This scene was like big, middle, and little brothers all having a chat like after Dad died or something. I loved it. The "You are Amazing" bit choked me up. My daughter hasn't seen the others (yet), but I turned to her and explained, "Tobey = just 'Spider-Man' in his titles, but Andrew was 'The Amazing Spider-Man'," and she lost it a little too.

This movie shows Andrew can totally play a good Peter/Spider-Man when the movie has the right writers. He needed this redemption. My favorite part was his "I'm not crawling on the ceiling" part 🤣🤣

The "I fought a Russian guy in a Rhinoceros machine." line gets me every time. That was such a cool scene and I wish they could have done more with it. He truly is the Amazing Spiderman!
Now I've gotta rewatch the original scene just to see how it managed to play out without those seamless flashbacks that you incorporated and added extra flavour to it with.

@@Albino_Basilisk It is most likely true and out of respect for them Harry is justified because he sacrificed himself to save him and of Eddie Brock because in reality it was not his intention to kill him, only Venom(it was just an accident and I probably didn't mention it so that the two of them would see it as a bad spiderman or spiteful)
No Way Home did what the Star Wars sequel trilogy couldn’t do, bring old and new fans together. No Way Home started with all fans watching the new, showing how he is THE Spider Man for the new generation, then show villains from the past that can show the new fans what the older fans grew up with. And then reveal the other 2 Spider Men, all working together, United.
And probably also made new fans too

This whole movie is basically over two hours of fan service and nostalgia, but it all holds together so well that you just don’t care. It doesn’t feel forced nor does it ever feel like it’s being too reliant on said fan service and nostalgia.

Even though they put Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Man in here it still felt like Tom’s movie and his story at the end of NWH was beautiful/bittersweet and so far my favorite ending in a Spider-Man movie and with everything else you just said this movie to me is like a 8.5 or a 9/10

Unfortunately, that short clip is all you actually see of Rhino in the movie. It cuts to the end credits right there as Peter's swinging the manhole cover. He's a perfectly good villain that's completely wasted.

I rewatched the original Spiderman 1 and (though I still had a great time) I thought for a minute I was watching a PS2 cutscene during the first Goblin fight where they bounce all over the floats! The few shots I have seen of the Amazing duology's CGI always looked clean and fluid, even despite Electro's.. um... 'design'.

This is definitely one of the greatest Marvel films of all time and deserves all of the money and praise it got. Only special moments in films can make me shed a tear but, when Tobey came back, tears.

This movie was a union of the generations. We’ve had our problems, the older generation called us weaker like the ones before them called them but the one thing they can all be happy with is this, great movie

Andrew's movie ending with the Rhino, missiles, and the manhole cover is the greatest scene of any Spider-Man movie and will always make me cry because we never saw the whole thing, full stop.

Personally Andrew is my favorite Spider-Man, but just because I think he was a great actor. He has a weird charm to him that I really like. I grew up on Tobey though so he'll always have that place in my heart.

I like all three of them for different reasons. Tobey nailed being Spider-Man but his Peter Parker was kinda ehh, Andrew killed as Peter Parker and his Spider-Man wasn't terrible, just not quite as good as Tobey's, and Tom's youthful innocence is just a joy to see on screen, even if it doesn't quite match either Peter or Spider-Man perfectly.
Exactly, we both grew up with Tobey who introduced us to the character Spider-Man at such a young age but really ppl our age develop during our teenage years; which around the time Andrew came into the picture.
Just saying, they waited until Thanos was dead to bring in Maguire. Bully would have disposed of the grape just by being there.

The reason why Peter 3 did never fought villains from space due to the fact that the Villains from his universe where made from Oscorp like. Rhino's Suit is made from Oscorp & Lizard's Powers is made from Oscorp's DNA. But don't worry. Leto's Morbius, Hardy's Venom, & Taylor Johnson's Kraven will fight Andrew's Peter in the next movie.
With those three, along with Rhino, Harry's Goblin and mcu Vulture, we got the sinister six.

@@Tymere_GT_Anims If I remember correctly, the No Way Home end credits scene showed venom getting kicked back out of Tom's universe, which would make sense because the last spell was supposed to get rid of all of the visitors. Although, it also showed a small piece of venom being left behind, and I don't know how that works or what that's going to mean for later movies.

Interestingly enough, I found the fan service in this movie much more palatable than in endgame, despite the fact that I've never even seen the Raimi movies and only seen TASM 1
Oh my new friend, you really should watch the Raimi trilogy at the very least - they're still very good movies (just try to ignore the early 2000s CGI as it ... was good for the time, let's just say). TASM2 is kind of "take it or leave it", as it wasn't that great but I'd suggest watching it anyway just for the context of Electro's motivations.
This shows how beautiful the CGI of TASM movies compared even to the newer movies. I wish these movies had a better plot and direction, they could have been masterpieces.

I'm glad Andrew got to come back as Spider-Man (at least) one more time. You can tell how much it really means to him to put the suit on again, and he got to complete his Peter Parker's character arc by rescuing MJ from her fall -- a symbolic second chance to save Gwen -- and being reminded by the other Spider-Men that he isn't a failure; that even though he only got two movies, he really is an _Amazing Spider-Man._

Technically, Thor killed Thanos 1 by aiming for the head. And Thanos 2 never "died", he just got erased from existence. Hence why the "dead people" like Natasha didn't come back to life after the snap. Also, Spiderman(Tom), never got close to killing Thanos in any way at all. But I see what you're trying to get at.

That’s the issue is people didn’t think it was possible to have multiple Spider-Men some still wanted tobey back, some wanted Spider-Man in the McU and tasm could do that cause disagreements I agree tasm should have been supported but the movies needed work as they weren’t the best either but Andrew deserves a good franchise
