Holy crap this is the best documentary on Netflix. And honestly I am willing to fight you If you disagree. Well not actually fist fight because I don't want to get hurt or anything. But I'll have a friend hold me back while I act like i would punch you if he wasn't holding me back.

Anyway you should watch this, It's not just about solving rubiks cubes, which is what I assumed it would be about. I am so happy this documentary exists, I am so thankful to the incredible team that created it and to everyone in the speed cubing community for providing an inside look into their world.
Plot: Set within the quirky, competitive world of speed cubing, this is the story of the rivalry/friendship between the two best rubiks cubers in the world -- 17-year-old Max Park and 23-year old Feliks Zemdegs.

This documentary literally got me into cubing
That's so awesome to hear!! I am beyond jealous of anyone who can solve a rubiks cube, let alone doing it in like 8 seconds. Thanks for checking out my review!
As a cuber, I can confirm this is amazing.
That's incredible! Such an awesome and ridiculously talented community!
@@thefilmcubano yeah i can recommend it to everyone it's so fun!
Agreed. It captures the story in a way that’s enjoyable for cubers and non cubers alike
Same man!
Plz watch Speedcubers ❤ Edit: never expected more than like 5 people to watch this. Thanks to everyone who did! And thanks to all the Cubers who left awesome comments! Y'all are a great community ❤
i've watched it like 5 times
@@hunter-yt4eq I don't blame you!
The thing I love most about this is people from both the cubing community and those who aren’t can both watch this and still enjoy it. It’s great to both sides, which makes it incredibly interesting.
Absolutely! Whether or not you are a cuber this is a can't miss documentary!
Speed cubing may be one of the single greatest therapies for foster/adoptive and autistic children that exists. Once the children have their brain stems, and limbic systems stabilized, executive functioning can develop. Speed cubing not only develops executive functioning, but also social-relational skills in competitions and clubs. In the KZhead documentary 'Why We Cube' Max described cubing as a 'Gold mine [of therapies]'. I agree with him. It is exceptional for these children.
Being a speedcuber myself, I can totally relate to this documentary and I'm so happy that even non-cubers can appreciate it. Thank you so much for making this video! :) Also, you should totally get into cubing! ;) watch J Perm's video to get started!
Well thank you for watching my review! This was one of the movies I watched that motivated me to start this channel, because I wanted to talk about how amazing this film was! I absolutely love hearing how many other people (cubers and non cubers) enjoyed the film. I actually started watching JPerm's channel recently, when he broke down that cuber who somehow put up a combined 3x3 time of like 4 seconds?? Amazing. I will forever be amazed by how talented every cuber is! ❤
What do you average?
@@LOLLEXXhe’s a world class 2x2er and averages about 11 in 3x3
It's actually surprisingly not that obscure. It's actually a pretty big community. I've meet many cubers just randomly when I've brought a cube or seen someone solving one in public.
A much bigger community than i first thought! And full of so many talented people. It's awesome to see
It's one of the best documentaries out there
RIGHT?? So good!
i have seen the doc like 6 times already about to watch it again lol
Yes!! It was so well done! I don't blame you at all for watching it as many times as possible :)
Huge thanks to Chris Olson for playing a huge part to making thus amazing documentary
I'm so happy this documentary exists! Thanks for checking out my review!

Haha thank you so much for the kind words! This was one of my first videos and I still had no idea what I was doing. To be honest I still don't lol. But thank you so much! I appreciate you checking out my channel 😃
Loved this and I knew less than zero about speedcubing prior to watching. Then I had to learn more so I watched Why we Cube. Also compelling.
So glad you liked the documentary! The world of speedcubing is absolutely insane and makes me feel incredibly jealous of how talented all the competitors are. Will definitely check out Why We Cube. Thanks for watching my review 😀
I wish they also did it with competitive programming
Count me in for that too!
I like that critics, even though I’m becoming fast (sub11) I’m sooo greatfull to be alive to see that , they are heroes of millions of people, including me
Thanks for checking out my review! 😀

I finally watched it! It was AMAZING. So many people were telling me to check it out, definitely worth it! Thanks for stopping by the channel ❤
It’s very interesting seeing a non-cuber’s perspective on the documentary. Great review! I showed my mom the doc when it came out, and she mostly liked it because, like Max, my little brother has autism, so she really enjoyed the parts when they showed Max’s early life.
Thank you so much for checking out my review! To this day The Speedcubers is still one of my favorite films and I love getting these awesome comments from the amazingly talented community of cubers! I'm so glad you and mom both enjoyed it as much as I did! Thanks for stopping by the channel!
I am relieved to find out that it's not just cubers (like me) that love this masterpiece.
Definitely not just cubers! In my opinion this is a documentary that everyone should watch. I'm so so glad I watched it. It's still one of my favorites! The speed cubing community is so insanely talented though! So much respect for everyone who's a part of it! Thanks for checking out my review :)

The Speedcubers is great but I think why we cube is even better
Where can I find that one? 👀
@@thefilmcubano just here on youtube ;) by the cubicle
As a speedcuber I always get caught off guard by peoples reactions to me solving it because I always forget that it’s not normal for most people
It looks like magic to me. I can't wrap my head around solving one in general let alone in like 10 seconds! You're super talented! Thanks for checking out the review 😀
I loved it as a cuber
It's awesome to hear you're a cuber! That's an incredible talent!!
5:05 He holds the one-handed world record at 6.82 seconds.
One....handed...😱
I'll subscribe if you can guess what the Blindfolded world record is.
@@wildrubikslegokids1242 honestly if it's anything under 30 seconds I'm just going to feel bad about myself
If you include memorization, it is under 15 seconds.

Dude that's awesome!! I'm very jealous of how talented you are! Thanks for checking out my review 😃
