That is one super nice truck. It's going to look super nice sitting on the lot at 60+K dollars. I've had several tacomas and a celica. I'm currently in an off road 4runner. The trailhunter and the pro are in the process of becoming out of reach for middle income people like me. Forget about it. I'll keep my 4runner until Toyota comes back to its senses.

Jeff - I just cant bring myself to pay for a Tacoma the same price as a base F250 4 X 4 or even its base big brother....

Jeff, Can you explain why the tacos haven't been sold yet here in the Northeast? At least here in New Jersey I haven't seen a single 4th gen Tacoma at any dealer let alone the roads

I've been traveling a fair bit recently and in all the states I've been in (OH, MI, KY, TN, PA, VA, WV, and MD) the only 2024 Tacomas I've seen were two sitting on a dealer lot last weekend near Columbus Ohio
NY has a lot of off roads for sale near me but only sold a couple.
I suppose the snorkel isn't optional on the Trailhunter?
Toyota doesn't do "special orders" but you can try and get a dealer to trade an allocation for the specifications you want. You could be in for a long wait considering the demands for toyota.
Maybe some kid would want purple, but not me. Besides, it would be hard to sell a purple truck.
Can you put a tonneau cover on that truck?

They axed the six cylinders for the good of the environment, not their customers. I don't care how pretty you make it look and what options it has, a four-cylinder pickup is no pickup at all!!! It was hard enough for me coming down from an eight cylinder to a six. A four-cylinder is out of the question, turbocharged or not.

Toyota got too high on themselves. They price themselves out of the market. You can get a full-size truck same price or a new frontier half the price… in my 2010 Tundra had way too many common problems after 2008 Toyota garbage

Funny ugly looking truck, small tiny window in back replaced the big one? A 4-cylinder replaced the 6 cylinder? Cab looks like it's chopped in back making it very square & the interior dash looks so cheap poorly designed & the shifter looks like an oversized Lego block, horrible vehicle all over all & the odasity dealerships are charging more thousands dollars for these horrible junk trucks no thanks.. I will keep my 2017 Tacoma way better then the new junk today.
