The same with me. I lost weight during my divorce and I’m already naturally slim. I lost my brother then found out my husband was cheating a few months after my brother’s death. I couldn’t separate the grief because the divorce felt like death. Took a lot of therapy but Thank God I’m still here!

I always wished I had that problem. I get bigger and bigger and bigger cause I eat too much. I’m just the opposite.
Or fat, because there are people who do "stress eat". I know many stress eaters! I just wish people would just be kind to each other because you don't know what someone is going through.

I told people months ago to pray for Eva because she is a mother, and she needs to be healthy spiritually, mentally, and physically. Depression is hell. Trust me, I lost 50 lbs in 3 months from stress. People need to come to a realization that depression is a real health issue. I removed all of my problematic maternal relatives from my life, and I feel 90% better.
I just got out of a four-year relationship and I was already slender but I lost a lot Of weight (And a lot of muscle tone) After the break up. She’s right, it’s like you have the flu.. then I got depressed, stopped running And exercising which I’ve done my whole entire entire life, started eating more comfort food during the winter months and I put on more weight than I had before he left me.

Life traumas can really throw you a curve ball. My parents died two weeks apart and I lost nearly 30lbs completely void inside. People knew what happened and still commented on my weight.
I can’t imagine and I’m so sorry for your loss and hope you have found peace!! ❤️ It’s happened to me before too though. I got extremely sick due to an ongoing illness and my coworker comes up to me and says wow looks like you’re wasting away… and I was so it really hurt. People are interesting.

This is the first time I've heard someone actually come out and say how they view themselves after divorcing. Like Eva, I myself came from a family that stays married no matter what. I was the only one to divorce in my grandparents, aunts, and siblings. And being around my relatives, I do feel like the black sheep. I would have stuck it out, but my ex-husband's family is full of broken marriages and divorced couples, and he divorced me. I was thankful, nonetheless. After he got remarried, I was free to remarry, and I did. It's been 14 years now, and I've met the most amazing man.

@superwomanme There were absolutely no Biblical grounds for him divorcing me, for example, adultery. We could have remained separated. But by him getting remarried, he broke the marital vow.

Yes honey I get it. Divorced 2yrs ago and my weight fell off. I'm naturally thin but that Divorce , Depression is a whole different level. Thank you I thought I was going to die. Eva you look amazing. Thank you for sharing your story.
Essentially, you were dropping dead weight, which you all are calling depression that man was putting all that weight on you through stress. When the stress of life removes itself generally you get back down to size.

Divorce is depressing. I lost weight. Was in mourning for a long time 😢.
I went the other way. I gained 100 lbs. Plus, I got divorced during COVID.
I didn’t lose any weight, but I shopped and spent money on clothes, shoes and bags for 3 years straight! Every upstairs closet was full!

Divorce is like a Death!! I got Divorced after 19 yrs, and lost weight. I didn't feel like eating, and couldn't sleep at all, 3 wks straight. Then I gained weight, because food numbed my pain. You don't get over it, overnight. 11 yrs later, and I remember the pain, as if it were yesterday. Prayers to her and the Kids, because they were affected as well 🙏🙏🙏

I went through the same thing dealing with family issues; one day I looked in the mirror and saw nothing but skin and bones. I was able to gradually pull myself out of it with the grace of God.

I knew Eva should have won ANTM when the models had a challenge of running up many flights of stairs. After completing the last flight of stairs, the model immediately had to pose for a pic. Her pic was beautiful. From lookn at her face, no way you'd think she had ran up many flights of stairs. I knew she'd win.
After, Eva's time on the show and the way Tara mistreatment I was done. The Karma ‼️ came knocking at the door 🚪 😮it opened up a lot of evil from the shows executives‼️💯🤨

I'm glad she was honest about this. Us naturally slimmer girls with what seems to be a higher metabolism get bullied sooooo much by a population that overeats and overeats all the wrong things. We lose weight quite easily and stress takes it off for us in no time so imagine being stressed out AND having to deal with people antagonizing your for how your body naturally responds to adverse life situations....ughhh
U r so right! My niece is super model thin naturally and is 5"10 with no heels. If she had a hint of stress it shows in weight loss and people can be very cruel.

@@TTSantiago821 very cruel about it. It's just that way our bodies respond to it. I'm around 5'1 ish and very petite, slim but I'm not straight up and down lol. I eat whatever I want (except most meats- I mainly eat fish) and I prefer food food and snacks but I don't like sweets, sodas, chocolates etc so naturally my diet is a bit on the less unhealthy fats side, not by choice but it's what I prefer. I'm also Christian so I engage in fasting often- weight gain has been hard so I accept it lol however when I was really stressed out and lost loads of the little I naturally had and people kept commenting on it, it was even more stressful lol.
I am tall and thin even after three children, and I have certainly been bullied. Just the other day someone looked at me and said you are so skinny. I thought! She would probably attack me if I said you are so fat.
This , if I’m depressed, I’ll lose 15 pounds in just 2 weeks . Anything traumatic, whether it’s physical or mental, I can drop 30 pounds in a matter of two months. Which adds on more stress , I use to hate it but it’s literally how my body works , just have to make sure I get my daily protein s a vitamins .
Depression affects people in different ways. When I lost my father & dealing with a stressful & marriage, I lost my job & gained a lot of weight due to sleeping & eating for months. When my youngest daughter left home for college, I got depressed, but lost 30lbs in a month because I could barely eat due to stomach pains. When she came home, I gained it all back.

This why I personally don't say anything negative to anyone because we never know what someone is going through and not only that if you don't have anything positive to say about someone you should never comment and make them feel bad because you don't really know them like that and at the end of the day you wouldn't want someone to make you feel bad not knowing you so I'm going to always be me and always say something positive to someone and Eva I think you're beautiful and your kids

So true!!! I was a size 10 before my divorce. And going through the process was sooooo overwhelming. Before I knew it I was a size 4/6. It took so much out of me. And the last thing on my mind was did I eat today?

I definately saw the weight loss but her eyes never looked weak, so I didn't think she was ill but I figured she was very stressed out with the demands of leading a show, mothering 3 kids alone, dealing with the heartbreak of her marriage dissolving. She's a petite lady, so weight loss shows up on her in ways it doesn't for average size people. I love Eva

Eva is beautiful no matter what size. Some people gain weight from depression, but I am like Eva and lose weight. When I am depressed, I can't eat. Before I got out of my abusive marriage I lost weight from stress and even some of my family was whispering if I was on drugs. That was a total slap in the face coming from my loved ones who know I have not touched a drug in my life.
I appreciate her honesty about the weight lose....which is nobodys business but she shared transparently and i appreciate it. Keep going Eva...you are BEAUTIFUL.

Going through break-ups as an adult, where there are financial assets (and/or kids, pets) to split will always be crazily stressful & tear your body apart if you don’t have the proper support system. When stress hits us, we may eat up or down…both sides are traumatic but I hope everyone finds it to the others side!❤

@@lizamimi I think it is a personal idea of what is healthy, I saw her walking with that long maxi dress, hair braided to back, she looked cute and pretty to me, people not use to thin, she definitely didn't look like Whitney Houston. People only in the south especially, think weight and curvy is the only look, she looked like a model, which she is. She never was a curvy or big woman.
