I have been using the wired headset for like 5 years, and from my experience its really good. Just remember to have ur surround 7.1 on and u can change ur equalizer if u think the sound is to pitchy or too much bass if that makes sense

loved the review, but it may be an idea to also use the mic audio in the video, im mostly looking for that, but other than that great vid so much detail.
Can the wire be detached from the Headset? I generally face problemas with wires in these products, so it would be nice to be able to change it, if needed
Is the rgb sync? like does it change based on your voice just like logitech aura sync?
I started with the Corsair Void RGB, i never changed headsets since. Just got the void elite because of one factor, Fitting. Having a big head, I've tried every top headset out there. Cloud revolver 2, arctis pro and even the virtuoso. Unfortunately they were all too small and the only headset that fit comfortably for me was the corsair void. While it might be loose for you, it is perfect for me, i can hang upside down and do a cartwheel and these wont fall off my head.

How do you make there a color or the headset
the headset is a bit loose honestly but it is good for me since I wear glasses irl. this is helpful bc it doesnt squish my glasses against my head until they hurt after a few hours with them on which is something I really appreciate. Overall the headset is very good and I have been more than happy with my purchase. Thank you guys for the video it really helped in my decision.
that's a very good point for people who wear glasses, this is the only pair I've tried that didn't make my ears hurt after a few hours, which was a pain that could become quite unbearable after a period of time with the other headsets.

These are wireless. The only time you need wires is to charge it up which can be done while in use. Though, with its very long battery life it should be a very rare occurrence that this happens.

I just got mines today and as far as it goes I’m enjoying it greatly specifically the wireless version. The mic is fine, Logitech is better but Corsair is still great. As mentioned I had to change the eq in icue to my liking. I have a big head so the fit is perfect, lovely review though.

I’ve just got these. Previously I’ve had hyper x cloud revolve s and a set of turtle beach stealth 700. Out of the box the sound is awful, and the presets are just shocking, but fine tuning them and turning on the 7.1 surround, they can sound incredible

@@billitz6208 Going from Bose headsets to these is like having a Porsche and going to a Fiat 500 and complaining about it no accelerating as fast as the Porsche did. The Bose are tuned for certain things and the noise canceling feature also blocks out any background noise.

i currently have some logitech one thats not the best, would it be worth to get this or save around 30-50 dollars more to either get a blue yeti or razer seiren x?
Any razer product is not worth the money, not just saying that because I don’t like razer but more often then not you can get something of the same quality for 20% less if you go with another company
It all depends on usage, if you're getting into content creation/streaming then we'd always suggest getting a microphone seperate to your headset
The USB plug wiring is faulty on my headset. Returning to exchange them for a non-broken wire. Bend the cord near the USB plug if you DC alot. If the disconnections stop your wire is bad.

These are one of the most comfortable headsets ive ever used. You should say “in my experience” or “my oppinion” these are not comfy. I used them for 15 hrs a day and these were the first headsets not giving me any stress on my head or ears. But thats just my experience.

How is the mic for talking and recording
The microphone does a good job of handling noise, keeping most of the background noise away, very good!
It cant be understated enough how loose this headset it. You need a ginormous head just so these don’t slip off when you look down or do anything that requires head movement of any sort. It is mind boggling how even after years of complaints from owners that you need to be a newborn elephant to properly wear this headset that they haven’t made ANY changes to the size of it. I will say though that the battery life is second to none up to 16 hours of heavy use in 1 sitting, the range is outstanding and the sound quality is very good for the price point. Just again, you need to be a space alien for these to fit.
Hello I recently purchaed this product and I have windows 10, is there away to increase the microphone sensitivity, because I have to scream in the microphone for it to recognize my voice while gaming. I have already went into the audio settings and increased the microphone volume.
You can go to the control panel > sound > recordings and click on your mic and adjust the volume boost an volume maybe that will help you can also listen to your microphone in real time

I've been greatly greatly struggling with getting the mic working on mine. Done everything from Device Manager shenanigans and uninstalling/reinstalling firmware/software/etc multiple times and even got a replacement from Corsair via RMA and still having mic issues. Anyone got a trick for this?

