It’s supposed to be unforgiving, unreasonable, and brutal because that’s the nature of the things that you’re dealing with… the results of your Ancestor’s foolishness. “You answered the letter. @@patdeen3960 Uhm... no... With right build occultist wont ever cause bleed and his single target heal average is much better than vestal and is just insane if you also run crit on him. He is amazing, but unreliable for clutch heals, you have to maintain high hp pool on your team with him and its also good to run any guard character. but yeah, he is weak until 4th lvl. Flegellant has insane regen and clutch maxhp% heals, you can't go wrong making him as a healer. Vestal... the only good thing is her team heal, otherwise her single target healing per turn is just weak. But if you use her team heal to fix deathdoors on multiple characters something gone wrong already. So she is amazing clutch healer, but not the best healer for maintaining high hp pool. Other characters have only small heals for clutches, very helpful. In short Clutch healer: Vestal Maintaining high hp pool: Occultist In between: Flegellant Ps. I forgot to mention that bleed res on flegellant is interesting because the higher the bleed res the better he is on maintaining high hp pool, but weaker with clutch heals.

I just modded the shit out of it and turned it into a slightly difficult roguelike with no permadeath where I could enjoy weird characters and the Lovecraft lore. If I want to bash my head against the wall for a video game I'll just play NES Mega Man games. RNG is bullshit.

Nah, I think I'll pass, this is a flash game made for sadists and masochists or those with too much free time to figure out the build and item combos that are actually viable

I got my ass handed to me so many times in this game. Then I finally got a good team that I could play with, just to meet this guy randomly while exploring. Everyone went insane. I uninstalled. But later ill try this game again.

Took a while for this game to click with me as well. You almost need to build specific teams for each area. I was trying to just use the classes that I enjoyed the most at first.

Just beat it and cleared all the bosses a week ago. The biggest thing is to always know when to “Be a total bitch and bail”. Abuse the retreat button. If your heroes died from a heart attack or a tough battle, its either A.They were under-leveled and had no business there at all. or B.You should have run away 2 battles ago. Don’t let it beat you. Its just a matter of knowing when to cut your loses.

Still playing this game. Had a run last night where I cleaned up the first three battles from surprise was getting super excited. Got into my first room battle and the ai got two crits on my backrow which lead to deathblow on their next turn. I shut it off
