  • As gangster/hard as Nate seriously is, I was lucky enough to randomly run into him at a grocery store. Dude, he was the nicest guy any fan could run into. Asking me questions and being grateful for us, his fan base. I couldn't be more of a fan after that interaction. Best of luck to both fighters.

  • Nate Diaz is a legend. Dude fought the toughest dudes in the UFC his whole career. Most guys just want easy fights to build their record and then take 1 or 2 elite level fights and then fade away. He is misunderstood and judged by lots of people for the way he talks and acts but bottom line, he is one of the best fighters to ever compete in the UFC and has always stayed the same since day one. Respect to him. Great interview.

  • My uncle grew up in Stockton with Nate and his brother nick. From the stories he told me about them, this dude was an absolute savage from an early age. I had a chance to meet him a few times and this guy is as real as it gets. Fame will never make him forget his roots, that’s rare and should be applauded.💯🤜🥊

    • People mistake his anxiety for being punch drunk. He has a hard time speaking when he isn’t comfortable (can’t catch his breath to speak so starts coughing, pausing, etc.) but when he’s comfortable, he talks just like he always has

  • One of my favorite fight interviews was Nate and Connor being interviewed by that lady on CNBC. She was gushing over Connor and asking all these crazy disrespectful questions to Nate, and Nate just stood up and walked out. You could see the shock on Connor's face like 'damn I should've left first'. Then, Nate went on to win. Such a great moment in fighting build up.
