As the legends of our sports are slowly fading away, new ones are arriving onto the scene and they remind us of our heroes. In today's video, we take a look at some current UFC superstar who are slowly passing the torch onto the next generations of fighters.
Featuring: Jorge Masvidal, Conor McGregor, Tony Ferguson, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Adrian Yanez, Ian Garry, Charles Oliveira & Islam Makhachev.
Tony ferguson passing the torch to oliveira was one of the saddest things I've ever seen, but the silver lining is charles is so exciting his last 2 fights have been crazy can't wait for him vs gaethje that's gonna be a very violent fight Update: charles oliveira did fight justin gaethje and what an incredible fight best 3mins of violence you'll see charles is truly something special
Amen brother, I'll always be a El Cucuy fan but it was sad
definitely not sad, its beautiful
You mean him vs Conor
@@nlowe219 dana said it's gaethje next but if conor wins his next fight he could get the title shot before the winner of beneil vs Islam
@@getaforeheadreduction6017 god I hope Charles fights Justin then Conor Not Justin then Islam
Dont forget Anderson silva passing the torch to izzy not only that they look similar in style and appearance
Except Anderson silva is better than Izzy
@@sherifnabil9663 not really
@@harrissourapas6840 yes really
@@jsamueljnino6114 no not really prime adesanya beats prime silva in a close fight
@@ouvouvwevwavweenjat3566 prime Silva stomps Izzy lol wym bro
This is the most underrated mma channel I have seen by far😤
I swear it is tho
Just wait, the blow up is incoming
Straight fax
Martial Liam and mixed molly whoppery are also both on that level if not better
Watch 'Lokation' by Hizzer Edits if you havent seen it yet. It Chronicles Mcgregors rise and feud with Khabib.
5:57 I just realised how quickly I got used to Khabib being a retired businessman and trainer who will never fight again. Can't believe it was only just over a year he last fought. Probably because I always accepted that he was 100% serious.
He was just boring so no one gave a fuck about him
@@0777x well you know Thats just like, your opinion, man
@@willpoulter4912 man it's actually true because if you look at his PPV numbers if we remove the McGregor fight then it's like shit
@@0777x if you remove Conor from any equation numbers automatically get worse, he's the biggest PPV star we've ever seen in MMA, hell maybe even combat sports in general
@@0777x and it was conor s biggest ppv of all his ppvs you dimwit lol
Its so crazy to me how much charles is blowing up , no one in mma deserves it more
With guys like khabib and khamzat around Im really glad charles is getting his credit. Dont get me wrong, I love khabib and khamzat; but I like a lot more a story of someone who managed to improve and turn his career around, than someone who was almost flawless from day 1. Its a lot more inspiring imo.
@@eldenlean5221 the story of Khamzat is actually sad, in a deep way.
@@bhulk6219 Dude had a very rough life as Chechnya was a horrible place when he was growing up; so much death and destruction. But those hard times may very well have moulded him into the strong man and wolf he is today.
@@madgavin7568 both Khabib and Khamzat were born into warzones, crazy to think where they ended up. I remember Khabib talking on his channel about buying bread on credit and then seeing that tank on AOF dagestan chronicles. Idk, but i always loved the storylines of the russian fighters. Truly forged by hardship
During his 12 fight win streak, if you knocked down Tony, you lost the fight. Thanks for featuring my all-time favorite, El Cucuy, in this video. I'm hoping and praying he has one more run in him... just not getting my hopes up.
Tony is easily my favorite fighter ever but I can’t see him making a come back. I hope so but idk
Tony is and has always been below average the calibre of fighters he fought really showed to all the top 5 fighters he lost to including the current champ, don’t get me wrong I love tony but he was always overrated in my eyes and it really showed in the Charles, beneil & Gaethje fight, and I guarantee if he fights Chandler he’s getting smoked….
@@dobronx2122 winner of TUF and had a 12streak run in his division other than the bad luck matching with Khabib. Age eventually caught up to him in the end and I in no way think Tony is overrated. He is one of a kind fighter both in the ring and personality wise
I think its time to face reality that Tony will never make another run for the title, especially against all these up and coming grapplers. He's just too old and to make matters worse; gun-shy now, which is a far cry from the El Cucuy we all knew and loved. All he has left is toughness and cardio, everything else is gone other than his personality.
@@dobronx2122 this is the furthest thing from the reality of Tony Ferguson! 12 year run, never been knocked out, and you want to say he’s always been a below average fighter? Like what???? I’m guessing you have formed this opinion bc of his last 3 fights and he’s now 36 years old! This is absolutely absurd! I say this respectfully! From a MMA Junkie super fan to a casual I guess!
The undeniable truth. Man I'll say this, no one will be able to create Conor's impact in the mma community. I was fortunate to have been able to witness his run. 👏 Same for Tony.. hoping to see Nate and Tony go at it if possible 🤞
Never say never
CONOR IS A GAME ❤️🔥🥺💯
And if we do it’s definitely not paddy and DEFINITELY NOT this Garry guy. He’s nothing like Conor, aside from the step back KO after getting dominated .
I’m so happy to have witnessed GSP, Conor, Anderson Silva, and Aldo rise from the bottom. I’m also happy to have been able to go back and watch the early days of the UFC. And I feel so blessed to continue experiencing many new prospects currently in their prime. Lastly, we just can’t ignore Tony Ferguson’s crazy streak. Even though he’s been on a losing streak, those were pretty impressive in hindsight given that Oliveira, Benny, and Gaethje are the best in their division. Tony might not be in his prime anymore but I think he’s still super dangerous.
Nothing but a chatter machine
the whole video was pure art but those first 3 minutes were absolutely incredible. keep it up TFB! cheers from Puerto Rico
De Que Parte De La Isla Eres¿🇵🇷🏝🌅
Those first 3 minutes were so perfectly made, perfect set-up
I was honestly so shocked there wasn’t more comments about it. It was like a movie
Ferguson probably my favourite ever, shame to watch his torch get handed but it’s a new era 🔥
I wonder how much further things can possibly progress in the sport. Twenty years from now, will there still be a Khabib type that just dominates everyone? And if so, what kind of freak of nature and circumstances would that guy have to be? As far as winning 12 in a row with the majority of them being battles of attrition like how Tony did, I don't think anyone will ever be able to replicate that kind of consistency again. Oh well, every era has its own charm. It isn't fair to compare one to another too much.
What's crazy is when Connor was coming up I was major fan and Thought I was a bigger Conner fan than a Tony fan so when he Took his first 2 big losses I was just like man that's rough. But when Tony lost it was devastating internally lol After the fight I felt like I lost.. idk lol I've never really cared when my favorite fighters lose but Tony's losing streak hits different.
same here, I never care who wins as long as the fight is entertaining and both guys get out healthy but Tony's losses hit different man cause he never truly got what he deserved
Man watching prime tony and khabib would’ve been the greatest fight of all time. I wish we would’ve seen that. Hopefully El Cucuy gives us one last run I’m not giving up on him
It's like, what if Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris had a fight, who would win? We'll never know -_-
@@GlennDavey to be fair, the fight between khabib and tony was days away before it got canceled
@@GlennDavey pretty obvious who would have won loll. Don't play yourself
@@m.r.a7992 They were in a movie together and it was a joke. You played yourself.
@@GlennDavey I was talking about khabib and Tony kiddo lol

