I am an attorney and I am 1 day into my free 7 day trial. So far, so good. Yes, the price is not insubstantial, but missing deadlines costs more. I am pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD- which makes keeping track of tasks really really difficult. I set up my agenda and was able to get more done in my first day than I usually do.
What kind of attorney are you? I'm an attorney are you? I am thinking about using this.
@JasmineFieldsESQ Family Law attorney. In other words- a divorce lawyer.
It's 18$ a month...
I'm just starting my free trial and so far it's pretty amazing. I'm considering recommending it to the attorneys that I help learn to use technology to improve their practice. Just wondering: have you recommended it to any other attorneys and if so what's been their experience so far?
Are you still using it. I'm a public defender so I am often overwhelmed by my schedule.
Motion would be excellent for students but the price is IN-SANE! Hoping to see huge pricing changes and otherwise for an alternative to appear
It's $18?
@@slatersellsseattle is it really ??? why does it say 34 or am i looking at the wrong one
@@luvmyg4053 its $34 if you opt to pay monthly meaning you will pay $34 every month. it is $19 a month if you opt to pay yearly, meaning you're paying for the entire year, so you get charged once a year. if you do opt for this, you actually pay $228 ($19 x 12 months = $228). so it's actually cheaper to pay yearly than monthly since if you were to opt for the monthly billing, you would actually be paying $408 per year total (with the assumption you are going to use it for all 12 months). why is it more expensive to pay monthly? fucking beats me but that's their pricing lol
It’s $20 a month but you have to pay for 1 year upfront
Surely they need that pricing rates with all that marketing campaigns 😂
A 7 day trial is nothing. They should move to at minimum, a 14 day trial to give you a chance to determine if week over week is functioning well.
Agreed. 7 days is not enough time to determine the utility of Motion.
Billed annually is just not accessible. Nearly went for it but that’s such a huge commitment
Like others, I have been bombarded with Motion ads, but I am about to sign up despite the price. There’s more functionality and options, and I am indeed time-poor. When you’re contemplating hiring an assistant, $19-34 per month is cost-effective. I don’t see this being the app for students. Students have more time to manually adjust their schedules. It’s busy professionals, bi-vocational folks, and others who will really depend more on the AI capabilities, saving 10 minutes by not having to reorganize the day on the fly.
Thanks for the information. The tool looks nice and practical but the price point is way too high for me and my use
Life changing for me. Got this and Opal. It has improved my productivity.
What is Opal?
@@genslinton it basically blocks you from using app like the screen time in iOS but better I think
man the price is insane , i would love to try it but , jeesus
The view shown around 2:05 looks very similar to trello type boards. Are the two pretty similar?
I don’t know if I have something but I have weeks or months where I just can’t function and in these phases payments get missed -_-, and appointments forgotten, the results life insurance cancelled, car insurance has been increased due to missed payments, and missed an apartment viewing, so I will keep you all updated if it works, screw cost I want peace of mind!
Nice review. I'll check this out. Prioritizing tasks is definitely on my list of things that I'm the worst at.
For the people complaining about the price, if a tool is practical it will surely be expensive, because it’s either this or you hire an assistant to manage your calendar, and I think that 19$/month or even the $40/month plan if you pay monthly it’s cheaper. I am still thinking of giving it a try, but I use other solutions and it falls on the same price range tbh
What people seem to forget is that it can likely be claimed back on tax (at least in Australia) if its work related...
Seems interesting enough, but as others have said the price is way too high. IF it is really as good as they claim to be. The seven-day free trial would be possible without putting in your credit card information first. If they are so confident that the product is good they wouldn't need you to have a payment upfront and use the cheap "gym membership scheme" to get their sales. but good video, thanks for the presentation of this site.
How much ??
The price is actually crazy, makes it completely impractical for students
And for workers also
How much ???
It’s only $12 or $20 a month. If you get paid weekly that’s only about $5 per paycheck, which most people spend $5 a day on just Starbucks or Dunkin
How can you complain about the monthly subscription price of a productivity app when your Netflix subscription costs more?
It doesn't the monthly cost is 34 bucks. quit yapping buddy
@@chrislmaoo_ oh man you're right, a whole $10 more than Netflix. You're on your way to millions.
@slatersellsseattle yep and some people don't want to pay that much. And now you're changing your argument. I debunked your stupid comment about it supposedly being more than a netflix account. 🙄 cry about it
@@chrislmaoo_ no one here is crying but you bud
I don't have Netflix... or any other subscriptions. They are not even comparable. They serve two entirely different functions 🤦♀
Is there a way to use / connect it with the microsoft tools like outlook, teams , planner etc?
Same question ! That would be great.
@@g_rec_attempt6782 yes there is!!!
thanks for the review. I don't need it now
My spreadhseet build functions better and with more options. Can customize it at will.
This helped me confirm Salesforce is still superior for me.
Does Salesforce use AI as well?
Is there a cheaper or free alternative to this software? I am a person who struggles with task prioritization and procrastination. I liked that Motion forces tasks into your schedule wherever you have open space, breaking the cycle of inaction. I'm just not sure if I'm willing to pay that price just to test it out...
Do and not speak. Simple and free. You want a pacifier to think it over?
I've been using Flowsavvy recently and it's been helping a lot. It's more designed for personal use I think and its actively being developed.

Read the seven habits of highly effective people by Stephen covey. This worked for me for the first three years of running my business
Well you just admitted your struggles aren't bad or worth enough to pay for it ? Haha you have lost before you even started 😂
pricing prohibitive for me :(
Schhedule…bless you
Did you even try it? How can you review the app without trying it

Those of you saying the cost is high, you're referring to USD 19 per month for individuals and USD 12 per month per person for teams, right? It doesn't seem insane to me. Granted, compared to some others it's maybe twice rhe price, but still less than the cost of loads of other things we all have to pay for monthly that don't offer value and time and money saving as a result. All this said, I haven't actually used it yet. Just set up a free trial and then saw this.
It’s USD 19 per month billed annually for an individual plan. In other words when the free trial is up you pay $228 not including any taxes or fees for 1 year of access in one payment. If you want to pay month to month the price is USD $34 billed monthly for an individual plan. Whether that is expensive or inexpensive is subjective to a person’s individual finances and goals. Just wanting to provide some clarity on the pricing.
$34.00 per month for individuals
$408 at the end of the year before taxes does seem rather steep.@@Tamayopdx
Nice tool but the price is too damn high for individuals! 7 days is also not enough to assess it and you want to lock me in for a full year! I'll come back in a year or so when you have learned your lessons by losing enough revenue that you switch to a more user centred approach. This is also not going to work for people transitioning from self employed or unemployed to a company where they are tied into that company systems and software paying upfront for a year is madness at those prices in USD.
720p what a joke
A joke. They will not allow cancellation. Their website is misleading and you simply cannot cancel using support, on a desktop or on a phone. Super unethical.
oh shut good to know then. won't even try.@@FrankDelFiugo
So it’s a daily planner. Great. “AI” LOL
