Chainsaw carving a bear ,How I make $500 per hr as a chainsaw carver
I didn’t start carving for the money, but I definitely appreciate how much I can earn. I’ve been blessed to be able to support three kids, a wife and a growing business. Thanks to the blessing God gave me over the last 15 years I never thought I would be where I’m at today, although the title of the video sounds cocky it’s not meant too be, as I want to encourage people to pursue the arts as a way to support themselves and their families, with how difficult it is to earn what is a living wage these days and how expensive everything I hope others will pick up carving as a side hustle or full time gig. People need all the help they can get these days

If you are going to make videos and try encourage others please do it truthfully! At least keep it real. No one likes an exaggerator. The bear you are carving has a 6" base. I do believe it was 1.5 hours to block that out. However, the finished bear at the end of video has a base over a foot and a different stance. If you want to grow your following, don't treat people as stupid and give them the straight goods.
Awesome carving! Get some glasses and chaps so you can keep at it friend!
Dang, that's great work! Maybe it's because it's sped up but the nonchalant way you push the nose right through is impressive, like you have a magic chain or something. Those cuts still make me nervous and much of the time I find a long way around but I'm inspired, tomorrow I'm going to spend some time getting comfortable with plunging...
working on trying to make one these myself! amazing work man! I try to follow your cuts a bit and its difficult cuz your so fast! its amazing watching you just immediately go on to the next cut with no hesitation. real talent and skill
Thanks so much, don’t be afraid to slow them down and just be willing to make mistakes it the best way to learn and you can sell your practice pieces, keep on practicing!
Just subscribed.. great work..
impressive chainsaw control! and confidence in cuts!

Nice
Cool ❤😂
Cool sound track 😵
What size sthil chainsaw and bar?
❤
Since you brought up money, how much does a 3 ft tall bear sell for? I'm talking about a nice looking bear like you made. And, are you considering the time and money spent obtaining the logs and the painting?
I’m counting pretty much from when I start my saw till I put the oil on a charge about 750 for a nice 3 foot bear
@@allnaturaledgedesigns Thanks for your reply.
You have to Invision it before you even start cutting
He got the gift
Ya really couldn't change the fucking music bro?? 🤣🤣
Just bought a chainsaw recently. Figured I'd try making some cash out of it and saw this. My brother told me about treating wood, but that's a whole other can of worms. How do you keep the carving from decomposing?
Cedar is rot resistant.Still needs Urethane or whatever
if yer makin 500 per hour now imagine how much you would make if youd sharpen you saws😅😅
Who got the time, I gotta make videos lol
I don't care who you are that's funny right there.
What is your overall time in that bear?
1.5hrs start to finish
i bet 100 bucks u can do it blindfolded!
That Stupid Music kills your video. I had to mute it just to watch it.
Just scrolled down to see the comments, and was glad I read yours....soon as I read it, I was like, 'yeah' and did the same thing.
Would have rather listened to the chainsaw noise than that crappy music...
Ain't that the truth, gotta have some relief.
