    • The problem for Ruzzia is not military. Its economy. Any tinpot dictator in some desert shithole can get a couple thousand tanks together and look scary. If you neglect building up your economy and society, you can keep the military stuff going for a very long time. Thats the way these things go. Everything is fine until its not, and then the Berlin wall is being torn apart by the bare hands of teenagers.

Even That is about to change now in a few weeks. The only reason Russia took avdiivka was because UA ran out of stuff to kill Russians with and had to retreat or the Russians still would be trying to take this fortified settlement today. And in their hubriss the Russians think they can take a huge city like Odessa or Kharkiv now that new shells for UA are on their way. This is beyond delusional this is insane.

Speaking at the meeting with top Russian commanders on Monday, the minister announced that Moscow had liberated the villages of Pervomayskoe and Novomikhailovka, west and southwest of the Russian city of Donetsk, as well as the settlement of Bogdanovka not far from Artyomovsk, known in Ukraine as Bakhmut. The latter strategic city was captured by Russia last year after months of bitter fighting. He added that the control zone was also being expanded in Berdychi and Georgievka, north and west of Donetsk. ”Our high combat potential allows us to constantly strike the enemy and prevent him from holding the defense line,” Shoigu noted, estimating Kiev’s losses at half-a-million troops since the start of the conflict. - RT

  • Big problems for Ukraine it seems with soldiers moral. Soon the rains may begin when Bradleys and fighting vehikles are of no use for Ukrain. Building fortifikations may also be difficult to build in mud, rain and with russian bombardments. The difficulties begin to get so complex they are not to master. Everyone in the West is pulling on a different rope with puting soldiers in. A nightmare is beginning, better an end with horror than horror witout end but Ukranian people still may have the choice what is best for them.

  • The West continues to make fatal mistakes one after another as if they lost the ability to learn. Europe blindly followed order to crawl onto Russia's door step and caused an unnecessary war. Then they went along with their master's sanctions that backfired badly onto themselves. And each and every European political leader kept mum about the destruction of their energy lifeline that had kept their economies humming in the past 7 decades, perhaps under intense fear of offending the master or perhaps all of them had become victims of blackmail by U.S. intelligence apparatus for their past misdeeds. They kept forking out gigantic amount of money to buy sky-high energy from across the Atlantic in the form of frozen gas -- so much so that nearly all their industries had to move out of Europe and went somewhere else in order to survive, hollowing out their own economies in the process. When Europe followed the U.S. in rejecting Russia as part of the European community, China extended a helping hand. After the imposition of atomic-like sanctions on Russia, the U.S. and its cohorts have been left high and dry when China took over the Russia market worth billions of dollars of cars, trucks, smartphones, computers and peripherals, washers, dryers, fridges, air-conditioners, ovens, cooktops, television sets, sound system, toasters, juicers and everything else in-between, including high tech chips and precision CNC machining equipment, not to mention basic consumer goods like shoes and clothing and Christmas trees and decorations. Now, the West cries foul and "warns" China against closer cooperation with the Russian Federation. How pathetic is that? All the people on the Earth should wish Antony Blinken a successful mission to China, one more time.

    • " Europe blindly followed order to crawl onto Russia's door step and caused an unnecessary war." Putin had quite a bit to do with the start of this stupid war in both 2014 and 2022 and its continuance into 2024.....In fact his actions have been the "motor" for the conflict. Ukraine and the West have been mainly in reactive mode compared to Putin.
