Former ITV News Royal Editor Tim Ewart has given his reasoning why King Charles III did not see Prince Harry during his son’s recent visit to the UK.
“The last time he came here after his father’s cancer diagnosis was announced, he spent 30 minutes with his father, the king,” Mr Ewart told Sky News Australia host Danica De Giorgio.
“But on his return to America, he immediately gave a television interview.
“No real, serious confidences were broken, but it just underlines to the royal family what the risks are when you see Harry.
“That frightens the royal family.”
Harry violates confidentiality, is a self perceived victim and chronically complains about his family. Who in their right mind would want to interact with him?

Look, I've taken care of seven family members (my sister died in April) with cancer. I've driven them to chemo and radiation appts., and I can tell you wholeheartedly that their emotional state, as well as physical body, is fragile. They don't need upset, they don't need drama, they don't need demands, they don't need being thrown into a panic that someone is going to go to the media and blab about their condition. Making even small choices in life gives them a shred of dignity, the fact that they can still control a bit of their life before they can't and the cancer calls the shots. Enough about the king and trying to figure out his reasons for NOT seeing Harry.

You have no idea what it is to go through cancer treatment. To say that it's not a walk in the park is the understatement of the year. King Charles has done a wonderful job still carrying on his royal duties after his diagnosis. The last thing he needs is to have an audience with his "darling boy" that would be very stressful. He shouldn't have to worry about his every word being recorded to use as fodder for Netflix. Prayers to His Majesty for a complete recovery.

The statement concerning the King not having time to see him, is Prince Harry's very passive agressive claim to victimhood. "See, I told you - my father refuses to see me, my stories about my horrible family were true. But, I will be strong, like I always have had to be." Besides that, the statement served no purpose.
No one is afraid of h. The British envoy to Nigeria gave an interview there the other day explaining this was just a vacation and in no way a royal visit or reflecting the monarch. After that, Nigerian news put out the same message to make sure the Nigerians knew this was nothing to do with royalty or the royal family.

I found your statement interesting, as KC3 doctors told him to limit his stress, and Harry is a stressor. I have a family member undergoing cancer treatment that started in the prostrate, and I recently read that the National Cancer Institute has done testing and believes YES that stress can worsen cancer and, in fact, can cause cancer treatments such as chemotherapy to be less effective. So, it makes me concerned that the mass media is playing right into Prince Harry and his PR team's hands. The media acts as if King Charles III isn't human with real feelings and is cold and hateful by not dropping everything to succumb to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's schedules instead of vice versa. Isn't he under enough stress just by being the commonwealth leader with over 2.5 billion people? It would be more helpful to him if the mass media would cut the crap and do accurate reports for once!

King Charles has invited Harry, Megan and their two children to Balmoral this summer. Thats if they even turn up. Harry also knew about this visit. So its really no big deal they didnt get to spend anytime together this time as they were both busy. The King in no way snubbed Harry.
When we visit our family in Europe, we must coordinate with them. And none of them are the King of England. We don't just drop in and expect them to drop everything.
@PS-pb2gm Exactly, Harry expects the red carpet when he drops in to see his dad. He's either allegedly looking for money or to get his dad to sign for a diplomatic visa as his runs out next year. He wants his IPP status back.
Why would the Royal Family get frightened or threatened by the two? The RF has a long time ago ignored and continued their lives gracefully without even for once using Harry and Meghan in any way. It is the two who cannot get rid and ignore the Royal Family. The two need to be royal to stay relevant.
