I am not a professional singer or anything - just an ordinary girl in music world who doesn't not understand different techniques.Many people here were saying about Diana using two voices and two notes at the same time or sounding like she has own autotune and so on.. and that all of that takes lots of practice, hard word and deep understanding of own voice. Speaking same language as Diana and knowing her story and watching her interviews - I would say that yes, she does practice a lot - but at the same time it is pure talent and she was born that way with already unique voice, all these things she does also come naturally to her .. her ability to use her voice that way. This particular performance is one and only! It gives goose bumps

It's polyphonic and i think a touch of overtone - both can be learned by everyone, but actually singing words is hard. Making it sound good is hard too. She has a rare voice in itself and a certain natural polyphonic nature to her singing voice, which makes it unique. But if you look at her developement from the age of 13 (participation in the voice kids - Russia with a multilingual yodel song) to the age of 15 (participation in 'super' with 'wicked game' and 'rechenka') to this at age 18, you can hear the LEAPS she made vocally and technically. The russian composer who came back from retirement for Dimash Kudaibergen alone (to compose songs for his incredible voice) was a judge on 'super' and he bought an apartement for Diana in Moscow so she can attend music school - and she did.

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human. First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. When she reaches deep inside is when you hear it. The harmonizing is nothing less of a siren song. Captivating and hypnotic. Beautiful.
