  • Luna was a young Orca that got separated from her pod. She was very curious about humans and hung around their boats. The humans would feed her and pet her, which they were told by fish & wildlife authorities not to do. It got to a point where the the authorities threatened to arrest people. They still fed her and played with her. If they had left her alone, she would have left to find her pod. Authorities began arresting people. Sadly, Luna was struck by a fishing boat and died from her wounds. People need to understand that fish, sea mammals, and wildlife, no matter how friendly they are, need to be left alone. They need to be with their own kind and live their own natural lives. Luna didn't get the chance to do that.

    • That is so sad wow I can't believe that people still fed her after the police said not to and they did it anyway and then Luna died so sad

    • That breaks my heart and pisses me off. People always think they know better than the experts. Luna trusted people and boats and even though it was accidental, it could’ve been avoided altogether if people hadn’t wanted to humanise an Orca.

    • If I’m remembering correctly she would NOT leave the cove and became very depressed when the people stopped interacting with her. She never became attached to any pods that came around. It’s sad she died from a fishing boat strike. She did prefer staying in the cove despite the danger.

  • We are always so amazed and enthralled by these creatures, yet we are allowing their natural habitat be rapidly destroyed by our pollution and greed. If humanity does not wake up and start sharing this planet, rather than ruining it, these videos will be all that is left of these incredible animals.

  • This must be the most captivated I’ve been watching a video, shout out to the creator of this spectacular video! Terrific filming throughout and the sea life can be so intense certainly, for the most vulnerable always having to watch your back at all times in that beautiful secret world! Again what a fantastic film from start to finish! I couldn’t take my eyes off of the film, afraid that I might miss another interesting creature or something that has been there all along but not for our eyes! Vivid photography and the up close detail everywhere your eyes take you, undisturbed by man and a wonder to behold! Thank you to all involved in making this film I believe that it could not have possibly been more perfect and entertaining! Rancho Diego Ken

  • The clip of the whale in Antarctica, is not a humpback whale. It is actually either a Fin Whale or an Antarctic Minke Whale. Humpback whales have the longest pectoral fins. Easy way to tell the difference. Still this is an amazing clip of an endangered species.

  • When I lived in Florida, the weather would change quickly..one minute it’s 100, hot..a minute later cold rain, high winds..then a few minutes again..bk to being sunny & hot. When this happens dolphins come close to shore during the rain. When we were swimming we got out while it was raining, then got right bk in when it stopped. I didn’t know dolphins come close to shore, I spooked a small group & as they went bk out a fin got my arm. I still have the scar. This was about 35 years ago.

  • Some of my favorite ocean videos are those from the Nautilus. And not just due to the stunning sea life they capture- but because you also get to hear the reactions from all of the researchers aboard who absolutely abandon their stations momentarily to watch how cool the present creature is. If I'd known jobs like that were attainable when i was in high school, id have gotten either an entirely different college education or just started volunteering on missions into ocean research, or even as part of a documentary crew.

  • I know its exciting to interact with creatures we don't normally come across, but when it comes to either large predators (sharks, eels, etc.) or just large animals (whales, elephant seals, sharks, etc.) I would think a bit more caution and space would be a smart move. Those folks got way too close to those whales and if the creature had breached and landed on their boat, I'm pretty sure someone would have been crushed.

  • This is one of your best videos yet. Truly amazing and beautiful. I know I’m late seeing it, I’m so glad I did. If you are a fellow Aussie, calling yourself a wombat is usually a good sign you are, then you know better with that picture you had on advertising the video. Some call it clickbait, I call it Porky pies. Your video was phenomenal, so you didn’t need that. Some of those creatures that live very deep were fascinating and brought their own night lights with them. I love Beluga whales but being an Aussie I’ve never seen one. I was sad to read in the comments that Luna was killed by a boat accidentally. Keep up the brilliant videos. I think you’ve already surpassed 1 Million views so Congratulations mate 👏👏 🇦🇺

These squid are well-known for attacking humans & dragging them into the depths & just disappearing many Mexican fishermen, whose boats are found in the morning, empty & they suspect a squid got caught & while trying to get it loose, it & others pulled the fisherman in, never to be seen again (not even body parts washing up on shore).

    @cdnerin@cdnerin8 ай бұрын
    • Yeah that "flashing" they do is signaling to the other squid as the coordinate their attack. I kept yelling to get out of there but of course, it's a video of the past and presumably everyone made it out ok. But you could hear the crack as that one tried to bite the guy's face mask with that hard beak on the center of its tentacles. Wtf.

The bit about the pack of white tip reef sharks hunting at night I have filmed, except there were many packs at the same time. I was in the Cocos Islands when it was filmed for an Imax movie.

    • Thank you! There’s some amazing footage in this video. The experiences you’ve had filming the underwater world would’ve been incredible. Sharks fascinate and scare me at the same time. A black tip reef shark, maybe 7-8 ft chased me at the Outer reef of the Great Barrier Reef. Luckily I was close to the stairs of the boat while it was coming up from the bottom underneath the boat. I can’t stop watching though. 😂 🦈
