I am uploading the review of the black model made by VSF in China following the last green Submariner video.
It seems that we need a lot of effort on our own to spot the increasingly evolving fake Rolex.
I hope this video will be helpful to watch mania.

As I say everywhere; if I'm gonna have to look at a watch with a microscope to tell the difference between a $15000 watch and a $500 one; I am always going to buy the $500.
That is a fair point. If you see the current Chinese super-clone rep submariners, literally unless you take a good hard look with a microscope, it is hard to tell.
@@user-ji7kf9eo6z which one is that? the new VRF GMT Master? That one looks mazing and I have read on blogs that even the movement is legit. Im tempted to drop the $500+ just to find out; what I have noticed when purchasing replicas, I never loose money when I sell them....ever.
@@etebol I’ve only purchased two vsf submariners, so I am not so sure about vrf gmt master one. But as far as I can tell from my experience and the others, vsf are the finest. And yes, if its not heavily used, then definitely you could sell these reps. But in the end, you are only paying $500-600, so it looks identical and if it last 3-4 years (most likely on these top tier reps), I think it is well worth every penny.

I just ordered a set w/o a movement from Raffles Dials and an ETA 2824-2 from some dude in Dubai; if everything goes well should be a good watch for many years to come; my thinking is I really like 41mm datejust but I don't wanna fork out 10G's yet. If I do like the Rolex a lot, I'll get the original and my nephew gets my "hand me downs"....he never complains though. Peace!

So after buying around 25 genuine high end Swiss watches over the past 12 years or so, I really wish I had bought my Replica VSF Sub 126610 earlier. That way I could have left my nice watches in the box and worn the Replica. Wow, what a watch! I would NEVER attempt to pass it off as real, I like watches, love watches, but Rolex is not going to sell me what I want, so I will play their game my way.

then what would be the point of buying them in the first place if theyre just going to sit in a box and not wear them? You might as well not buy any "high end swiss watches" and just buy reps only. It will make no difference as at the end of the day, it will be a chinese manufactured piece with zero horological history that will make it onto your wrist. In either scenario (whether you supposedly buy these "high end swiss watches" or not) it'll be a chinese watch on your wrist. Save yourself the time and money and buy replicas only?

@@steelsteez6118 I think you're right.....and wrong. For me there's a huge difference between wearing a rep of a watch you own and wearing a rep of one you don't.... If you own a rolex but want to keep it in it's box in a safe, that's definitely understandable for multiple reasons. So wearing a high end rep for daily wear in that context makes sense to me because you know in your mind that you own the genuine watch. There's nothing embarrassing about that in my opinion....you're just a rolex owner that's sensible enough to wear your watch whilst also keeping it safe. However if you wear a rep of a watch you don't own, that's just a lie in my opinion. I don't understand it personally. If you claim it's real, you're lying to yourself and others. If you admit it's fake, how is that a good thing? How is that in any way attractive? Surely it'd make more sense to buy a decent, nice looking and genuine watch at the same price like Longines, Oris etc. So for me, you ARE correct and I get what you're saying, but I do think it's different if you actually own the genuine. That's the only time I'd ever wear a rep anyway. I'd feel really lame wearing one otherwise.

I have 2 Rolex clones: a 41mm DJ and a SD43 for 2 years now (wearing alternately) and happy with those. Movements are both cloned 3235. No issues except the SD43's date wheel stuck on certain dates when delivered. I brought it to a local watchsmith -he doesn't even recognized it is fake until I told him. He fixed the problem in few hours by replacing 2 parts on the date-wheel.

@@watchmakerjd8525 The deal with this VS3135 movement inside of the VSF 116610LN is this movement can also take a genuine 3135 parts including the balance bridge. You might have to broach a few holes out. But its easily can be done. So you cant always depend on the regulator arms sticking out of the balance to spot if fake or not.
And they have only gotten better since then.

@@ollystone2314 VSF isn't as common among TD's anymore but arguably the best factory thats taken over in quality is CF. VSF have the best submariners hands down though, CF is a safe bet for every other non-submariner.

