The drama of this match was the 5 set points Krejcikova faced and fought off in the first set, but this highlight doesn't show a single one? Who the hell edited this?
People who don't watch the actual matches.
I did, you hurt my feelings. Ill never edit anything again.

@@zamoo7355 I'm enjoying the French Open partially because it gives me a break from idiots who constantly parrot whatever political stupidity they see on social media.
I hate these highlights these days. They are so not conclusive and do not tell the real story
Like so much the way Kreicicova shows her joy at end of match. She doesnt crash to the ground and doesnt force her opponent to wait at net to shake hands. Just arms raised. Old fashion style is often better. Greetings from Rome Italy
Kudos to Barbora came back from 5-3 deficit and saving 5 set pts in the 1st set. Great match Barbora and Coco
think her experience in wining grand slams doubles and mixes had helped her a lot
Americans are vanishing just like Biden's economy and Hunter's laptop details. 😁
@@zamoo7355 you realize there are more Americans in the WTA top 10 than there are other nationalities, right? It’s the American men you need to worry about, not even a single one in the top 30. But even so, what does that have to do with their president or some random kid’s computer?

I wasn't surprised Krejcikova got the win. I was fortunate enough to see Krejcikova v. Muguruza in the Dubai final; she hits a big, heavy ball, especially off the forehand wing, yet has the ability to add some really great touch/variety too.
And it wasn't the best match she played at Dubai. Her shots weren't as long and deep as they had been up to that point, and that allowed Garbiñe to hit back with more confidence - also Muguruza is one of those players who doesn't mind generating her own power on shots.
Krejcikova's experience battling in doubles really comes through because she and Siniakova are fighting for important points especially in championship matches.
Yes I saw that match as well as the the one before when she play Tiechmann. Was very impressed with her heavy strokes especially down the line backhand. Not surprised at all she is in the final
What a eficient and beautiful technique from Barbora Krejcikova!
Krejcikova is amazing !
French Open highlights are shorter than the time I take to pee....
An enlarged prostate have shown to increase peeing time.
Now that Swiatek is out, I think Krejcikova will win it all. She looked really good at the Italian Open and has been phenomenal at the French. The women's side is really deep right now.
I think she may have a chance but my money is on Sakkari or pav
@@danielkunde4428 No doubt, any of them can win it at this point. They are all very strong. Will be exciting regardless.
I think Pavs is the French Open titlist.
I think the only person who doesn’t really have much of a chance is zidansek or however u spell her name
@@nemospence2724 agreed. she'll want this so bad and deserves it the most out of everyone
Love Barbora's game. Hope she wins the title.
I love her personality too. Super player all around,.
Too bad she plays Sakkari in the semis. Most likely the winner of the game goes on to hold the trophy.
@@marekwojtowicz3005 She has way more options against Sakkari than against Swiatek. I love Maria, but Krejcikova style is ill-suited to her counterpuncher style. Now, if she keeps serving like she has against Iga there's not much anyone can do.
@@rafarequeni822 everything is wrong about this year's french. We could speculate on and on but in the end every day is a different surprise. On paper it's anybody's game, yet Sakkari sent last year's finalists packing 4:0. Hard to argue.
Congrats Krejcikova! You made it to the Semi finals, enjoy it. nice job!
Experience won today! Well done Barbora!
No question....Gauff has a lot to learn to start winning tight matches from quarterfinals on. She has a talent to go far but the unnecessary pressure is getting to her. That's why you don't tell a 15 year old she's the next Serena.
@@marekwojtowicz3005 She made that statement herself lol. Said she wanted to be "the greatest of all time" (her own words) I don't think there's anything wrong with confidence but maybe it wouldn't hurt her to be a little more realistic?
@@Cjjjj902 being confident is one thing but aside from physical aspect mental part is just as important. Let's wait until the stadiums are full of screaming fans. It'll be interesting to see her development. Sloane Stephens won 1 slam but at 28 her career is cooling off.
Experience knows when to stop the momentum of the opponent by faking medical attention and staying away from the tennis court for almost half an hour. That is the bloody shit that the TWA and its affiliates allow! Of course, the OLDER players are cognizant of that loop hole and take full advantage of it. Both NADAL and Djokovic exploit that nonsense!
Krejcikova showed really good movement around the court. That's a very underrated part of clay court tennis.
Krejcikova has been something else this year. She was showing signs of it last year, but she has definitely elevated her game to the next level. So happy for Coco making it this far. It looks like we might be seeing her regularly in the later rounds.
to quote the Australian guy from Jurssaic Park, she is a "clevah girrrrl"

Outstanding game of barbora..out class to Gauf..
Still a great tournament for Cori. Well done Barbora!!! Always impressed by the sheer depth the Czechs have on the women's side in this sport.
Cori will be f...ing big someday. Her power is unbelievable.
Krejcikova game is a delicatessen for the tennis gourmands and conossieur`s (if those words actually exist) even when she plays doubles you can listen to the commentators/former players praise her natural strokes and her smooth volley`s over the other three competitors on court (unless Hsie is on as well). Anyways, the Chezch Republic keeps on producing fascinating players with beautiful games and charming personalities on the WTA Tour.
Krejcikova can win RG. She has the game for it.