@@ghruesome I can get mine to u mute, however with every setting in both Windows and the iCue control software cranked to the max, i have to yell into it to be able to get any indication of it detecting sound.

@@captainjohnson.2890 Yes and no. Come to find out that I am just soft spoken to the point that the mic wouldn't pick me up well. Same with the other person who was troubleshooting it with me once. So I gave it to a friend who has a high school kid so someone could appreciate the thing and seems to work out for them. Ultimate resolution: I went to Guitar Center and got a XLR mic with a XLR > 3.5mm cable and a neat little mic boom stand for the same cost as the headset was and use a pair of in-ear monitors that I use when I play my instruments. Just a little more than the cost of the headset, but works far more better for me.

Hi compared to razer blackshark v2 bass or deep bass. Which one is more deeper bass. I'm more like bass type of gamers because love deep bass such as in ear mid end earphone where they got frequency 19hz damm low deep bass, hope this can be as close as in ear earphone levels. I'm using these now and I don't think the 7.1 surround sound mode is any good to be honest. It sounds better when using Dolby Atmos for Headphones or even Windows Sonic. I'm worried that it's a driver issue making the surround sound mode so bad. Anyone got a fix?
Hey man I know it’s probably to late, but it’s corsairs eq settings from factory, in my opinion anybody who buys these headsets google eq settings for what you are going to use it for and have different eq settings for music and another for gaming for example.

is the microphone on your headset muted? If not then try looking into your input devices and see if the volume is up and it’s the right input device.

My Corsair Headset has Not LEDs
I have actually gotten the white edition like 5 days ago and im going to return them, I have had a lot of problems with ICUE software. For example, they claim they are "discord certified" but it has a delay of 3 seconds (of the sound) when muting, moving, or entering a channel. (This can be fixed but it is really bad that they claim being Discord Certified and have problems with it). Also, I had two problems with the microphone: 1st. The volume is really low and I had to use an external software to be able to bring them up and 2nd. it just randomly decides to lower the mic quality on some strange windows setting so I need to go and get it back to normal. All of this I find extremely annoying so I rather return them and buy other headsets.

Check your Windows sound settings, also check in app or in game sound/Mic settings, you also might have something like Realtek audio app installed - In short check them all for something that looks like a Mic sensitivity setting or volume style slider and crank them up as desired. Also be aware that loads of software/games have settings to auto adjust the mic volume to try and cancel out background noise and they often get it wrong resulting in very quiet Mic pickup- Cisco Webex is known to-do this.

The SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless is more comfortable but doesnt have surround sound. It also has a range of 77 meters and a battery life of 24+ hours, and can recharge in 1 or 2 hours. I recommend the SteelSeries Arctis 1 Wireless over these

@@WePC i also got one, 3 and a half years ago, the razer kraken pro 7.1 chrome, and only now it started having some issues with what i think is like a problem in the inside connections, depending the way i move them they turn off and on again, but the foam part on the ears, the covering ripped in 6 months of use though. But overall i think it was a GREAT headset, with a really good mic. The mic mobility is really good and easy to adjust. but now i'm thinking about getting these or the HS60 PRO SURROUND 7.1 CARBON (copied and pasted it :)) do you think the the price difference is worth it? i know you said it isn't in the video, but the rgb, i mean, i kinda like that lol, so is it really a good rgb like the razer kraken one? By the way excelent video, really well explained. Sorry about any mistakes, i'm from Brazil, so my english is not that good.

I bought this wired USB one because I broke off an old pair in my headphone jack, The only thing that pisses me off is you can't turn the lights off and it keeps illuminating my room while my wife is trying to sleep!
btw guys if u hv a small head u can put for example part of ur keyboard on one side of the headset, as long as u r careful and after a few hours it will be alright !

Try opening up you computer sound config and check if the mic is reacting at all or even selected, it might not be activated or worse, broken

Bruh you have to get this out there before it's too late for anyone else, the mic on these headphones is terrible. At max, it'll only gain about 6% volume when tested and will require other 3rd party software to get a slight boost to its sound pick-up. Please look into Reddit comments and other forums where people have identified it as a product-wide issue.
