By the time the next election comes around he will be on one knee on a prayer mat facing east, while wearing a bra and dress with a rainbow coloured Jews hat and holding a Hamas flag shouting Allah Akbar, there is nothing that slimy toad won't say and do to try to get his grubby nose into power. • To be honest I doubt you can make it worth. Included student line when I start earning past £50k I'll lose half my money straight away to tax. £50k really isn't much anymore. The older generation have just pulled up the ladder and made it more difficult for the newer generations. There's a reason inefficiency is so bad in UK. Doctors stop working full hours when they get past the additional high rate threshold. Taxing people so much does not make you want to work more. Also the best thing about it is none of this affects the rich who don't pay tax the same way. The whole system is about squeezing the middle.

    • Sorry...I mind, we pay an awful lot of tax now....maybe you forget the 20% VAT. All told its near half most peoples earnings now. All government Labour and Tory are crap at budgeting, this is why Thatcher wanted people to opt out of SERPS, but at least she admitted it. Now they have even stolen that. Its only this country where you have those that pay more get less and the ones who pay less get more. I paid in 49 yrs and get the same as those that paid in 35 years, then they take the SERPS based on hours worked put it in one pot to pay those that dont put extra hours in. Then young people come along and try to say they pay my pension. At least Osborne made it that your private pension pot is now your own. Labour never did anything for pensions unless you are Public Sector. I wont be voting the Heritage useless parties.

All govts have been hampered by the power of socialists dictating and resisting sensible policies for years, blame them not us! Liecons and Liebour parties only economic instruments they have used for the last 35 years is tax tax and more bloody tax, including massive waste on white elephant projects, involved in everybody else's wars, and no long term industrial strategy and devoid of a program of reinvestment to keep us near the top of cutting edge technologies. Instead all parties are wedded to mass immigration so that there is massive competition for jobs and promoting the "race to the bottom syndrome" both the Liebour and the Liecons would love to have absolute control over your lives including what you earn and how you spend it! Then there was the scandal of faulty operations which were done privately, and had to be re done on the NHS, scandal of unvetted doctors, the horrible program of PSR, and privatisation of the NHS. That's not an exhaustive list of Liebours failures, and because of those failures they should never be let anywhere the NHS again! Do I need to mention Rochdale and paedophiles within the Leibour party covering up for ethnics crimes against young girls, and to this day they never received redress, corruption, failure and nepotism is the hallmark of the Liebour party just same as the LieCon party. Countries which have higher taxes usually have better services and most level minded people dont mind paying tax if the services are good. My wife worked part time and so she gets only the minimum pension. But what started as Insurance premiums, has now become a tax and apart from the pension, unconnected to the insurance claims. I would like to know exactly when our insurance premiums were in effect stolen and treated as a tax.

    @johnwilletts3984@johnwilletts398416 күн бұрын
    • As you say, NI is an 'insurance'. (Note to the Conservatives - that's what the 'I' in 'NI' stands for). John is correct in saying these funds have been 'stolen', because the scheme is flawed. John claims to have paid 'the full amount', but we don't know exactly how much that is, but he, and millions of others were led to believe that by contributing for 35 years would entitle the payer to a full pension. The problem is that we have far too many low earners, non-earners (who have their contributions made for them) etc, that, along with the poor rates received during the 15 years when interest rates were far too low, as well as governments and health care services working to make people live as long as possible, that the invested money is being used to pay the pensions of those who are drawing it now, not those people who have contributed it. It's a slippery slope once you start doing that, and the Conservatives have continued, hoping that the situation would resolve itself. Just like Rishi says he has 'plans to stop the boats' (yet thousands of immigrants still keep arriving, without being deported), his 'plans' are really 'wish lists'. The Bank of England needs to keep interest rates above the rate of inflation, otherwise people will continue to invest in other commodities (just look at the state of the housing market), returns on the invested pension funds will continue to diminish and before we know it, all the money will be gone. Rishi is clearly only concerned about the wealth of himself and his family and is abusing his position as PM to increase his wealth accordingly, even though he has far more money than he's ever going to be able to spend....

This is exactly what Truss advocated. Is this also Truss' fault??? It's a waste of time listening to either of these two Noobs. Neither of them appear to be interested in anything apart from their own careers.
