  • This is a fantastic series well made & put together. Like many others I love the intro music its evocative and sets up the narrative so well. The back ground information especially from the YEP also helps set the scene. A great trip down memory lane for which many thanks. 👍

  • I appreciate that these documentaries have been out for a little while now but they really are superb. I was a season ticket holder throughout most of this depressing period in Uniteds history, and the films capture the mood so accurately. At least we were in the top flight at the time...sadly things would only get worse.

  • these videos are brilliant, i was 10 in 1980, a port vale fan, but i must have had a memory like a sponge because i remember all the Leeds players and most of the controversies that went on at the club from those days, amazing when you consider how little football was on tv compared to now

  • Well done again. We went from players like Bremner and Giles who rarely lost the ball to lads like Hird and Hamson who rarely kept it. 1980? Eight years before Wilko came to the rescue. The good thing is there is more of this come. Keep it up.

  • Yes, I totally agree. Great videos, and much previously unseen footage (by me at least!), documenting the rise, fall, and no doubt rise again of Leeds United. I remember when Peter Barnes played for Leeds, out of the team, and Fourth Division Halifax Town offered to take him on loan - as long as Leeds paid his wages! No deal.

    • @@Lufcfilms oh, I thought it was a production company with the backing of the club. I'm really enjoying them, they are some of the best football films I have seen, absolute top quality. I am a massive fan of Leeds under Revie, that is how to build a club/team; player development etc. I was 17 when you got promoted in 1990. Leeds were popular with other fans in those days, they were a breath of fresh air in division one avd no one wanted Man Utd to win the league in 92 except for Man Utd.
