  • It’s crazy to think of Khamzat’s trajectory from in December of 2015 when Conor sparks out Aldo, he was working security in a chicken factory. An immigrant in Europe from a poor war torn country, with little choice but to be grateful to have even bottom of the food chain type of work. There’s millions of these stories out there. Mum and brother are at home needing the money he makes to survive. His brother is a good man, giving him that one year to go and chase his dream whilst he looked after home on his own. It sounds easy when someone tells the story from the top, but at that time without a penny to his name he moved to the capital, took a complete chance and went to Gustafson’s gym. This is a guy who’d only trained to the same level all Chechen’s and Dagestani’s train too, local wrestling clubs. And at 23 which is old to try and start making it to the top, he fast tracked his progress that much that by 28 he was at the top of the WW division in the UFC. Everyone dickrides Conor’s story, Khamzat’s is equally if not more impressive. What a guy, and I wish him all the success and I hope his mother and brother enjoy a good life for allowing him to chase his dreams when there was bills to pay at home. Khamzat showed the balls to take a chance, the type of balls 99% of the world population only wish they had.

    • This isn't privilege. This is pure business. Dana has NELK on payroll. They all work together to help promote UFC. They are all making money. Nelks whole audience watches the UFC. They are helping Dana as much as you might think he is helping them. They are not dumb. UFC promoters and interviewing, sports betting app, manscape brand deals, happy dad, mixing money with UFC fighters helps promotes UFC. It all lines up with Nelks brand. Smart as hell.

    • @@skimasktheuglygod5865 I agree. Nelk has become like the group young males strive to represent. They have been really training alot lately. Trying to be like the channel the young males should look up to. Fighting and the UFC blend so well with what they are trying to promote as a brand. It's a great blend. Dana is an old man but he manages to stand out with the younger generation somehow.

He’s such a likable dude. First fight was a banger, expecting nothing short of fireworks this time around. You guys are doing ya’lls thing. First you ink Suga to a deal and now The Highlight.
