Hi i would like to see a quadrajet carburetor 750 cfm vs a Holley carburetor cfm
I would like to see y'all go all out on a 4.6 crown Vic engine
PowerNation *_
Thanks for putting these on KZhead!!!! I love these types on shows!!!!
Love it already.
I LOL every time I see the word "Budget" on one of y'all's videos.
Well if your Budget is $20,000+, I guess
That's why it has a question mark. The answer is no lol.
$20K for a big block 1000 HP is low budget
Budget to them is $12,000
their loophole is that the word budget by itself doesn’t mean low cost. every project is on a budget. some are low budget, some are high budget
Gingerly pry off intake manifold Proceeds to beat into submission 🤣 Love these budget for millionaire's builds 😜😳
Yes. When they open the hood, I can see everyone going "woooow... this must've cost you nothin! Everything was super cheap!!!"
Cheap, Good, Fast. Pick 2!
considering the fact that the long block alone is 12 grand, not including the upgraded parts. they did for 1000 hp......yep, super cheap lol
😂 Super cheap if you’ve got a black credit card and time on the toilet with a Summit catalogue. Fuck these shows. Just ads for catalog companies.
1000 n/a horsepower for 16,000-18,000 ain't that bad.
I love it, 1000 hp N/A on a teeny 75,000 budget 😐🤥🤥
Where the hell did you get 75k? This is around 16k max
I've watched people build motors for 35k and only be at 800 hp on a big block. 16k ain't so bad tbh, and any built is a budget build, just might be a larger budget than YOU have
I like how you show putting the engine together dryer than a popcorn fart.
If I ever win the lotto I want this guy to build my motor.
Ken Graham my brother from another mother I hope and pray that you hit the lottery 🙏
Nah. He sucks.
@@theguy9234 cool story
Ken Graham I want the girl to work for me
NRE would be better
He didn't trust her to get out of it he pushed her hand off 🤣🤣
The pope showed how.
I saw that.”Nooooo don’t blow it up.”
she looks like a stay in it type ;)
OOFSPEC yeah lol
@@uh1c-chiefna996 aaaaahahaha!!!!!!!! noice
1,020Hp naturally aspirated...wow.
Buys brand new crate 632 short block, just to gut it for the “budget build”. I guess by budget, they mean they didn’t order the billet block they could afford?
Really wished you guys got more views! Nothing but positive knowledge is what I get from you guys, thanks for great videos!!!!
I love how you say budget friendly. In a wet dream. I love it non the less.
I love watching Pat work!
I absolutely love you guys at PowerNation, I could literally watch your videos all day! The best in the business!!
I feel the exact same way
I need their "budget".
Great info in this episode. I'll stay tuned for the 7 liter Windsor. Thanks for posting.
Now you kno GM is always gonna get top billing, Ford is always an afterthought. Even when it's a FORD episode some kinda GM product will be advertised 🤷🏾♀️💁🏾♂️. I'm not hatin but I'm not a brand guy so I'm just speaking on what I always notice.
@@1tuffzx10 not really a Chevy elitist or anything but chevy did make the most muscle cars so I guess that's why they use mostly chevy cars. Tho I'd say chevy has paid them to use chevy stuff when they can
@@bigboreracing356 personally I think they both did, but I'm not a brand fanboy so I give credit where credit is do💁🏾♂️
Look at that torque line. Wow. That’s a great engine right there.
Dude, pats the man. These guys are legends
I love this video!! Will be binge watching some of your videos tonight!!!
PAPERGATORZ FEDDUCCA you should definitely download the app on your phone or Computer
@@blainemeyer thanks I'm on it!!!💪💪💪
Well for my 1st ride the 351 is a Hell of a ride.
I like how that rod rattled around when you sinched in the rod bolts....
I noticed that no bearings?
More powah baby!
I love how an intake manifold, aftermarket cylinder heads, and a Camshaft makes big power gains
@Car Guy daddyo I have a chevy small block 400. Only has an Edelbrock Intake and a Demon 750 Double Pumper Carburetor. Hot Rod Magazine built a 400 with good power gains. Vortec Heads and aftermarket internals.
