Such a clear and concise tutorial! No distractions, just pure education and straight to the point. Thank you for this!!
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Yes I agree! Love it!
This looks WAY more natural than most. Well done!
i have been waiting for someone to make an in depth tutorial on how to do this cant wait to try this in the salon!
I just tried this technique out on myself at home. It was very challenging but worth it, and I love the results!! Thank you so much for sharing!
On yourself? At home? I’m so Jelly!! I wish!
Wow well done how did you manage to do it by yourself? Any tips❤❤
Did you have your hair virgin???
I'm trying it today, wish me luck! Haha💕 🤞
@@B.Harper7how did it go?
Absolutely gorgeous. I need serious guts to try this at home. I like how the ends came out. No need to trim.
This is what I call mastery!! I will try it. When I did my highlights I used to use 20, 30, and 40 because separating & applying takes so much time hence different power developers. I love that you separate the hair totally and apply the developer all at once!!! Just pure genius.Thank you 🥇 ✨💖 ✨🏆
This had my mouth hanging open… with AWE! How much easier and less confusing is that application. Great instructions.
This looks so beautiful, and seems easy enough to do by yourself. Will definately try!
Girl I’m speechless this is what I want but no one else did that it’s no dimension but yours is stunning
Gorgeous. Such great blending and such a timesaver!
I am back for round 2! This technique is so amazing especially for us that do it at home. I use this just to section for highlights!!
I absolutely LOVE this result! So beautiful and hopefully I'll be able to do it justice 😍
Best one I have seen! So simply explained.Thank you!!
This is absolutely perfect ❤❤❤
Absolutely stunning and so educational!! Cant wait to try on a client
Yesss I can’t wait to try!!
Thank you soo much for this clear and precise tutorial!! ❤
Gosh dang that’s so pretty! I really need to learn to try on myself!
Wow! It’s beautiful! At first, I got a bit lost with the sectioning but it made sense why you did it like that. I need to try this. It looks beautiful & carefree.
Love this! I stopped doing highlights and balayage on my hair because I always seemed to lose dimension no matter what we did at the next appointment. Love this technique and the results!
Thank you! Can't wait to try!!
This is amazing! 😍
Im definitely try this! U make it look so easy ❤
Great tutorial, cant wait to try it!!
Love your video! Your technique and teaching were very easy to learn from. I will be trying this at home. Thank you!
I’ve been doing this since I seen your video the other day I had two today and they are both absolutely stunning. One was level 4 with some copper balayage and the other was level 5 red red with fireball balayage! Thank you 🎉🎉it’s a win in my salon!
Just tried this at home. It came out bery nice. Thanks so much ❤ brilliant technique
Great job on the speed of this video!
Wow awsome result
HOW CLEVER! The end result is exactly what I want and boy, does it look so much easier... wow. So impressive!
Love this I'm gonna try it tomorrow!
Beautiful!!
WOW. I am trying this ASAP!!!!
Omg thank you so much for all this info! I’m currently in cosmo school and this is what my customer wants
Love it!!
This is brilliant 😍
Thank you can’t wait to try it
Trying this tomorrow on one of my regulars !
Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
You helped me fix my last salon highlight! Been living with it for months, but hating the way my hair looked with the yellow/orange whole head highlights. This technique was challenging to do on myself, but wow! I’m so happy with the results! Thank you!!! The only change I made was doing a few more foils on the back combed highlight sections.
Can I ask you. I purchase everything and I’m ready to do this on my own at home as I’m currently on the same position had highlights done and it looks yellow orange etc my question is I understand the tutorial but the 9n gloss when did u apply that? After washing the highlight and lowlights out right? Did u use a applicator bottle and apply all over or? That’s the part I’m lost on or did I miss something?

Very nice and practical technique! Thank you
Best video. I'm sharing it everywhere. 🤩Thank you
Love this! Thank you
I'm not a hairdresser but i've done it on my own hair and it looks fantastic! Thank you very much!
Great job!
What a great tutorial
Great tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
I totally love this. My hair has gotten to light on top due to the sun..still trying to wrap my head around the braid and weave
Very clear tutorial 👌 👏
Hi! I loved your work!
Ur the kind of colorist I wish I worked next to🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥
Hey such a great video! A quick question, if you don't tease the 3 sections you used lightener on and just dye them, what impact will it have?
Omgosh i did this lovvvvve it Ty
You're a genius. ❤
Genius 🤩
Thankyou ,looks so good
Thank you Cheryl! Glad you liked it.