I always find passing of the torch such a cool thing the guy before you presented the way to go about things now go forth and blow it out the water.
None of the new guys even compare to the old ones.
Appreciate your style my g! 🙏🏾✊🏾🔥

This is by far my favorite MMA KZhead channel
I’ll say it now, The Fight Business >>> MMA On Point.
They’re two different things though.
@@SirBubb for sure, but if I only had 10-15 minutes to kill, I’m choosing TFB over MMA On Point.
Nah man, MMA On Point is superior, for now. TFB will take over MMA On Point soon, bht not right now.
Lol no
Yeah man, Im only two minutes in, your voice, the way you set it up, everything. Kudos to you, may this channel grow super big. Always hype for one of your videos. And thr smoking intro is 🔥

Fire ass video. Got me itching for fights this weekend again! Francis vs cyrl will be a pleasure to watch.looking forward to that one
That Intro put me on a vibe brother! Well done!
I feel like Ian Garry needs more time to grind himself and being a top draw and before that, being a top/contender. And in the Start. GSP ❤️ such a motivation Your channel is Damn amazing and i always watch your videos bro. Love from 🇮🇳
I was thinking the same he had a good debut but he was getting touched before he got the KO definitely someone to keep an eye on.
@@Jdoggdarula yeah i mean there were the moments where movements were sloppy so yeah, Ian needs to work on that. Btw he's a very good lad and he'll be successful if he does work hard..
@@abdulkadir8976 Yeah, dude was getting absolutely battered before he finished the fight
@@Jason-fk6wg couldn't agree more.
People see an Irish guy who can fight or a Russian guy who can fight and immediately compare them to Connor or Khabib. Connor was special. He flowed with his movement and with his words. His career went perfect for so long. If this is the passing of the torch for any of these guys then the UFC is already on the downward trajectory that I though it was.
Bro this is such an inspirational channel 😭 your voice makes me feel comfortable lmao
Great content as always.... Respekt to you sir .... Wishing you the best ... Guess this is gonna be your year....
That Kobe hit me hard I love your videos man keep it up your going to be huge one day!

That Kobe quote was just perfect. Damn that have me goosebumps.
The creator of the fighting business channel is so good. I love your voice and the choice of words that you use to run your commentary. You are combination of Joe Rogan and Joe Anik. Wish you the very best bro.
Glad I found this channel man subscribed!
You make me smile seeing you post
Bro crazy video the vibes i get from that video is crazy bro almost cant discribe it
I trained with Adrian in the same gym metro fight club and man it’s so bad ass seeing him finaly becoming the fighter he always wanted
wasn't his nickname lil masvidal? why did he change it?
@@its_radit I mean when it comes down to it, you’ll always want to be your own person and not want to be known for just being another version of someone else
These videos are insane, getting goosebumps watching

This might be TFB's best work, to date.
The sheer epic ness of all these videos is awesome!
Someone shared this to me. This is absolutely dope, subscribed 👊🏼
just started watching this guy's videos and I gotta say they're pretty dope
I literally cried watching tony In this video.. What a greatness
Dude your videos are some of the best in youtube regardeless of content.
I love this channel 😭🤲🏽
For me GSP is the godfather of mma with his prestige, knowledge and influence on the sport. An example for current and future fighters to get inspired
facts. i think he's responsible for bringing the most real fans to mma. i know he did for me and my friends. and when i say fans i mean actual fans that care about the sport and follow/ analyze it. obviously conor mcgregor brought the most eyes to mma but majority are casual fans. nothing wrong with being a casual just sayin.
Dude this channel gets better and better
That intro was the best I’ve ever watched literally gave me chills
No words.... speechless... simply wow.... what a video bruh....
Best MMA channel!!!

Your videos are awesome. I'll take notes
Tony Ferguson creating a younger clone of himself is the most accurate in this list. habib-slam is the 2nd. I hope we get too see Charlie Olives vs Slam Makachin soon.