Well he did go efi later in the video. And it's better than carb. Cus it's efi system is all in the throttle body itself which is awesome. No external computer needed. And is self tunable. Very easy to use. My dream build will be doing something like this. With that Holley sniper. Looks amazing
Y’all rock 🤙!
This would be a perfect engine for my dad’s old 87’Dodge truck. My dad spent a little over 30 years in the military. And what messed me up was after I spent just about everything I have to get a new restoration job done the right way and on the way to pick the truck up the little 318 blew up. I’ll do and pay for your troubles.
I wanna see this 6.0 vs 351 episode he mentioned at the beginning of the video!
*sees video* Big block chevy Windsor? *watches video* Oh that's what they meant
When ya do it right ya have to pay the piper. If ya do it cheap you also pay the piper, a different one
Youll be paying twice. Seems like a lot theae people in the comments dont understand why they use brand name parts made in America, not Chinese junk heads with shitty rocker geometry
“And since there’s truly no replacement for displacement” *laughs in turbo noises*
Pat needs more pockets for more pens, screwdrivers, flashlights, phones, glasses and whatever else he can cram in them. lol
Also, the Sniper is a good system, but that Stealth is shipping with a fuel rail that doesn't fit around the TPS. (Note how y'all hooked up the fuel lines?)
Hell yeah tape measure on the belt
It really would be nice one to see of these engines Raining Rods
I love big blocks but just over 1000 hp out of 632 cubic inches with over 15:1 compression just doesn´t seem all that good. 632 cubic inches is 10.35 liters. Modern n/a engines tend to be able to make in the neighborhood of 100 hp per liter without needing race gas.
That's what I'm saying, I've been wanting this engine for the longest but at $10-14k n can only be boosted to 5-15psi with its forged internals seems weak in my opinion.. A stock 5.0 Coyote with its forged crank from factory can handle 750-800hp boosted, costs just as much, but I like the n/a BBC 632ci better, I would like to know what it would do boosted at 15psi before buying it, I would hate to have to buy an LS engine, unless its the LS7 7.0L 505hp from factory, that's the only LS I like from the Corvette, thing gets 25-28mpg, that's huge for a 500hp motor..
Depends on how it's built. I know built right a 632 can make 1,000hp on pump gas. Scott Shafiroff has a 1,050hp 632 pump gas that he sales.
YOYO MA will host that thing would easily push 2000
344 horsepower for a 8k budget....someone got completely screwed over
Big time!
Did you watch the WHOLE video 🤨🤔, that it's a big block Chevy(632 ci).
Always wanna have that billet water pump with budget in mind
Nice engine build. Time to upgrade that tin can caulking gun to a COX. No more struggle
I sometimes like to dig a hole in my garden, climb inside and pretend to be a carrot. I am very lonely
Im very lonely as well. I like to dig a hole in my yard and believe im a tiny tree so i feel you man
Thank you, Man of Culture!
And 2 months later this comment has some real.. Real.. Meaning 🙄
Build hotrod.
It would be so fun to work at powernation. the first thing i would do is make pat set the timing to where it should be , right out of the gate... lol
Finally some damn compression! That's a good motor! Should run like 7.40 7.30s in a dragster!
It would run low 7s in a door car. More like mid 6s in a dragster
outstanding!!!
I find dynamic philosophy moving towards the reconstruction of a very important mechanical consciousness.. So did the kinetic engineering steps for the engines go through all the dimensions of sustainable horsepower? With this pure creativity of embracing clean metallic materials, it blends new forms of kinetic logic... I think, from a logical point of view, is to sit this engine in the arms of Lamborghini or Ferrari. This will be a global affair with new heights. To sum up the marathon steps above the description, I'll give you an Single word: You are crowned above the corner of global creativity.
Would like tl see more ford based videos. I mean i know there are alot of chevy fans but not nearly enough ford videos for us ford guys
Yeah well there is even less for us Mopar guys unfortunately. I understand Chevy sells the most and I like Chevy as well so it's all good to me
Would love to see a Propane fuel build .
#1000Horses like a Boss! Pat you are the man!