I usually don’t comment on videos but thank you I just saved my sister hair with this one!
my toxic trait is thinking I can do this all by myself
Best video seen on here
I wish i could do this on myself but no, i know id eff it up. But looks beautiful. Love the look.
Beautiful
Dang I'm going to have to watch this multi times
I did this on my daughter who was blonde and wanted to go back closer to natural shade with highlights and money piece. She LOVED it.
I’m intrigued to try it to add some lowlights since my balayage turned out too blonde
I’m gonna do this on myself 😁
This is so pretty! Can’t wait to try it ❤ Where did you get that mannequin and brush?
Thank you so much for sharing. If you were to use a permanent on a client, would you still use a global gloss after rinsing?
This is an amazing technique! Did you use a toner on the blonde pieces?
I love you for showing this to me. You are a genius. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I
Super astucieux bravo !! Merci
This was insanely beautiful! Can you show how to get these results on a 613 wig? I'm dying to learn.
Wow!
Would this work to make balayage with different colors? Like a blue and a purple for the low and highlight sections?
If you’re ever in the Bay Area I’m a curly specialist and can lighten hair without damaging the curls ❤
❤ does this method work from a certain length on? I’m not sure it’ll work on shorter hair
Did u tone blonde after also what base did u use thanks
So when do you go in and re-do the foil color?
Tried this on my mum as hair dresser wasn't quite getting right colours she wanted. My mum has silver grey and blonde hair and she wanted some dark grey low lights and lilac highlights. But still keeping the silver grey blonde bits. So I didn't do the root colour and left a thin slice on top and fringe. Then used the weaving technique in this video into 5 sections for low and highlights .....worked a treat I was impressed with myself as I'm not a hairdresser! A big thank you ❤
Would this work for someone who has no previous highlights? I want to ask my hairdresser to do this on messed up hair. Easy way to hide hot roots and lighten ends
Okay if youre in California i need to book you to do this to my hair. Im low key tired of being a blonde and wanna transition back to brunette this would be a great first step
Can I ask when you put the global gloss on?
For this technique is working if doesn’t have previous highlights?
How can we apply this technique to dark colors? Avoiding changing the base?
can i use a clear gloss if i don’t want to change my root colour?
Is teasing necessary if it's just natural dark hair with no colour?
Thank u.I been searching for this technique.u explained very well.I want to buy your toner formula book .could you please share a link?
Thank you! It’s available at goldnbraidsalon.com/thetonerbible! 🌟
Where’d you get your maniquinn from
This is an awesome video . Kudos to you. .but if this was done on black hair or brown hair which was evenly coloured it would have been great but I think the wig already had highlights
Beautiful. Where did you get your mannequin from?
I have too much hair, it would never just stay pushed over….anyway I could clip the dark hair?
How do you wash the colour out without getting it on the blonde?
How often can you do this process
Love this, thank you! What would you do if you have someone who wants the money piece closer to the scalp? Do it after this process but prior to the toner? Or prior to the root color? I think I just answered my own question. lol. Can’t wait to try this!
I saw people on insta were puting the foils in first ! Just as a face framing highlight then weaving out the braided balayage technique after they put those foils on
Hi do u provide any online teaching of hair styling?
😍😍😍😍
So you comb out the backcombed bleached section prior to rinsing it? I would be concerned about damaging and co-mingling. Or,am I misunderstanding you? This came out beautiful. Looking forward to trying it on my clients.
Thank you! The way I teased in this video is so gentle so its very easy to comb out prior to shampooing. Sometimes I just go ahead and rinse everything with the teases still in and they work themselves out in the shampoo bowl!
what did you do at the teased hair ? did you applied toner or just left it like that ?
I left that alone and then glossed all over in the bowl!
Love this! So you make the weave and the weave part is the lowlight? And the bottom of it is the “hilight” is this correct? Also what if you do the reverse. Take the weave (the top) and make that the hilight? And the bottom the dark. Will that make it over all darker than what you have done in the picture? Just curious.
Thank you! And you are correct, the weave I’m picking up is the lowlight and the part left out is the highlight. Doing the reverse would provide a darker end result and you wouldn’t have the opportunity to maintain lightness around the face, I would use this technique more if I was doing a color melt versus a teasylight combination like in this video!
@@itsabigailresch thank you so much for replying! Helped a bunch. ❤
Did she use toner before wash?
Where did you buy the mannequin head from?
