(Blonde olaplex redken hair colour ombre Balayage hair how to ombre ombre vs balayage)
Anyone else watching this because they are about to attack they're own hair with bleach 😂🤔👀
Good luck 👍🏻
I'm about to attack my mom's hair 😂 mine is already ruined
Yessssss LOL
100%!!!
How did it turn out?
Not me watching this the day before I do this on a client lol
Same here!
Not me watching two hours before lol
How’d it turn out? I’m nervous for tomorrow xP
me too lmao
This is the best balayage tutorial I've seen Freehand balayage has always been something I've been uncomfortable doing. I loved how you showed the underside of your sections.
Wow fantastic to hear Amanda I hope you can take this technique to the salon floor with you some time soon 😁👍🏻
Ive been doing balayage since b4 it had a name lol
I love the fact that u talk with us about the financial benefits of this technique plus the way u explain the technique it self was easy i want to see more of ur tutorials
Glad you find that part of the tutorial useful I think or tutorials need context rather than just technique
I’m in cosmo school still and haven’t been taught how to do balayage yet but tonight I did a pretty good job on my mannequin thanks to your video. Thank you!
This is the best balayage tutorial on KZhead, thank you!
Wonderful thank you very much glad you appreciate it
After thinking and thinking way too much I finally decided to take the risk and use this technique on my own hair for the first time at home. I NEVER ever have done balayage on my own so I was completely stressed and worried at the same time that I could damage my hair or have a completely fail result. I didn't need anyone else, just me and you helpful video. I watched very carefully every step you did and I must definetely say I LOVE how it looks!!! I cannot believe how awesome look this balayage technique on my hair!! Even my husband and friends told me that my hair look stunning and very natural. It was easier than I expected. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I will be using this techinque always! FYI: Even when I did this for the first time, it took around less than an hour to complete the whole process. I can't be more satisfied! ^_^
How did you do it on your back?
5:23 “icing a cake” Now you’re speaking my language thank you for the tutorial! Much appreciated!
I did this on my daughters hair. It looks so gorgeous! I’m a beauty school dropout so foil is all I know. Now I know this technique
Literally same exact life 😆
This is literally AMAZING!! Getting back into doing hair and trying to find new techniques to lessen the time it takes I will definitely be giving this a go!🙌🏽🙌🏽
So much easier than what they’re showing us in school! Thank you!
I went to cosmetology school but never graduated because of Covid, but I used your technique and it came out perfect! The back took some TIME but it was worth it.
I did this technique yesterday and it turned out beautiful. I’m doing the customers sister this weekend. Wow he’ simplified the procedure and I appreciate it.
I've seen lots of balayage videos, and this is my favourite so far! I'm in love with the result! ❤
Wonderful thank you for letting me know that is so fantastic 😁✌🏻
The points of light gave natural blonde light effect especially around face and done so fast love, love it
Yes Helen it’s a cracking technique this one it’s a must have in the bag of any stylist who does Balyage regularly 😁
I always end up doing my own balayage and I use this technique but dont use a brush (just gloves and my fingers) I like to push up my hair with my fingers in a swiping motion to really blend the bleach. After I let it sit for about 20 minutes, then rinse and only use shampoo to wash out any product. After, I like to put a medium ash brown to blend the highlights (loreal has some great choices) and that gives me the most natural looking balayage and blends it perfectly.
Hi, what loreal product and color 6A?
Absolutely made this understandable, quick, and gave me some confidence
Thank you! My hair came out to die for!!!
Gorgeous results!! All the way around. And SO quick and easy too! Such an awesome method; thank you for sharing! 😊
Thank you so much I did this today with clay lightener and 20 got 2 levels on a five to a seven and charged a decent price but included a Redken All soft Treatment afterwards. Did five sections instead of four . Turned out great and she loved it. And she loved the versatile money piece.
Talent!! I've been doing hair for over 17 years, i still learn something every day, and doing this technique scares the shit out of me,i know i just need to practice and do it more often, because im really tired of backcombing the hair for my ombres or balayges and would love to get this technique down, awesome job, thank you for sharing your talent with us🤗😊😁👏👏👏👏
Wonderful Haley, it’s just practice, and you will smash it, in no time 👍🏻
TY for sharing...I like your technique the best because it’s less damaging to the hair..and looks fantastic!!