This yo get better and better especially with my lady friend next door that pulled on the dyno she is lovely
Man I’d love to know how to build one of these. Hahaha 😂
how many miles can you expect from an engine like the high compression BBC you guys built?
Y’all wild lol 1000hp Chevy and a Ford rebuild
Pat needs more pens 🖊!
I'll sign a petition for it
More cow bell.. And more pens!
14.1:1 AFR is OK for drag racing, but it's not a good idea for an application where the engine is under load for long periods of time. The cylinders will keep getting hotter, thus causing pre-detonation. A richer ARF will keep the cylinder temp in check at WOT.
The Nation is Waiting for Dyno of 632
How much does this engine cost to build ? Can you post a list of the parts and where to buy them ? Thanks
Someone show this to Cletus, 1000+ and all motor.
This engine makes 800hp at the wheels. Cleetus's engine makes 1000hp at the wheels(1200hp at the crank)
@@basshead. Yeah but he uses boost. Lots of boost.
How close can you get to 1000HP on any Chevy or GM power plant with pump gas? I have a friend that wants to do this for his truck.
i'd like to see more builds that you put fuel injection on instead of carbs all the time!!!!!!!
Love you guys at power nation.!?
How much was the total cost ( $ ) of the 632 BB Engine in its current 1000HP configuration?
Alright, that’s impressive! I would’ve gone with lower compression and forced induction. Maybe a big ass supercharger.
10.1 would be ideal for a bbc under boost. Or nitrous. But than again.. it's their all the time.. you can't beat power as soon as you touch the throttle.
budgets come in all sizes, so technically true....but come on LOL
Wonder what I have to do to build an engine with them.
imagine doing a valve cover gasket and you take off your valve cover and theres just no push rods in there lmao
Does anyone know if those e3’s actually work? I mean come on a spark plug is a spark plug just make sure the spark plug is point towards where the fuel comes through so it ignites better

Almost click bait. I thought "Wow 1000 HP Windsor?" Ah a 1000 HP Chevy big block...ok. Still fun to watch
Well we're down to one dude, I guess that means next month Johnny 5 will be in?
Nice! Have you guys done anything with say a 05 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3?
Oh ya. I didn't know there was such an engine as a "Chevy" 351.
Neat episode... but did you have to fire Amish Mike to pay for the 632?!
This thing would love some heavy nitrious and make even more HORSEPOWER!!!!!!!!!! That's the next video for this motor!!!!!!!!!!!
ive heard alot of horror stories about these aftermarket efi systems. 1 way too expensive 2. the ecu cooks under the hot hood 3. after spending triple the cost of a carb , you definitely need a pro tuner to get the most out of it, if not to just get it running my last carbed truck, an 81 bronco ran quite well for a couple yrs even getting like 19 mpg. then something failed and i bought a new carb and installed it myself. i got it running in an afternoon with no special tools but i did have trouble getting it tuned as good as before as , mileage went down to only 14. but still even with cdn gas prices its gonna take a 100 fillups to get close to the price of these efi systems and labor to tune them.
Cam specs to share by chance?
If you would have presented the Chev first I wouldn’t have watched the Ford ! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
1000 hp " budget" Hahahahaha. You guys should do stand up comedy. 😂
a conventional headed big block no custom parts.
Pat can lose his pocket pens 10 times before he needs to grab a new one!
No timing cover how does it handle water and mud
"Budget friendly" hahahahaha
To quote an old buddy, ain't nothing gonna live long on that much gas!!
9:31 That thing sounds seriously pissed off.
Wait a minute stroke'n it would make it yelp ?
Kick Ass background music.
Ok Pat, ship that Rodent Chevy monster to my address immediately at no charge! It needs to be housed in my muscle car. :p
A s-10 would be a nice engine bay for the BBC's new home.✌✌
Where are the Emulsion tubes on that EFI system
Small budget build lolol
Cleetus McFarland recently had a 632 cid Blueprint engine in his Camaro "TOAST".
