Depot Bay is where scenes from the movie, "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest," with Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher were shot. Most of the rest of the movie was filmed in Salem Oregon I believe.
Beautiful video!
Oregon rocks
At low tide you can go in the punchbowl
I love traveling to these areas and have made a few videos but! You guys rocked this!
Best travel channel on KZhead!
Awww thanks Jana! Super appreciate the kind words!
Another awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chip e Angelica!
Geez man, you create such great scenic informative video’s like were you a former TV producer in your past life or something? 🍻
Aww thanks man!
But alas, I was just a lowly Hollywood editor and voiceover dork... kzhead.info
Breathtaking, can’t wait to visit!
You should!
Oregon should pay you for this advertisement. I have to go there now !!
Haha thanks Tom and Missy!
I always try to find floats. No luck so far, other than the thousands in the gift shops. Great video, as always. Hobbit Beach is definitely on my list.
You've gotta really want it to find one! 7 miles is a big stretch! Also, Hey Lisa! Thanks!
Thank you for taking us along on your road trip! I love going exploring with you!
Thanks for coming with Gayle!
I should have watched this before I spent two days in the area. I saw a lot, but would have found more with your info. Well, maybe I need to make it day three in the area.
Worth a trip back!
Wow...this was a really good video! Not that your others aren't good, just that this one was really good and informative. Thanks for sharing your adventures! What are your winter plans?
Thanks Mike! San Diego in November and contemplating options like Route 66 and a Mexico trip. Literally figuring that out today! How's the RV biz bro?
@@LyfeUntethered Biz was great but I have temporarily shut it down. House is for sale and when it sells, we are hitting the road.
@@SaltyVetAdventures @Salty Vet Adventures Heck ya man! Gonna blow up on the KZheads?
@@LyfeUntethered Ha! I gotta learn from you. You still doing anything on your other channel? Trevor Jones?
Dang. I hope you're being subsidized by the State of Oregon Tourism board!
Ojala
yes, 'yaw-hotz'
They were messing with us and we bought it! 😂
@@LyfeUntethered that was cute! glad you enjoyed, the oregon coast is beautiful! headed there next week, just 50 miles from home
@@tamsteak awesome! Us too, near Coos Bay.
I found a floating aluminum bottle with Japanese writing on it. To this day opening that bottle was the single most abundant source of regret in my life.
Why?
Michigan has the most lighthouses
Pronounced Si ooslaw.00:51
Thanks!!
Is it safe for people with children?L in terms of crime ?
"More lighthouses than any other state in the country" is such an unnessessarily false statement. I get trying to make your video exciting, but come on man. Michigan holds that distinction with well over 100.
100!! Had no clue! Thanks for the correction.
Bear Creek Artichokes!!!
