Amanda Seales Done Protecting Issa Rae & Talks About Issa Not Empowering Women
Shannon Sharpe: I had Lil Rel and he says that Issa, most of her set is with women; camera people, etc, etc. And that she's very empowering to women.
Amanda Seales: I disagree. She wasn't empowering to me. She didn't feel like I deserved to be protected... I have still always protected her because I felt like it is my responsibility to do so, but I realize now it is not.

  • Always remember the story with Oprah Winfrey and Whoppi Goldberg. For years they didn't speak. They happened to be at the same function. Whoppi went and sought Oprah out at the event and Whoopi asked her, "Did I do something to you, did I say something that offended you?" Oprah was shocked and said to Whoppi, " No, I was told you had a problem with ME!" They are friends now and a lesson was learnt. Put rumors aside and speak to the person directly.

    • I know, she can’t read the room…and trying to invite people to hang out, totally immature. Calling someone a Revolutionary Nikka is crazy…too opinionated and set on how the world should work…wanting to hang out at a party where someone CLEARLY did not want you there and you used other people to try and weezle your way through then get mad when they chest bump you to leave…feeling hurt and rejected is a choice, that whole experience is her choice..then coming on a show to talk about it and admit she cried and people were not moved…sadly pathetic but she has chosen that experience…there is genuine love in the Universe for her but she flocks towards people that will never like her…she needs a life coach to remove her from being addicted to this victimhood mentally. All those characters she is talking about are so petty…the host of the show is clearly bored and struggling to engage in the substance of her pettiness…she needs psychotherapy and a more open mind. Shay this was an embarrassment after the heavy hitters you had…she added nothing to our lives. People don’t like her because she is lost…an ungrounded immature adult.

To me it boils down to her expecting certain things from people that were more acquaintances/coworkers than her actual friends. Unfortunately that’s where discernment comes in. • @@sharrellwyatt5850I thought it sounded like flirting too. Seems like she would do well with an older man. Wait is he an older man? She also has fresh, young energy (in a good way) so maybe that’s why I’ve drawn this conclusion lol.