Jerry Lifsey yeah and he needed a supercharger to get it to 1000 hp? Got 1000hp here NA. I love ole Cleeter but their engine work/choices sometimes confuse me. They should’ve done some test rips and burnouts on Toast instead of barely getting it together and shipping it off to Australia. 🤷🏻♂️
Same 632 cleeter has in toast. I know that his is a tall deck tho.
yet they seem to blow it up with a 1000 supercharged not n/a haha
@@SamFBM They do that kind of stuff on purpose for more views..
They're both tall decks
@@elonmust7470 No man, they do not. That is a $14,000 engine just in long block form. Garrett and crew worked on getting Toast ready for over a year for SummerNats. They busted their asses to get this car ready for Australia. They had an unfortunate backfire on the dyno a few months ago which the engine unfortunately never recovered from. This was finally discovered once they were in the competition at SummerNats. Garrett is all about winning and competing. His views are generated naturally via amazing content and the fact that he and his crew are great people. He would never sacrifice a build like this just for the sake of views.
@@InFiD3ViL1 I'm talking about Cletus Mcfarland........ He breaks shit for views...
I don't have any experience in doing any of this kind of work but I've watched hundreds of these builds...does that 1000 HP engine sound a little weird after initial throttle up? In almost sounds like it loses RPM. And no timing belt cover? Is that typical for this sort of build?
What part no. comp cam?
PowerNation this is the episode I have been hoping y'all would upload in the longest, this is Season 6 episode 3 right?? Very misleading title tho, had you mentioned 632ci in the title I woulda watched it the time it was showed in tv, I recorded only the last 3 minutes of it n so now am happy to see it all, I too have a 351w that I would like to make a 427 stroker or bigger if possible..
Bruh it's not a GM so they ain't gonna push anything as hard as they push GM products💁🏾♂️😔
@@1tuffzx10 are you referring to the 351w?? That engine can def handle some power..
@@P71ScrewHead Yeah but we won't see it from Power Nation, ooooops I mean GM Nation. Ford is only a after thought on this channel 🤨
@@1tuffzx10I get what you're saying, yeah it seems they favor Chevy, but I've seen them build all 3 brands tho, thing is tho Ford sales like its gifted by God n doesn't need promoting, GM has forever been struggling even tho it has some great engines, also Dodge..lol
@@P71ScrewHead I agree
It would be greatly apprecicated if he can make up his mind on wish windsor to build on a so called budget.
which trick flow cam for the 351?
With only 448hp, not one you want.
Wow that was amazing! I want one 632 cu inch 1000 hp damn your good. I think that girl might have a crush on you lol. Id take her and the willis 4wd lol
Just because a woman or a girl smiles and talks to you doesn’t mean we have a crush or she has a crush. Are you ten? Lol
Budget doesn’t mean cheap it means a certain amount of money you can spend.
Have u seen any power gains using a carburetor spacer?
no...never...not once...ever...stop.
If only engine power built Toast's engine
You put the cam in dry no break in lube?
Its a roller, it doesn't need break in lube bud.
No replacement for displacement? Old school thinking. 344 hp? Why didn’t you say what kind of cam you use?
F165 that was on the stock cam. It made 450 with the cam, likely a 280 degree comp unit or similar
@@mikehaslett3738 No that was not on the stock cam. Do you really think a stock 200 hp cam can make 344 hp without boost?
Um, 15:1 comp in a 4wd? Nope. 36deg advance? Double nope.
Nathan Porter there’s no way that race gas addictive worked
Not on that engine with those comp/ign numbers. I mean seriously, outside of a full on drag car or time attack race car, where on earth would you actually use a 15:1 comp 36deg adv engine?! It’s probably got a tear down date of 6000miles, and that’s being generous
The strength of the block is entirely irrelevant if the damn thing is pinging it’s brains out! The numbers they were suggesting are legit alcy motor specs.
Mud or Sand Drag engine?
Shit monster jam trucks are BBC at 1500 hp get like 40 hrs on a good day this thing is stupid
All those decent parts and junk comp lifters. Why not some Morels, Iskys, or BAM?
I would love this job. You get to play with Other People's Money.
632 is where it's at. I will duplicate this bullet and bracket race the shit out of it for 3 seasons before I have to tear it down. Dollars ahead.
