    • A P I believe the superstars traveling today are very similar to MJ. MJ really was the first to get “superstar” treatment, or no foul outs/travels. They would blatantly call fouls on other players instead of MJ so he wouldn’t foul out. I don’t blame the players, it’s the league that allows it. Why wouldn’t they take advantage of it?

  • There are a lot of lessons to learn from clips like these, AI was an amazing player but never won a championship. You can be great but end it all feeling empty handed... others not so great can have amazing careers with all the gold in the end.     • Iverson didn't leave feeling empty handed. Iverson had a generation, Iverson can say he reset the margin for the NBA players of today. Prior to Iverson they wasn't bringing the street basketball element to the NBA. They was all by the book and shit. The day after he left the sixers for Denver half of the Philadelphia stadium or whatever was empty because he was gone. Even the sixers of today were nothing like the sixers of the Iverson Era.

  • These are two of my top 3 favorite players alongside Timmy Duncan. AI doesn't get enough love, imo he's the best pound for pound player and being barely 6 feet in Reeboks he went up against some monster bigs and still drove on them. He had one of the nastiest crossovers, just ask Ty Leu.

  • MJ actually does a good job staying in front of AI and not getting completely burned, he recovers and contests the shot. and MJ wasn't in his prime Prime anymore. I would've loved to have seen 88-92 MJ defend Iverson. MJ says he was at his best in 91-92 when his game fully came together and he was in his peak athleticism.

  • Folks, as long as I've watched B-ball...ain't no better point guard who weighed ONLY a $1.65 yet had, disportionate, yet sneaky height of 6' 0! His fearlessness was a combo of Isaiah Thomas, cat-like moves like Pistol Pete, clutch shooting as Magic/Jordan and let's not forget defense and would take a charge from bigger guys! I DO have his original red/white/blue 76'ers jersey! Love this guy!

The difference in abilities behind Jordan and Iverson was clear Since Jordan was 34 in this game, would you care for me to show you footage of Iverson in his 30s?
