I was at the porter vs ugas fight. Watching it live it seemed ugas won 7-5. This fight with spence is 50/50 his trainer studies well and Ugas is really disciplined. Watching him live you can tell hes a big 147 pounder just like errol. Best luck to both. Both warriors

I was in Dallas when I first turned pro and scouting for a trainer. I trained with Juan Diaz and his trainer. Juan was nice and humble. His trainer not so much, typical. And as Dallas for a city...nahh didn't enjoy it a bit. Its like a small hole town. Was happy I got out of there.
If Broner would of took a page from Eroll. This would of been him. Get away from distractions and live and train like you still want more. Gl to these fighters

Gotta pull for that guy edit but damn Showtime did on both sides,as Americans often ppl don't truly appreciate the difference. We just don't have the practical understanding to be able to. Even the most understanding and perceptive of us don't have the experience to comprehend the emotions and that type of struggle that the Cuban population endures
Respect to Spence and Ugas, gonna be a great fight. I love how Spence is battling back and has something prove, and I also love how Ugas has always stayed Hungry. I don’t like how a lot of people are writing off Ugas before the fights even started. He’s clearly talented. Really tight defense, strong jab, good footwork, power. Great boxing pedigree. Spence has his work cut out for him. I think Spence is going to win, but I don’t think it will Be easy. And if Ugas DOES win, I won’t be the least bit surprised.

We have 2 of the top 3 welterweights in world colliding, this is like two asteroids colliding in space, and we're in for some fireworks. I got Spence in a decision victory because of his relentless pressure and overall skill, but don't be surprised if Ugas takes this fight. He's definitely one of the most underrated fighters in the world and he definitely has the tools to beat Spence. I can't wait to see this superstar fight! I have the utmost respect for both of these fighters! I'm taking Spence 7-5 unanimous, but I wouldn't be surprised in an upset. Great match-up!

After re-watching Spence's fights with Kell and Ugas 's fight with Brandon I think Ugas's camp trained the left uppercut after his pull counter that he always does because Spence's high guard defence welcomes the uppercut. I won't be surprise if Ugas's team watch Mayweather vs Cotto bout were Floyd was hitting Cotto with several uppercuts to the head and body specially after baiting Cotto to the ropes. I still see this fight playing out like the Lamont fight with a mix of Danny's fight with Spence, Spence by TKOs in the 7th or 8th round. Whoever wins history is made... Well done Showtime!
Spence rarely gets hit with uppercuts. I think that's the punch he watches for the most because it can be so dangerous. Spence only pull counters when his opponent is jabbing with him. He usually likes to be the first to let off. Im interested to see how he avoids that looping right hand Ugas throws against southpaws and kept catching Manny with. I do agree with the TKO or even a KO for Spence.
Spence hasn’t fought in the style he fought Kell Brook in in years.

I don’t think using the Kell Brook fight is a good measuring stick considering Spence had been off for 9 months without a tune up before fighting Kell Brook, Spence purposely held out and waited for Brook so naturally he would be rusty and he was in a hostile environment outside of his own country, also if you watched Spence last fight with Danny Garcia he improved alot on defense, he times shots a lot better now, In boxing your going to get hit but the fact that Spence has gotten hit by some big shots and has never fell or buckled it says a lot about his chin.
