  • Just a reminder.. harming yourself isn’t funny and if you want to self harm you should get help. Yes, I did know exactly what I was getting into when I clicked on this video but I just wanted other people to realize that isn’t not fucking cool to encourage self harm or to talk about it when it’s irrelevant to the actual video. This video wasn’t made to have people comment about how much they cut themselves or how much other people do. It was just made to be relaxing or help you sleep.

  • How does anyone get triggered by blades? Doesn't that make life kinda impossible? I've seen some comments about self harm and similar, but how does that explain the fear of blades? You should already be quite accustomed to seeing a sharp object if you've been cutting yourself. Also why are you here of all places? To vent about your problems? There are better places designed specifically for that. I don't want to see another 1000 word comment about how *your* life was terrible, I'm here for good asmr, not sad commenters or happy recovery stories.

  • I’ve been clean for 5 months and visiting my parents has been…….triggering? Is that the right word?   • I've been avoiding this video as I am in recovery, I've been sh for almost 8 years, and I only began recovery around may of this year I was worried this video was going to trigger me or possibly just even kinda nudge my recovery backwards, but I proudly sit here (a little scared and anxious I won't lie) and I'm gonna watch it :) The sounds from it is insanely good and the sensitivity is in the perfect spot, like I could actually fall asleep to this Edit : I'm getting too anxious but I made it to 3:28, I am gonna work to finish this whole video, I enjoy the sounds but it is hard to watch the screen itself :( 03/12/23 - Update : Thank for the wishes and luck, I have been clean since July of last year and it’s been hard I won’t lie, but alls been good and this asmr is still just as amazing as when I last listened to it And for anyone who is curious, psychiatrists and therapy doesn’t always work for helping sh, no matter the doctors I saw and even naltrexone didn’t work for me, it took me realizing all I can do is distract myself because even coping skills really helped me stop doing it, it took willpower and getting away from the urges and it’s addicting, it isn’t easy Sh from ages 9-19 years old is a lot to deal with and just how it is for anyone at any age once they start. Shaming those for it genuinely just worsens the urge to sh and doesn’t benefit you who says anything or the person who is hurting themselves to hear degrading things. It’s not hard to be nice regardless if it’s towards someone appropriately focusing issues or not If you’re struggling with sh please reach out for help and try to genuinely stop, you will get stuck in the cycle and you will even end up possibly ruining your body as well, and from 10 years actually of sh it isn’t worth it, i genuinely regret it almost everyday and sometimes everyday
