The greatest tragedy of the dinosaurs? The fact that we actually know very few of them. Fossilization is a very complex process, where so many factors have to line up near perfectly in order for the specimen to survive to the modern day. All the dinosaurs we know about - from Coelophysis to T-Rex - are simply the lucky few species whose remains survived to the modern day. For each species we successfully identify, there are at least ten others who will forever go undiscovered, simply because their remains were never fossilized.

People think the saddest thing is that all these fantastic species died out, but not everybody stops to think about all the magnificent creatures that did exist once upon a time but left no trace of their existence behind.

Their reign may be over but these guys are still with us from sea, on the ground, and especially the skies. These creatures endured their downfall and make up for it by living amongst us, benefiting our development and survival in some ways… From the chicken we eat to the Eagles and hawks symbolizing resilience and strength… The dinosaurs live on… with a great legacy to share and for us to enjoy… a window to a by gone world forever lost in time.

Prehistoric Planet will forever remain as having the best portrayals of Dinosaurs and other Prehistoric Animals that lived alongside them & the fact since they were all just Regular Animals that had daily lives like the ones from today, it makes me feel sorry for them when they were wiped out by the Asteroid.
Never have I not wanted a song to end . . . anything to let this world that time forgot live just a few seconds longer . . .

Yeah, it doesn't quite fit the whole 'Planet Earth' format. Either you make it as a dramatic story, like WWD did, or you have talking heads next to fossils. If Prehistoric Planet did however decide to showcase this, then a sort of 'special' episode would be more fitting in my opinion. It will be interesting to see what type of format the upcoming series 'Surviving Earth' will have, as it will focus on these sort of events.

From very small to crazy big; dinosaurs were awesome, Earth was SO MUCH BETTER (and I think it is STILL BETTER !) compare to Pandora in the movie Avatar. You dont need to look for another planet to be amazed - we have THE BEST PLANET IN THE UNIVERSE. But the INNER TRUTH of the ENTIRE WORK in WARFARE with SATAN is that its EFFECTS CAN BE OBTAINED THROUGH THE GIFTING of man, and being an offering for man's sin, forgiving man's sins, CONQUERING man, making him PERFECT to people. In fact, the war with Satan is not the preparation to fight against Satan, but the SALVATION of the person, the work in the life of the person, and the change in the disposition of the person so that he PRESENTS TESTIMONY to GOD. This is how Satan was DEFEATED. Satan will be DEFEATED THROUGH CHANGING THE CORRUPT DISPOSITION OF MAN. ☀️ When SATAN has been DEFEATED, that is, when MAN is COMPLETELY SAFE, THEN THE SHAMEFUL SATAN WILL ALWAYS BE BOUND, and in this WAY, MAN will be COMPLETELY SAVED. 🙏 And so, the SPIRIT of MAN'S SALVATION is the WAR with SATAN, and the WAR with SATAN is primarily REFLECTED in MAN'S SALVATION. The STAGE in the LAST DAYS, where man will be CONQUERED, is the LAST STAGE in the WAR against SATAN, and this is also the WORK for the COMPLETE SALVATION of MAN from SATAN'S DOMINION. The INNER MEANING of the CONQUEST of MAN is the RETURN of Satan's symbol, the MAN whom Satan RUINED, to CREATE following his CONQUEST, THROUGH which he will forsake Satan and EVER RETURN to GOD. ☀️🙏 IN THIS WAY, MAN WILL ALWAYS BE SAVED. And so, the work of CONQUEST is the LAST WORK in the WAR AGAINST SATAN, and the LAST PHASE in GOD'S GOVERNMENT for the SAKE of DEFEATING SATAN. ☀️ WITHOUT THIS WORK, THE COMPLETE SALVATION OF MAN IN THE LAST WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE, THE COMPLETE DEFEAT OF SATAN WOULD ALSO BE IMPOSSIBLE, AND HUMANITY WOULD NEVER ENTER THE WONDERFUL DESTINY, OR ESCAPE SATAN'S INFLUENCE. 🙏 Because of this, the work of SAVING MAN cannot be finished until the war with Satan is finished, because the summary of the work in God's management is for the sake of human salvation. The very first mankind was in the hands of God, but because of Satan's TEMPTATION and CORRUPTION, man was BOUND by SATAN and FELL into the HANDS of EVIL. ☀️ So Satan became something to be DEFEATED in the WORK of GOD'S GOVERNMENT. Because MAN IS POSSESSED BY SATAN, and because man is the PRODUCT of ALL GOD'S GOVERNMENT, then he must be TAKEN OUT OF SATAN'S HANDS, this is to say that man must be RECOVERED AFTER SATAN'S CAPTIVITY. You know it’s fascinates me how much complex the dinosaur era is compare to our current era. I felt sadness that such existence are gone forever but never forgotten. For all we know about the Cretaceous fossils, probably we discover about 20%. Which means they’re most of been unknown that whether buried under the earth or never fossilized in the first place.
Funnily enough, there are many mysterious dinosaurs that we are currently trying to discover them based on glimpses on evidence that aren't conclusive by themselves, such as footprints and eggs, aswell as dispersion, some of them are: The missing giant Hadrosaurs, Therizinosaur and the giant Oviraptorosaur of HellCreek, North-American Spinosaurids, the Mongolian Titan, the giant Abelisaur, etc!
