    • It basically is now, at least in some of the us states. Orcas are not allowed to be caught in the wild and they are not allowed to be bred. The orcas that are in captivity now can’t be released sadly because they’ve grown up in captivity. So the orcas that are in sea world now are going to be the last, at least in the us.

    • They could possibly just place seating on the beaches and get the Animals to entertain for free. The US Navy showed that 2 me on a 4 year enlistment. The most amazing show of this kind was the cliffs at Guantanamo Bay. No complaints at all about Bermuda or Rosie Rhodes, Puerto Rico

  • An important thing to keep in mind is that healthy animals rarely approach humans. The reason it’s happening with increasing frequency is that humans have moved ever closer to the animals’ habitats and continue to do so. Animals need space, there need to be more protected lands.

  • I told told by an expert about finding birds like bald eagles exhausted like the ones we saw. He said that they get like that bc they are starving bc they can't eat bc they have too much lead in their stomaches. Apparently, they end up with the lead from previous meals along the way of smaller birds that have buckshot or something like that, on or in them from being shot at. He said finding exhausted and starving eagles is much more common then you think and that they almost never end up living despite round the clock care with feedings and hydration. He explained to so much better than I just did.

  • You know those bears that have been in people's houses have probably been destroyed by now. It's not funny at all, it's quite sad. You can even see the tag on the bear in the kitchen's ear, which means it's been caught before. That's a death sentence. I feel sorry for the bears and angry at the humans who won't learn NOT to interact with them.

You couldn't pay me to live in brown bear country & before I'd live in black bear country, I'd have electrified fencing, trained dogs and I already know the difference between the dangerous bears, the bears that are less so and the strategies and tools for dealing with both. That being said, however, belief and energy are very effective and frequently underestimated by folks who aren't "animal people."

  • 8:50. It is ILLEGAL to feed federally protected animals, including baby raptors! They've got two parents, so even if one disappeared, the eyasses (baby birds of prey) have still got the other one. And feeding them something as nutritionally imbalanced as raw chicken can, within just a few days, cause metabolic bone disease, which would cripple them for life. If you think a wild bird is orphaned, call your State Game and Fish, or U.S. Fish and Wildlife Office of Migratory Birds. You should also contsct the IWRC and NWRA, the two professional organizations that have lists of federally permitted wildlife rehabilitators, and they will put you into contact with local rehabilitators. Don't give wildlife food or water unless instructed to do so. It can do more harm than good! This isn't a hobby. Rehabilitators have the skill,and experience to know what to do, and give you help!

  • They say do not feed the wildlife or they will most likely attack.Well i disagree with that belief.I say screw that idea and throw the bear,cougar or maybe the the raccoon(the masked bandit) your goodies or whatever food you have.Then leave at the same time and keep moving away and now you have a better opportunity to survive.
