I am so sorry. It is very painful when we lose our best friends. It isn't fair for him to go so soon. I'll be making a similar choice soon. I'll never be ready, but he will be. I want him here as long as he is not in pain. He's getting thin also but still pads along at a chipper pace. Again, I wish the best for you and Bear. I've been a subscriber for a while now and appreciate the pampering you give these babies.

I'm so sorry. I understand. I lost my Smokey last April 2023, and he suffered with a respiratory sickness. He was so uncomfortable suddenly and couldn't eat. I loved my Russian Blue gray boy! God bless your family and I'm sorry your little black fur baby is so sick. 😢😢😢😢😢

man oh man.... im so sorry. it was kinda the same with our black kitty Jasper. he was put down last year on thanksgiving. i wasnt even there to say goodbye. i dont remember what was entirely wrong but if we did have the money they said he would only have a week left. i feel terrible that i wasn't there for him. i shouldn't have left to go out of to town to see my partner, but my mom said he'd be fine.... i haven't gotten over it. i can't forgive myself. i hope it gets better for you
