Woodturning :Crafting a Super DESIGN Piece with GEOMETRIC Innovation😳
I wanted to try out an idea with square slices of wood in different colors arranged geometrically and spaced a few millimeters apart, a bit like segmented wood, to see what result I could achieve.
The idea is interesting because it opens up the prospect of a new type of project, with many possible variations.
This project is accessible to beginners who know how to use woodworking machines such as table saws, planers and lathes.
I'm filming my work in my woodworking shop, in a calm and relaxing asmr-like atmosphere, to share my ideas with you.
I wish you lots of fun!

I used to love woodworking, but I physically can't any more... But I love watching skilled artisans like you.
thank you very much I’m very happy that you appreciate my work 😊
Morgan…. Just wanted to let you know… with all those gaps, turning that piece is only one second of inattention away from disaster. Add to that, doing so internally as deep as you did was astounding! My hat is off to your skills. Elm is one of those woods that fuzzes up worse on the face than it does on end grain. If you apply any liquid stain or coating it looks like a hedgehog. That may be the absolute best way to finish it! At any rate the piece came out stunning. Thanks
thank you very much I’m very happy that you appreciate my work 😊👍👍
THATS a awesome vase. weldone.
Thank you Manjitsingh 🌸🌸❤️

Excellent design and execution. Can you do a video on what looks like a sliding sled of your table saw shown in the first minute or so of this video, please?
Jack Thank you very much for your comment👍😉 yes maybe one day I will make a video of this machine, in the meantime if you have any questions, maybe I can answer them
@@bawbreizhartwood Is the sliding portion an add-on that you installed or is it shop made by you for your needs. It sure looks handy to have.
Great result as always, probably not a great vase for fresh flowers needing water! but beautiful for artificial or dried flowers. Missed you last week ? !
