    • There are many and I mean many pieces Science is missing about Dinosaurs. T-Rex swimming shouldn't have taken this long honestly, like of course they can swim. Just because it have little arms, doesn't mean a thing. We know so little about this animal despite discovering a lot of it from its fossils.

      @fruitybluieblue098@fruitybluieblue0984 ай бұрын
    • ... But, if that animal had the intelligence etc to care for it's young like this episode theorizes, would it swim such a stretch of ocean of which it is aware that the most dangerous sea predator hunts in those waters ? I think not. This sort of intensive Parental care is a huge investment. You would not want to waste your young - or risk an injury yourself, disabling your own hunt, in such dangerous waters.

I'm growing tired of T. rex depicted making roars since not only is it an overdone trope, but it is scientifically inaccurate. Instead here it makes a hissing bellow instead of a roar which makes sense considering that crocodilians make these noises, and both T. rex and crocodiles are archosaurs. overall it's a very good part of an already S tier T. rex design

  • This is without a doubt the best depiction of my favorite dinosaur. Absolutely gorgeous. Out of all depictions this is my favorite. The Jurassic Park/World Rex as much as I love it, I prefer this take. Did take some getting used to the covered teeth, but looking closer and getting a better understanding, it makes sense. Now I know anything we say about dinosaur behavior is mostly speculation but I really love the idea of T-Rex when hunting is more of an ambush hunter rather than full on pursuing predator. Because obviously T-Rex wasn't a super fast animal but it definitely did have speed for short durations. Also I believe that when mating they were monogamous considering the fact that many theropods have that connection to present day birds. In fact many species of birds of prey are monogamous. It would beneficial if T-Rex to have mated for life for both a stronger chance for successful and raising their young.

You are right about it not being the fault of the media, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't try. Media that doesn't try is awful, that's how you get movies like Blue Beetle and Jurassic World: Dominion. • Prehistoric Planet is amazing for giving us more realistic depictions of dinosaurs prehistoric reptiles, but I still have nitpicks with some of the animation. I wish the animators paid closer attention to the behavior of birds and reptiles especially with regards to eye movement and reactive gestures to their environment. Some of the animations still feel a little bit glamorized, like those anthropomorphic animals you'd see in a Disney movie. Not a knock against the animators since they've already done great work here, but I hope they keep at it so we'll get even more immersive and convincing depictions of these animals in the future.

    • Walking with Dinosaurs came out in the late 90s, so the CGI is phenomenal for its time. The CGI here is amazing and almost fully realistic, though it's still missing something where it's not quite fooling the eye. Almost there, but not quite. Still, CGI animals are the hardest visual effects to get right, so I'm definitely not going to fault them.

  • The graphics for this considering it's just a TV show, are amazing. Jurassic Park is my favorite film of all time and so many people have been saying for years if they ever remake it they want to see it as a more true to the novel version but I disagree. What I would love to see is a miniseries. The first book can be like 6 hour long episodes and the second book can be another 6. It will give much more time to flesh out the characters and with the popularity of shows streaming these days and not having to worry about censorship for tv, they could really do something amazing. The biggest issue would be the cost of CGI and practical effects. I don't see it happening anytime in the near future but another 10 or 15 years, and I could definitely see it being a possibility. CGI is getting better and better and less expensive the more we improve. I am fully confident that someday we will see a more novel based version of Jurassic Park with a lot more horror and Gore and I really hope that the miniseries is the way they go with it. Giving each novel 6-8 hours is the way to do it.

  • I sailed it before on the original version last year, I'll say it again on the Extended Edition version. 0:00-0:08 I see it, but I don’t believe it. A T.Rex AKA Tyrannosaurus Rex is swimming. It’s like the deleted scene slash storyboard sequence “River Raft” that was originally planned for the Film Jurassic Park. 3:51 Listen to the bone crushing sound from the powerful jaws of T.Rex. 8:03 That sound that the Female made sounds like one of her kind from the Jurassic Park Films. 8:07 As for the sound in the background from the Male, it sounds a little like the sound Giganto made in Gigantosaurus. Not to mention the sound in “The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie’s Revenge” with the 3 gates that were mysteriously locked in dark entities of some sort just before Jack Skelington said this. “What happened while I was gone?” 10:32 There’s 2 more of them. 12:13 & They’re hunting for some Edmontosaurus. 13:05 The Rex is chasing down its Duckbilled Prey which running on its powerful hind limbs. Exactly like one of it’s kind did in Walking With Dinosaurs, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, Dino Autopsy & Waking The T.Rex: The Story of SUE. 13:20 Ohh! What a bite strike by the neck. 13:32 Especially at the throat. 13:46 They prepare to feed on the Edmontosaurus. 14:18 There’s another Rex. 14:31-14:37 This one is eating an Alamosaurus that just died of old age. 15:08, 15:42, 15:55 & 16:14 There’s that Jurassic Park T.Rex Roar Again.
