Holy crap this is the best documentary on Netflix. And honestly I am willing to fight you If you disagree. Well not actually fist fight because I don't want to get hurt or anything. But I'll have a friend hold me back while I act like i would punch you if he wasn't holding me back.

Anyway you should watch this, It's not just about solving rubiks cubes, which is what I assumed it would be about. I am so happy this documentary exists, I am so thankful to the incredible team that created it and to everyone in the speed cubing community for providing an inside look into their world.
Plot: Set within the quirky, competitive world of speed cubing, this is the story of the rivalry/friendship between the two best rubiks cubers in the world -- 17-year-old Max Park and 23-year old Feliks Zemdegs.

  • Speed cubing may be one of the single greatest therapies for foster/adoptive and autistic children that exists. Once the children have their brain stems, and limbic systems stabilized, executive functioning can develop. Speed cubing not only develops executive functioning, but also social-relational skills in competitions and clubs. In the KZhead documentary 'Why We Cube' Max described cubing as a 'Gold mine [of therapies]'. I agree with him. It is exceptional for these children.

    • Well thank you for watching my review! This was one of the movies I watched that motivated me to start this channel, because I wanted to talk about how amazing this film was! I absolutely love hearing how many other people (cubers and non cubers) enjoyed the film. I actually started watching JPerm's channel recently, when he broke down that cuber who somehow put up a combined 3x3 time of like 4 seconds?? Amazing. I will forever be amazed by how talented every cuber is! ❤
