"We'd rather be on the ground wishing we were in the air than in the air wishing we were on the ground." That's a good way to look at it.
Awesome Vid! Very cool you had a little chat with Sean D Tucker! He is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet. It was fun meeting you and hanging out with you and your dad.
+steveo1kinevo likewise my man
Couldn't agree more. Amazing production this one. Don't worry Steveo when you get sick of the 850 you too can make amazing video's without ever exceeding 160kts.
Hello Steveo1knevo c172 is different the TBM you fly!
@ 13:17, N4975F! That plane is from my club. I've flown it.
my dad was a pp and i only got to fly with him a few times after my pp, comm, cfii, multi,. etc.... cherish every minute you guys get together. we went to osh twice and loved every sunburnt, stormy day. lundy
Sean tucker is such a bro . "Yeahhhh baby"
Good times! And at about the 14 minute mark, I think you caught the L-39 I was lucky to fly in my latest video :)
FlightChops didn't expect you here, awesome!!!
That's immediately what I thought of when I saw it lol!
I think it was!
I feel so special! I got to sit in that exact L-39 in traverse city Michigan, that flightchops flew in, and Mraviation101 video’d it!
Dang, I envy you. LOL
Perfect day for this video to come out...passed my instrument checkride this morning!!! =D
Congrats!
Steveo, has the FAA said whether you can post videos yet?
AFO3310 Congratulations!!!
AFO3310 Congrats man, and here I am edging closer to my Stage 3 Private Pilot check then End of Course then check ride!!
r3poman671 nice! Good luck!
Thanks for capturing my landing in Cirrus 427KG at about the 13:00 mark! Great camera work.
Murray Wilson nice landing!
Very well done, Josh. Everything about this video makes me think I'm watching a documentary. The music, camera angles, editing, just amazing! Great job, and it was awesome to see you there!
If you were there on Thursday, you might have seen the memorial flight for my dad, who was a P-51 Heritage Flight member.
That opening quote, man. You have no idea...
We flew from Iowa to Oshkosh yesterday. My dad was unfamiliar with the airport, but he used to take me there for the air show. Now, because of your videos, I understand airports that my dad does not. The tower at KOSH did help us, but I knew the way around. Thank you 🙏 *Please, if you could respond, it would make my day*
I Thank you for your comment at the begining they bought tears to my eyes .That was the bestt intro I have seen with you and your father it showed wisdom beyond yours years.II am 67 and have flown for over 50 years an flying never gets old thanks again.
Hey Josh! Fort Smith is where the dream of flight began for me. Now I fly for the Navy. Watching the footage you took around my old stomping grounds brought back many fond memories. Thank you!
Dear MrAviation I have been inspired all my life to fly and i finaly started clocking the flying hours in northern ireland i still am to young to take the ppl but im looking foward to the test and i just want to thank you for inspiring me to keep at it.
If you are on FB make sure you follow the GA Aviation Community page. Most of the guys there are UK pilots so there is a lot to learn in their posts. Here >> facebook.com/groups/1771418436476702/
TomorrowSystems thanks
I'll be honest, I don't know what would be more dangerous. That storm, or that stop at Arby's!
holy cow. 12:16 needs to get some landing practice in.
Leo: In a tailwheel?
@@modrak probably in fsx steam edition cracked
Leo Strydom yeah right, kid. Don’t you have math homework to do?
@Leo Strydom Except you rely off of daddy's money lol
@Leo Strydom and if you are a real pilot, having a cocky attitude is dangerous af.
I started going to "Oshkosh" when it was still in Rockford Illinois. Anyone still remember the "Red Devils"? Charlie Hillard, Gene Soucy and Tom Poberezny. They became the Christian Eagles. I remember waking up to frying bacon and airplane engines. Great video.
I love these videos. Always tastefully edited and narrated. The music is always on point and never overwhelming or inappropriate,
Sweet video Josh! Very well put together. I dug the formation flight and the camera angles on that.
By far.....BY FAR.....your best editing job ever! Obviously a ton of work went into putting this together. Great B roll, cuts edited to music, and really good and well thought out shots. Loved it. Well done Josh. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks for posting it. :-).

Great documentary style of video. Nice change of pace.
Next year, I'll be making the journey from California. This weekend will be my first "real" cross country up to Idaho for that little eclipse everyone's been talking about! KLVK -> KCXP -> REO -> KBOI, then KBOI to KMYL on Saturday. Might hit KWMC on the way back instead of CXP for gas, depending on how the winds are blowing. Should be a fun ride!
Wonderful video! the best Ive seen this year! Thank you!
