He was a great WR, but it was so short lived and the whole "non-catch" really just brings back a lot of bad memories and brings up the "What could have been" question. A 29 year old coming off two okay seasons in 2016 and 2017; in 2016 he played 14 games(13 regular season, 1 playoff game) where he had 59 catches, 928 yards, and 10 touchdowns. Then in 2017 in 16 games he had 69 catches, 838 yards, and 6 touchdowns. So not huge numbers but still productive and yet no one jumped on him once released. • @@brucebruce7065 I understand you have only watched the new generation of football so must not understand what it means to be a football player it’s not about stats it’s about the ability to motivate a team, help your teammates improve and not be selfish. You have to remember these are two different styles of play between for example todays bengals and the 2010’s cowboys. For example, the cowboys did not throw the ball 40 times a game. Does that make jamar chase who receives more targets and already has a connection to joe burrow from college better than dez after one year? No. Is he really good? Sure of course. But dez had no previous chemistry with romo and thus the two cannot be compared. two completely different starts to their career. Dallas will be and have always been a rush first offense and that must be taken into account, don’t make assumptions about how good you think a player is when you have never actually been in a locker room of that caliber or have known what it really means to give it all for your team. I wish you luck in your future endeavors and hope that you are more mindful in the future to understanding the process behind success and not making assumptions without having the knowledge to back them up. Have a great day.

  • Watching these highlights reminded me just how much Dez was a beast and how he dominated a game because Romo knew who he had to get the ball to. Can't say that for Dak. He has Ceedee Lamb pretty much open on every play inside the 20 and wont throw him the dam ball. Im really starting to suspect Dak is being controlled 🤔

  • Dez is probably the most underrated, undervalued & understood WR in NFL history. But he was a great Receiver, Returner and teammate. His hands were HUGE. The emotional side of his game was reminiscent of Michael Irvin. They both were emotionally positive forces for the team’s success. I wish we had either of them on the team now! Dez should get into coaching. I just have the feeling he’ll be great teaching kids, with his passion for football. I also think Jerry should put Dez in the ROH. He gave everything he had to the Cowboys. That should be the prerequisite for entry. #DC4L

  • Dez was like the cowboys version of Anquan Bolden. Not speed really just everything else. But still

  • Listening to Dez's story of Mr. Jones coming to him with the offer of 88... eerily reminiscent of the tale of CeeDee Lamb acquiring the sacred digits... It's a high honor in CowboyNation.
