Probably adds 1 or 2 zero on top. Lego could legit branch to origami business, which means overpriced paper.
yeah
@@cypherusuh well we already have overpriced cardboard *cough* Nintendo
@@cypherusuh overpriced paper? more like literally the other way around, this would end LEGO's career. Paper is very easy to replace, people would just buy 100 bricks from LEGO and would create entire sets with paper from some Dunder Mifflin. People buy plastic bricks because these are sturdy, universal and you can't make them yourself, not with the precision LEGO can do it. Paper you just buy sheets and mold them as you see fit. Nobody is selling origami sets cuz one kid would just buy one, upload it on the internet and everyone could make it for free. You would go broke designing all these sets.
@@emeraldday4755 id like to point out that plenty of people and companies do sell origami sets 🙄
the number of unique ways to use this lego concept shown in this video is absolutely insane to me. like the original boxes and things didn't really sell it for me but the way he made stuff outside of sellable sets just to show what's possible is so cool like the book?? the sticky notes???

I like how the "bootleg" version (an off-the-shelf hole puncher) is MORE functional for this specific use case than the officially branded product.
By introducing "forgiving" tolerances it makes the toy easier to play with.

the only thing the "original" might have going for it would be a lack of any wobble
That's what it's often like in the world of tools, just ask Snap-On lol
The off-the-shelf hole puncher came before the lego one, so the lego one should be considered "bootleg"

@@cwg73160 you two must be either children who know nothing about business, or adults who have strayed so far from their inner child they also have no knowledge of the kids toy business. This guy has done much more than just 'bring back the idea that was already made.' He actually created his own sets that were objectively more interesting and better than the official ones.