Beautiful Beautiful job thank you so much for showing us this technique I’m actually following your technique right now in my 17 yr daughter have a blessing day
OH MY GOSH, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT , IT REMAINS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME FOR OWN HAIR.........YOU DID IT EFFORTLESSLY.......LOVE❤❤❤
You lifted the ends before this video. It should be noted that doing this technique on someone with a level 5 haircolor or darker will have an end result that is brassy. The reason for this is because clay processing at room temp doesn’t lift well because there’s no heat. Some people purchase oscillating humidity color processors, which are very expensive. Humidity is needed because reg heat drys out the clay which stops the lifting process. I recommend doing balayage with clay on levels 7 and higher. Any darker I ALWAYS use foils. Clean application. The filming is great and your well spoken.
It's a mannequin, it's probably had its hair highlighted and colored before the video. I don't think he did that deliberately. He's also showing a technique and not what to use for the lightener.
Thank you so much for the efforts making the video James, much appreciated.
I did my own hair using your tutorial and it came out so good!!! I wasn’t even nervous ♥️ my hair looks great!!
Wonderful glad it went well
oh wow this is the best Balayage technique i ever see! thank you!
Thank you for your video, I been a stylist 23 years and I’m great at foils, but balayage is still a struggle for me. I will try this technique!
“Free color technique”- I love it 🥰
Fantastic glad you loved it
WOW I LOVE YOUR TECHNIQUE!!😍 I always been scared of doing this trend, but for sure I'm gonna try this, THANK YOI!😘
This is GORGEOUS!!I've seen a lot of techniques and this is beautiful
I just used this video as a guide and did my own hair and it came out pretty dam good..its was fast and easy to do.
Thank you! I'm thinking about doing it!
Did you find it easy to paint the back pieces? I've REALLY been wanting to try this, but I'm afraid of trying to do the back. It's always hard when I try to foil the back.
@@debbiepacker3563 it was easy cause you don't have to saturate the hair with dye. You only brushing it on like if you were painting on your hair
@@dontlookforme1999 Thank you so much! That's very good to know. I might give this a try after all!
@@debbiepacker3563 go for it!!!
AMAZING RESULTS!
Thank you for sharing. I love your technique.
I tried this technique in the salon and I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. Super easy super quick thank you so much
That is absolutely super Katscott that makes me very happy to hear 😁
Really good !Simple yet effective and beautiful !
This is INCREDIBLE 🤩🤯 I’ll definitely try these techniques, especially for the money piece
Beautifully done.
I have practiced this and my first balayage I have impressed myself I just love the results because I kept it simple as you said
Wonderful so pleased it’s worked out for you
I did this on my husband (he’s a base level of about a 7) and it came out stunning! Coming back to review again as I’m about to do his regrowth lol.
Did this technique on a friend and the result looks beautiful. 😊 very easy, so I am going to try this on myself. 🙈
Wonderful Holy so pleased it worked out well for you Hope your hair goes well
Did you try it on yourself ? I’m wondering how hard it would be on yourself to hold each section flat down.. I have super long hair but I think I’m gonna try it!
@@es5327 Yes I also did it on myself and it worked quite well. It just takes a long time, so I rinsed out the bleach in sections. Otherwise it would have been on for too long. 😊
So you only paint the top layer of the section
@@holymacaroni2466 bleach only lightens and goes so far. if you use the correct developer strength it will only lighten so much & willnever cause damage :) remember to always use the correct strength & never over 20 vol!
You sir are a true artist. Your finished product gave me goosebumps. I hope whomever I go to do this work has 1 10th of your talent
Oh very kind of you thank you very much
It’s amazing honestly

Okay wow I appreciate how specific you are -i.e following the lines & shape of the skull... Just followed you here from a brad Mondo video of yours. Excited to check your other videos- I'm looking to do balayage on my hair-which is a couple of inches below my chin. If at any point in time you care to share any wisdom regarding how to compensate for short hair when doing this technique -on behalf of the short-haired community whom I've self-appointed myself to speak for -THANK YOU 💜YOU ARE SO APPRECIATED!🙂
so effortless and beautiful..thank you🙌🙌🙌
I did this the first time i tried balyage. i had 0 teqnuique, decided to eyeball it & just went for it - shocked it turned out super nice & not a blotchy mess. Ive not been able to recreate it since watching vids to learn how to... & now i realise my mistake 😂😂😂 super helpful vid!