Thanks for the breakdown review. Hands on one the best here one YT. Can you tell something about the water resistance of these clone time pieces? It seems the standard on perfection inside and outside becomes greater. I was wondering whether the same applies on WR. Where the homage watches claim waterresistance
-are 100-300m, those highend replicas never exceed 5 ATM
nope - if you check the seal surface, replace the seals, grease lightly, and pressure test, you can get these up to 10 bar or higher
if you doubt it then replace the crown and tube and seals with gen. the back never leaks unless its scratched or the seal fails and the crystal can be tested and inspected with a loupe

@MoneyMako I've not had a rep watch since 2010, but all the research I've done on reddit rep time, points toward 3 or 4 trusted dealers that stock all the 1:1 factories. VSF, clean, noob etc.

Based on what you said about the 12 position for date. Would you have to change the date manually everyday?
it changes over automatically but instead of 12 exactly it prob changes at like 12:20am

Imagine how many people are owning “part fake” watches, the dials, bezels, inserts, crowns, straps… people will be doing this everywhere, selling genuine watches with fake parts, they will say oh no it’s just got an “aftermarket” strap or bezel should anyone ask, which they wouldn’t hardly ever.

The inside will give it away straight away because the 2 things that stick out of the top bridge, rolex only uses 1
There are factories now doing the same bridge as Rolex with just the one (No functionality) and the other 2 hidden behind and under the auto works.
once they point out the difference in the balance wheel they are easier to spot.

It will be quite stiff moving the bracelet as you didn't flip up the reverse side of the clasp to enable a smooth slide
I have the Dandong VSF 3135 Clean movement it says as per description by the seller. It looks very good finish. almost 0 beat error and within 10s error per day. Problem is winding is quiet stiff. I dont if I got a bad piece or something is stuck in it like sand or some particle not sure. But it gives correct time from last 4 days.

they are getting close but they still cant manage to get the profile correct ( too tall , Bulky ) real is thinner and it tapers more at the bezel.. but better than 10 years ago

Is this blue balance ?
If you remove the back of the watch, it is obvious if the watch is a clone. None of the clones use the same method of regulation that Rolex does. Rolex uses balance weights which screw in and out of the balance wheel. All of the clones use a standard regulator, probably because it would take too much time to regulate the watch like Rolex does.
Real rolex parts interchange in these. They are called Frankensteins. Once the switch happens, most people can't even tell. Even some experts.

Can a Miyota 8215 movement be replaced with an eta 2836 with some mods?
Dial feet are in different positions and hand sizes are different. You would need to source a new dial for 2824/2836 or remove the feet from your old dial and use dial stickers to mount to 2836. You would need to source new hands. Stem height is different also, 2.25mm vs 2.5mm (8215). This is only 0.25mm difference so probably not a problem for the stem/crown alignment.

@@EthericZone Oh yes you would need a dial spacer. That might be included with the new movement, not sure. The Miyota dial spacer might work but may need modification since dial feet are in different location. If using dial dots, that alone may create the space you need without using the dial spacer. I'd be curious to see how it works out. I haven't done the mod myself. Unfortunately I don't know of a high beat direct replacement for 8215. I'm surprised nobody makes one.

I took a report on a robbery where one of these super clones was taken. The guy wears them as his daily watches so if he does get robbed, he's only out $550-$800 dollars.

I don't think there was a problem with the waterproofing.
There is a video online where a guy puttet a replica in water and freezed it completely. Than he put the watch in boil water 190 degrees hot and the watch kept moving nicely
Everything you say to look for is subjective. The objective give on any high end Rolex fake is, a gen is free sprung and no clone is. I am not an expert of any watch brand, but a momentary glance at the balance bridge on a Rolex is a sure yes or no and you don't even mention that?

this is a pretty easy fake to spot just by looking at the rehout which is not aligned. On the right side of the face the X should be aligned with the 5 min markers, on the left the the R should be aligned with the 5 min markers, this one is way off. also there isnt a laser etched crown on the crystal - once you take the back off you can spot a fake a mile away by looking at the balance, its easy to copy the gears, its almost impossible to replicate the balance.
What would you recommend?

Buddy I’m on a 130k yearly salary and at anytime make sure to have over 50-70k in my account for anything life related I have had my name on the list at Rolex for a year So screw them im just gonna keep buying 1:1 reps coz they love my business
