I have watched this fight several times every single minute. The commentators on the unofficial score card had it close or draw. Ryan Garcia dominated this fight. Was more than 3 knockdowns. And if the referee did not keep getting in the middle and giving haney so much extra time and space. There is ZERO way or chance that Ryan could have finished the fight by TKO. He came out swinging he called him early and yes he was the dominant fighter by far

devin was rocked from that first knock out..his feet was gone after that which is why he kept grabbing.... his team should have stopped the fight instead of letting him take extra punches to the head
He took a lot of shots to the back of the head too and Ryan hit him quite a few times on the break. It was a rough night.

@@shaz2761 except Haney was knocked down more than three times, a fraud by the referee, García was deducted one point incorrectly by the referee- so those two things actually make Garcia win the fight on points: but most importantly, the referee stopped Haney from being properly knocked out also a fraud. So Garcia should’ve won by knock out , *AND* should have won on points. Anyway, you look at it Garcia was better than Haney that fight by a lot. And by the way, Marvin Hagler beat Sugar Ray Leonard definitely.

Deducting a point was absolutely incorrect and out of line. In addition , Haney was knocked down 4-5 times, not 3. Ryan Garcia 100% won that fight on points, and also should have TKOed him if not knocked him out completely, if a good and impartial ref had been in place. People that know refs have said that this ref is actually not incompetent, which means he was paid off. And I totally believe that. Along with the judge who scored at 112-112. The judges were also completely off on the Lomachenko fight, which should have been a draw or a split decision- not only were they unanimous, but they were off by several rounds. And this was not even close to the worst judging I have seen recently: did you see the judging in the fight between Canelo Álvarez and Dimitri Bivol?!? They had Bivol winning like 115-113, when I and my trainer thought Canelo won at most 2 rounds-maybe 118-110 was more like it. Judging is ridiculous these days. But like I said, I didn’t love the judging in the 1970s either🤣 Hagler won that fight against Leonard!!!

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A REF BLOCK A BOXER FROM GOING BACK STRAIGHT INTO THE FIGHT AFTER A COUNT. RYAN, OUTPALAYED, OUTWIT AND OUTLAST, HANEY, LMFAO WHEN FIGHTING 2 IN THE RING.
Ryan Garcia still makes the same mistakes. He threw the left hook 3 times in a row the difference is Haney didn’t know how to capitalize on it he did duck the second one, but he didn’t counter.

@@sparkspark2314 Why would there be warning when Garcia landed a clean punch during a stoppage, thats 1 point deduction just as it should be. And they were slips not knockdowns. For a knockdown, the fighter should go down due to a punch from the opponent. That didn't happen in both the cases, watch it back. At - 1:44 , Haney throws a wild punch, misses, gets unbalanced due to that then Garcia hits him in the back of the head (illegal shot) and he goes down. Thats not a knockdown, since Haney didn't go down due to any clean punch from Garcia. At - 2:06 , Garcia throws a punch and misses as Haney bends down to dodge it, Garcia grapples him from the top and pushes him down from the back of his head. Again its not a knockdown since no direct punch was thrown from Garcia that lead to Haney falling down. First learn about boxing, instead of blindly attacking the ref.

You can't fully defend when throwing a punch, even Floyd left his chin hanging but he can slip after throwing. Possibly, when throwing at high speed, you have to keep yourself balanced, so i guess your subconscious makes your hand move on its own slightly to keep your balance during momentum. The slight movement is like cat's tail that keeps them balanced. Unpopular fact is, Ry was on top 10 less hit active boxer, not sure about current list, but do you remember him bruised that much? Nah, you won't even remember what else Campbell landed other than the KD, Haney didn't even bruise him at all and kept him at 87 total punches. Tank was just a good counter puncher.

I could understand the ref not scoring the other knock downs, because of the way it happened, but to take a point for hitting on the break was just ridiculous!
