Very useful video. I've managed to replace the mechanism myself, only it took me six hours. Actually, the mechanism itself took no more than 30 minutes including test, rest of the time i've spent trying to remove and replace trim without damaging it. Also, whoever invented (must be some accountant, not engineer) the way how the bottom screw on the windshield rails are fixed to the doors shall be damned. They've made it complicated to... save 2 screws. Actually, the top screws are fixed very firmly, while the bottom are fixed at the end, when You have to put the screws through the trim, doors and into the rail. It makes it unstable and very hard to do. Maybe it's easy in the factory, when all parts are new and doors are placed on the mounting table, but in the field.... Also, fixing the electric motor to the trim instead to the doors is also "awesome" idea. Another "Oscar", as for the way the light bulbs are replaced in this car. What however is perfect in the door is the fixing of the speaker. Cover on 4 pins, 2 screws, one plug - but how many times You are replacing speakers actually ? @UseTool EN - by the way, do You have video how to remove / replace LED break light on Megane 2 Grandtour (Combi) ? This is the next i have to do, beacuse it is not lit anymore. Probably water came in and it's rusty now.
