  • I listened to this while reading a book about a man who stumbles upon a large pit in sand dunes. He stays the night there, but then discovers that he can never leave. The sand is always threatening to drown the people at the bottom of the pit, so they must constantly work to shovel it out, or else it will bury them. There are no cruel captors, only a mysterious woman who is mostly silent, and completely passive. The novel has a sense of ominous futility, but is also beautiful. The narrator frequently compares the sand to water. I can't believe I picked such fitting background music. Love this channel!

  • I am a French author. I am currently writing my new sci-fi novel about Ancient Astronauts and most of the scenes of the second part of the book happen underwater since the characters are scuba diving to try to find a specific proof of the existence of Ancient visitors. The only other channel who does this kind of stuff is Cryo-Chamber and they usually focus on darker atmospheres (I don't mind dark sounding tracks, but just too much of it puts me in a funky mood). This and you're past two Ambient Music Mixes have literally been the perfect amount of mystery, dark and adventure that fit the kind of stories I write.

    • @SonofEyeaboveall Effoff could that possibly be because Titanic should have never been travelling by the North Atlantic 🤔 where there were ice caps 🤔 or maybe no ship should have ever been built 🤔 hmm apparently, the Captain of the Titanic was told by the crew members that there was ice but didn't listen and then decided that it was a fantastic idea to turn at a very late time! Only problem is that the Titanic weighed in at 47,454.834 metric tonnes or 52,310 tons and clearly strong as fuck, but compared to the ice cap that the ship collided against?? Haha that Titanic was so weak and fragile compared to the iceberg! It weighed around 75,000,000 tonnes when it destroyed the ship mighty beast, The Titanic itself, just goes to show how powerful nature can really foking be! My bodyweight is 1,000,000,000,000 tonnes, so basically, any man made object, travelling at whatever speed 1 mph or 10,000 mph, it doesn't matter, you're funked beyond if you even physically touch my body lololololololololololol

  • I always imagine this when I listen to this ambience: You’re a scuba diver, looking for the undiscovered marine life in the big blue ocean. The sun light's rays beat down on the sand. It looks like the sand is patched into different patterns because of the sun's light. As you go deeper into the ocean, it gets darker. Whales hum in the distance. Families of fish swim by you with no problems or fear. You feel the ocean's currents and waves fight against you. At one point, you don't know where you are going. Then, a voice calls you softly in your head. It's voice was so silky and hypnotizing. It seemed safe. You follow the voice. It leads you to an abandoned sea brick building. Some of the bricks have fallen off or apart, while some of the building is either clean and fresh or covered in algae and moss. The voice is louder, and it calls for you to come inside the wrecked building. You listen in your desperation to make it back to your boat. And then, flabbergasted, you find a girl in deep sleep and chained up. She has gills on both sides of her neck. She has scales all over her body that frequently glow into a turquoise-blue. She is the voice in your head. “Wake me up,” she says. Her scales glow into a matched pattern as she asks you for help. You swim cautiously towards her. Her gills flare every once in a while, as if she is being jump scared. She flinches as you shake her shoulder gently, then her hazel-brown eyes open wide. She looks at you. Her brunette hair flows with the ocean in a beautiful manner. She seems so majestic, as though she rules the ocean. Then she says, with her scales glowing into another neat pattern, “Thank you for waking me up from my nightmare. My name is Natalie.” You stare at this unusual girl for a minute, and then ask who she is. “Why, you don't know, like the rest of humanity,” she sighs in your head. “I am the princess of the ocean. Princess Natalie.”

  • It reminds me of Soma. When you got to leave the eerie corridors of the underwater facilities and entered the vast depths of the Atlantic. You could look up through the thick darkness and realise that, above the surface, any life known to mankind ceased to exist. It was both a terrifying and beautiful feeling. I recommend the game itself, by the way.

  • There once was a Captain, he commanded a mighty Ship so large and so powerful that he claimed, truly nothing could sink it. Not the most horrific of Storms could best its titanic Armor. Not the strongest Leviathan could best its apocalyptic Cannons. Indeed, so great was its strength that not even the the eternal Ice could withstand the force of its otherworldly Engines ... Some would claim that it was pure arrogance deluding the Captain to think so boldly of his proud craft and yet, it was all true. Still though, the Sea should in the end see the Ship sink along with its proud Captain. For then there came War, and an even mightier Ship brought it down ... Only the Sea will always win in the end.

  • What can I say except this is such a beautiful and inspiring sound!! I'm a story writer and I'm writing a story that is set into the Future, particularly 450+ years into the future of the world. And near the beginning end of the story, the main character comes face to face with the main antagonist on a battle ship directed towards Antarctica. He ends up getting severely wounded, meaning he gets his spine broken apart, his lower right leg ripped off along with his entire left leg, and his eyes gouged out by the antagonist. He is then thrown into the arctic waters of the ocean and slowly descends to the bottom, and this is all he hears. Sorry if it was a bit much to read, but I thought why not share my ideas with others!!

  • One of the most relaxing ambience i've come across on here. More soothing than hearing rain tap on glass or random sci-fi noises of flying cars, that's for sure.
