?
How did they even allow this movie to be released 😱 Especially since it relies heavily on CGI for most of its scenes💔
Have you seen Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith or '08 Speed Racer? They make the CG in The Flash look light as a feather.
They should have also had Brandon Routh’s Superman make a cameo. He was one of the best yet unfortunately underrated Superman ever if u ask me.

AI generates videos look more believable than these cgi effects lmfao
AI does what it can. WB doesn't do what it can to make money.

Nicholas Cage would make a great Superman!
Nicolas Cage as SuperMan is a bad idea
People are talking about just CGI. Yes, I know it's not good. I am sure there must be a solid reason for this, could be budget issue or something. But apart from CGI I love the movie, This is not that bad people! Love the chemistry of Barry with his mom.
Honeslty, the 1st half of this movie is really good, but once they brought in Supergirl & the multiple other timelines the story got overbloated. Plus, the message of how some things can't be changed like saving his mom is ruined with Barry literally doing that to free his dad.
Thought the movie was actually pretty good. Keaton returning as Batman was great. The gripe I have was Ezra Miller's endless yammering. But still liked it. Im 52. Seeing Christopher Reeves Superman again was great.
1:27 "Titans! Why did you do that to Superman? He's a national treasure!"
Looks great. When will this early 90s game come out?
"Nicolas Cage" as Superman
My only wish they did more of what could've been cameos they established Nic Cage Superman is out there in DC Multiverse or they could've have Adam Brody recorded a cameo as Barry Allen/The Flash from George Miller Justice League Mortal or the cast of that show up or Jack Black as Green Lantern as he was supposed to be Green Lantern at one point have Adam West and Christopher Reeves voice echos or use deleted scenes to use for Val Kilmer
Why they had to use Christopher Reeves likeness is beyond me ,yet there's no Adam West cameo or Micheal Keaton but George and Christopher Reeve were fair game ? Wtf warner bros ?
What did you thre no Michael Keaton dude he in the movie
A real life aggressor, delinquent, depraved psycho, playing a superhero, why they cast him for The Flash AGAIN makes no sense
1:43 how does Christopher look better in this shot than in the first one?! How do you do that???!
Still pissed they redid the ending. Having Keaton show up at the end would have changed literally nothing.
It’s…….an imaginative scene to say the least and I do think it’s kind of neat Superman Lives with the Giant spider and everything finally made it to the silver screen in a way. I just honestly felt mostly nothing watching this for the first time and I’m usually ecstatic when Adam West’s Batman appears/is referenced and I like Christopher Reeves’ Superman well enough that I should have been happy about that.
Personally I liked the movie but during the delayed due to Ezra’s controversies WB should’ve put more work on the VFX rather than hiring George Clooney to fill in the final scene. And for the love of god stop adapting Flashpoint storyline, it was done with the animated movie and CW show beautifully. Adapting for “used to be” the first Flash movie was a f*ing mistake
This would be a great PS5 game
The disrespect to grant gustin flash in This movie is mindblowing

@@Joecbg100 I mean, the concept of using dead actors isn't a bad idea in of itself, but if it's done purely for spectacle and not with care and respect, then yeah, people are gonna be upset.
