Was scrolling through TikTok when I saw one of your posts and I remembered this entire project from years back and was like “oh snap it’s finally out, wow!” Stopped my entire morning to watch the full thing and I am just so happy for you that you’ve finally finished this mega project. It’s so fascinating to see the last 10 years from your perspective and I cannot imagine how hard the editing process was figuring out which portions of your life were worthy to show while having to relive everything. Thank you for your commitment to this project! Thank you for sharing your life story. I was moved emotionally throughout the entire thing and it was such an experience living in your world for the last 2hrs. Most people don’t understand the struggle of being dedicated to a project that you’re leading and undertaking so from one creator to another I just want to acknowledge all of the details the people do not understand lol From organizing footage, to mic not being turned on, to combing through hours of footage, to the loathing of editing and feeling overwhelmed, to having a camera on 24/7, to recutting voiceover moments, and to the final moments of finally sharing your beloved project with the people who starred in it!! DDDDUUUUUDDDDDDEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! I'm so glad you got to watch it!!!!!! it was a WILD journey and it was definitely a crazy journey figuring out what was showing story and just showing off. It was also wild when it came down to the final obstacle which was "is it important to the story or just important to me?" Wow... yea man... it was a wild struggle overcoming obstacles that were in the way as well as overcoming myself when I was in the way. I learned so much from this experience and the most important thing I learned was patience and perseverance. definitely the biggest undertaking i've ever had but i'm so excited to take on the next challenge!!! You really summed up the process perfectly... so many mistakes and stupid decisions from filming it all the way to the entire post production process. I can't say it enough... I was humbled beyond words and learned so much through this process... I can't wait to continue to share the lessons with the world. Vulnerable, honest, full of the energetic hopes of youth, and packed with an utter disregard for the increasingly common philosophy that life is meaningless. Excellent. I have never been moved by a piece of media that I can remember in all of my 33 years of life as I have by this movie. It brought about in myself the realization of relationships that I have that I have not given any time to that now basically are non-existent. I basically have no relationship with my parents and to see the way you loved. Your mom affected me deeply. Just made me realize that I've wasted most of my life instead of focusing on the things I wanted and going after them, which I commend you for doing and proving that consistent work following goals accomplishes big things. It has brought to the surface many of the things in my life that were mistakes or that got lost in the shuffle that have ultimately coalesced into me living a Head down move forward day today. Distracted life just to make it to the other end. But I really hope I can move forward this inspiration of gained from this film to do and create things that will leave a legacy similar to what this will do for you and your life. Thank you for dedicating the time that you did to finish this.
Brother, I gotta be honest with you. I have had a REALLY long day and was about to take a quick power nap until I saw these words. I immediately knew that I couldn't respond on my phone so I quickly ran to my desk and grabbed my laptop, turned on some movie scores, and now i'm here. let me just begin by saying, i'm so grateful for you. i'm grateful that God created you. I'm grateful that our paths crossed like they have and I hope that they cross in person in the future. YOU... are such a gift. you pointed out a lot of things in my life that you saw in the film that I gotta say are 100% true BUT they came with MANY DAYS OF MANY MISTAKES, WRONG CHOICES, AND FLAT OUT FAILURES. My momma, when we did something stupid that we regretted or something bad happened to us, she'd always say, "Feel it. Learn from it. Move on." Brother... its NOT TOO LATE!!!! feel all of this. RIGHT NOW!!!! DON'T NUMB ANY OF IT!!!!!! FEEEEEEEEEEEEL IT!!!!!!!! and then LEARN WHATEVER LESSON THERE IS TO LEARN FROM THIS!!!! Whether God intended for you to learn something from the beginning or He's just working with what we give Him and making the best out of it. LEARN FROM IT!!!!! and then MOVE FORWARD!!!!! DON'T BE A VICTIM!!!! Move forward in spite of your past. THAT IS THE HERO'S JOURNEY!!!!! There are 4 archetypes in every great story. The Victim. The Villain. The Hero. The Guide. We all start out as victims at some point. Life happens and we feel stuck. The Victim looks at their surroundings and says, "i'm stuck and I will remain stuck because I can't do anything about it and I can't get out of here." And if they stay like that long enough... usually they start getting lonely... and they decide to start taking it out on others and bringing others down with them... and then they become a villain. The Villain takes their surroundings and because they are hurt by the past, they decide to hurt the future too. Villains are just Victims that take it out on everyone else. BUT... IF YOU'RE A VICTIM... like we all are at some point in our lives... and you get fed up... and you say, "hey... i'm not staying in this mess. I don't care what I have to do, but i'm getting out of here, and i'm taking anyone I can with me." You start becoming a hero. The Hero doesn't sit there in their mess for long, they get up and no matter how messy and ragged they are, they get to work. They solve one problem and then the next and then the next and then the next. If they solve enough problems then they know they get to go home. They get to go home changed for the better. If you're a hero long enough, you get to be a guide. The Guide was once a hero in their own story but now they get to aid future hero's with advice in the right direction. You have a choice every day to be one of these 4 archetypes. Brother, be The Hero. Its the better life and will leave this world better than it was before you came. Thats the point of all of this. YOU ARE NOT HOPELESS. You're in the middle of a story you're going to be telling people one day. MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!!!! Grateful for you man and again, I hope we get to cross paths one day!!! incredible. an entirely new format of storytelling was born today. this is the most immersive and emotionally powerful way to tell stories and i think this will change how we tell stories going forward. the vulnerability of living side by side with someone in real time of their life moments in unheard of. and i think it only proliferates as we get things like ray bans glasses and meta quest 3 and more AR since we can literally record, edit, playback memories. huge congrats to you. i’m glad i was one of the first 6,000 ppl to see this and i have already been sharing it with as many people as possible.

a beautiful 1 hour and 44 min of my life spent. I saw this on tiktok and you even replied back to my comment on one of your post. I myself is a wanna be filmmaker and I can almost see myself in this film. from start to finish I felt your emotion as if I was you and the lens was your eyes. life is beautiful and you perfectly showed how life is like. I dont know you but I can say im proud of you and im proud of the hardwork you put into this movie. 10 years worth of footage is a mad mans work to edit. but i give you props. I gotta tell you lady... moving is scary. In the hero's journey there is a story element called "Crossing the Threshold" and that is when the hero of the story takes the first steps into the unknown. Every time I move, I feel like i'm crossing the threshold into the unknown. Over the years I've found fun ways to cross that threshold without as much stress BUT I just want you to know that I feel that with you. I understand what that is like... from my eyes... hahaha. All of that to say... YOU. CAN. DO. IT. What helps me the most is definitely putting God first in all of it BUT ALSO it helps me to imagine that my life is one big story that God is telling and that gets me excited to see what the next plot point is... especially when i'm filming :) HOPE!!!!! I forget where I heard to check this out on the internet, maybe some podcast, but wow this was epic, great editing, it felt so real knowing nothing was choreographed. Every last moment told parts to your personal story that any human can find solace to, your college life story is so unique and beautiful, some parts made me cry, but you said it perfectly, every moment was worth capturing!

I cried a few times while watching this! I remember seeing him walk around with his camera and thinking that this project is so cool. Now that I’ve gone through some crazy life events, all I can think or say is that this was brave. Having your raw life put on display like this is insane! I wish that I could go back to certain moments in my life and rewatch it. Everything about this time capsule is special.

This documentary really resonated with me. The past year has been a whirlwind to say the least, but it’s easy to forget what could be going on in other peoples lives. Seeing your story over so many years helped me remember that.