Krejcikova is kool, kalm and she picks : Her spots very nicely.great match ✦
Fascinating 1st set, not really a Coco fan. Well done Barbora, dead cool. I see Coco as a potential temper tantrum Serena when she's getting outplayed but this Czech wasn't having any of it, she remained calm throughout, even when the Coco fan tried to knock her off her game. Congratulations Barbora 💚
There are only few matches per day at this stage of the tournament, but we are still getting a 2 minutes highlight?~
It's interesting that the commentators on Tennis Channel gave Krejcikova shade for multiple ball tosses, but I don't recall similar comments when Gauff has done the same quite often.

Congrats to Gauff for being the last American standing. She just needs to learn when to tame her aggression and use finesse on some shots. That is one thing her opponent did well here.

We need ten second highlights…
You need to be more realistic.
Can I be realistic to ask is Cori younger or older than Coco. Whatever, she is a talented young lady. Barbora I think will win and did Halep play this year? 🎾🇨🇿
It's a little disappointing to see that an editorial decision has been made not to show the handshake at the net at the end of matches. It's an important symbolic moment of good will; I hope it can be shown again! 🙏🏻☺️
With 2 minutes highlights the handshake would be the only thing you'd see.
They also censored coco crushing her racket at the end of the match! That's the abject liberal media for you.
No top ten seed in the SF.
Yes! Hope Sakkari wins!
Coco stop yelling every single point you make. No one does that.
Correction, the greatest dont do it.
As much as i love women's tennis since 2000s, it's been hard to keep up with. You barely have a favorite to root for. I thought Osaka was the one, but now her career seems at risk. Every grand slam is a jeopardy and the final rounds looks like a third round or so.
I think naomi should be fine, i mean she is the only young player at the moment with 4 grand slams. For sure she needs to improve greatly in grass and clay, but she is by far the best hardcourt player at the moment
How is Osaka's career suddenly at risk? Just because she withdrew from RG? She just won 2021 AO ffs
I don’t see how that’s a bad thing. The talent pool is very deep in women’s tennis which is why there hasn’t been a single dominant player since Serena in her prime. If you’re not a bandwagonist it’s not difficult to root for who you like.
how is that a bad thing?
Watch Sakari. She is a strong Greek goddess
Show the handshake bro.
Coco did a great job.....
Coco? Not Cori
Can't believe Iga lost. Now Sakkari has a cupcake Grand Slam..
Well Sakkari still has to play the matches and prove it. By your own words you assumed Iga would have a cupcake slam. But it didn't turn out that way did it?
It wasn't totally unexpected. Played a different tennis this year. More mistakes, close sets and service was letting her down. Playing doubles usually helps but when you're out there everyday.... something's gotta give.
@@ivandesantis858 I mean when the entire top 10 is out before the semis that should be a clear indicator of a weak slam. And yes, if Iga won then she would have the free slam instead of Sakkari.
@@nubonsteroid9371 I hear you but that top ten fluctuates so often I could get whiplash trying to keep up but yeah Barty and other top players either didn't enter the tournament or were not right physically but all you can do is play who's in front of you and if Sakkari closes the deal her slam will count as much as anybody else's . I'm a fan of Iga too but that girl took it to her today and she deserves full credit for that
@Marek: something’s gotta give when you play doubles? You realise that Krejcikova is actually in the doubles semifinals as well? And lost in the mixed quarterfinals? Until the recent selfish, pampered generations who only think of themselves, it was completely normal for the top stars of the women to play doubles as well in every grand slam tournament. Never seemed to be a problem. But then the me-me-me generation took over and ditched doubles because they only wanted to focus on themselves.
It was obvious from the first game that Coco wasn't on it. As on many previous occasions, she was blighted by nerves. On the bright side though, despite having only just turned 17 she is now 9th in the live race to Shenzhen. No one else under 20 is in the top 35. It isn't rocket science to work out where she is heading!

@@stormyweather9917 Swiatek had had a medical time-out therefore was playing injured, & looking @ Gauff playing incredibly against Jabeur, she simply had an off-day......which I know the feeling of, suddenly you just have a bad day even though you've been playing brilliantly up until then. With Gauff having beaten Sakkari recently, I am unenthusiastic about a final involving Sakkari. It is my opinion the best players are not going thru to the final.
Coco is the most improved player and currently the best young player in the world by a mile so it may be wrong to criticise her but I am not a big fan of her forehand and I doubt that it will win her a slam, but we shall see...
