My favorite Salvatore song of all time, specifically because of the tonal shift at 3:42. The moment, is even beautiful on it's own without the previous context. Every single Ganacci track keeps getting more and more impressive with what it's willing to convey.
One small step for Salvatore, one giant leap for Ganacci.

@@SeanONilbudhi hater what u mean Bosnians are not brave?
This guy's ability to put story lines in his music videos is amazing.
As a Bosnian, I will try to reveal a couple of things that Salvatore showed in this video: 1) the opening scene shows an old house which is typical for the Bosnian countryside, where Salvatore (real name Emir Kobilic) or his parents are probably from 2) Volkswagen Golf Mark II (especially white) was the most popular car in the country for a very long time. It is almost stereotypical! 3) the mountains in the background are very common, as Bosnia has a lot of mountains 4) The older lady watching TV inside the house is actually watching at a music video of a famous Yugoslavian singer Lepa Brena. Salvatore was born in Yugoslavia, so he (and his parents) could be Yugo-Nostalgic (common term representing people that are craving for the good old days when Balkan countries were together as one) 5) The name on the green card is Vedad Misimovic. This could be a combination of a name and surname of two famous Bosnian football/soccer players: Vedad Ibisevic and Zvjezdan Misimovic (true legends in the country's national team). Football is, among music, Salvatore's biggest love. 6) As many people already mentioned in the comments, the main sample is from a popular Bosnian band - Dubioza Kolektiv. They mostly sing about social, political and economic problems of the country, including the migration of young people. 7) In the end of the video, even when he fixes the TV, the old lady again gives him ''the look'', which could be another funny stereotype where no matter what you do, you will be blamed :D If somebody recognised other things as well, add a comment! Such a fun video that made my day :D
i'm hungarian (so diet slavic/balkan) and these things are almost all very relatable to us too :D
Very interesting
I realized that he is a Slav from the clip 'Interest in Sports' on a large onion grid.
There's gotta be some symbolism for using a clip of Rachel Dolezal on the tv. Maybe because he thought he was "fixing" the soviet tv by importing modern american degeneracy thinking the lady would be impressed, but no

Absolutely glorious. I hope that one day, when Salvatore returns to his people, he will once again remember his smile.
He literally went to another state, graduated from a school, got married, had children, got into an important job, stole blueprints of an important building, made the whole city have a blackout for an unknown amount of time just to get the right cable for his mother's TV. The determination of this man is too great for us to comprehend Edit: as someone pointed out he didn't have kids, he just stole them from the neighbors wich makes it even funnier Edit 2:people also pointed out that it's the wrong cable because it did not play the right show that mother was watching
that's not his children, he married girl with several kids
...Another "state"?
That look on his mother's face is the same one I get whenever I fix someone's equipment, no matter how much work I put into it.
gotta do what will do

Because Salvatore Ganacci is a Bosnian Begria
Yeeea but still, Democracy is good - when your country isn‘t corrupted. Switzerland for example and Germany work pretty well? Well rip, might also just understand it wrong
He achieved the American dream just to make his mother's life more comfortable, he's a great son

There's gotta be some symbolism for using a clip of Rachel Dolezal on the tv. Maybe because he thought he was "fixing" the soviet tv by importing modern american degeneracy thinking mum would be impressed, but no
@@nocomment4848 This seems more spot on because as an American I don't see how anyone in 21st century falls for the trap of buying into any aspect of our toxic culture. It's not like the 80's anymore when America was cool and it seemed like we were going to space and the future was bright. Now our country not only tears itself down with outrage culture and identity politics and other various assortments of bullshit, but we encourage everyone else to tear themselves down with it too. There's nothing left of our country to romanticize anymore
@@luisdawnfinder3188 Yeah you guys basically got j00'd hard. America was still being subverted in the 80s, but in the 90s the tribe-you're-not-allowed-to-name started ramping it up, creating affirmative action and victim culture. By the 2010s, the same tribe that also cancelled Kanye had a coherent religion of white guilt and LGBT propaganda in schools etc.

My interpretation, all ex-Yugoslav thought (some geographical regions still do) that life is greener on the other side. We can find the reason to our unhappiness or the discontent of our loved ones by moving into Westernized territories where life is practical, where solutions are available as long as you dedicate yourself. Who are we trying to please? Why? Is it worth the struggle? Bitter parents will stay bitter, they need to heal from within. Children have nothing to do with it! Live your life for your kids and significant other!

For anyone wondering, the phrase "I'm from Bosnia, take me to America" originates from song "USA" by Dubioza Kolektiv, Bosnian rock/pop/alternative music group. Their lyrics are often sarcastic and critical about politics and general social issues.
