  • After the recent fight between advertisers especially Disney and Musk, i realized his 44bln doesn't go to waste. X has become a true platform for free speech. Remember not everything is perfect with musk. But his intentions is true and we have to appreciate that.

  • This interview was incredibly important for our tech world today. This man is a hero. It’s people like him that work everyday to ensure that the digital world doesn’t descend into the dark Wild West and it’s a safe place for us and our kids. Kudos to Kara for bringing him on. What I really respect about him is he backs his morality up with facts. I hope he gets justice and finds peace.

  • Had we, the users/consumers, stopped using SNS, would it be the best solution to bring the outcome a little closer to sanity and normality? The conventional one to one conversation. Even this approach can turn into a mess and threat. Yet, the face to face communication achieves insight more realistically.   • Interesting how two people can look at the same situation and see it so differently. Yoel saw Twitter as an exemplary company espousing the values and ideas of its employees and society at large. Musk saw it as a bloated, activist organization, not focused on products or its customers, and delivering a product that didn't advocate free speech or transparency. Understanding the degree of cooperation Twitter provided to law enforcement, et al, it would be hard to support Twitter's contention that it was an effective advocate of free speech and liberty for the average citizen.

    • I'm not sure why Threads is being mentioned, but the Threads app is above Twitter in the Android app store and it's active user base is half of Twitter's in just a few months (Twitter has a 17 year head start). It's doing remarkably well.

  • Trust and Safety, right? I don't see the trust part when I look at some of the Twitter files released showing what was happening inside with bias. Free speech as long as everyone agrees with us is what I see looking at the old guard at Twitter. I didn't like Linda's interview, but she should be given a chance to reshape the platform. Judge her based on that in a year or two.
