  • As a Chinese, I can tell you that there are mainly two reasons now. The first is economic reasons. They owe a high amount of loans in China, and due to the current economic downturn, it is difficult to repay them. Therefore, they sold all their assets in China and fled. The other part of the population is due to political reasons. They find that China is slowly moving towards authoritarianism and feel that China will become less and less free like North Korea.

  • My dad was a WW2 vet. When he had open heart surgery I was not granted visa to visit him. Waited 14 years to process documents by the embassy to join him in the US. 5 years later he passed away. Life expectancy is falling, birth rates are dropping, and immigration has been low. This is why the Government is allowing for this to happen. I had to invest more than $2 million in my US business along with a ton of paperwork just to visit for 1-2 months a year, while these guys just crawl under a damn fence and the US authorities watch them like it's a pedestrian crossing.

I’m a Canadian professional with 30 years experience in the global financial markets, and I was DENIED a work visa following an offer from a life-time friend in California to join his gold mining company. He sorely needed my expertise, to which we would have both grown the business, contributed to the local community and to social security, among other things. We wanted to do everything right, endeavored according to the laws of the US, and we got totally shut down; unable to even appeal their decision. Making matters worse, we were told I’d also have to leave the US if I was visiting legally on a tourist visa, which I was. Then we see stories like this…
