Grunge is my favorite for sure - - And WOW just love this
Grungy and graceful. Love the pencil marks ✏️ ❤
Loving your grungy pages ❤
The stamping and pencil marks really finished it ❤
This is my first year in journals and JJJ has been a great way to learn different techniques. Thank you for putting it on😊
Beautiful!❤
Love this!
Really like this one!!❤
You even make "grungy" look good.
Love JJJ, thanks for hosting all the wonderful artists.
I also avoid grungy style . . . but I love what you did with it!
It's interesting because i've always considered your style somewhat grungy: the way you use coffee splotches, torn and crumpled paper and chaotic scribbling/mark making - it all steers a page away from being "clean" and into some worn and grungy territory
I agree
Wow I searched something about journaling and seeing this was posted only 37 mns ago makes me happy
this looks amazing, its so good ☺☺
Good grunge this is the first time I have missed JJ January but I have been ill. It felt very strange not to be doing this along with all of you. I think you had some great prompts love and hugs from New Mexico
The colors look great throughout. See, It turned out great. Easy, peazy😊
❤❤❤
Love your journal and your work
Love this page...like all of the others! Watched every video of jjj and am a bit sad that it will come to an end now😢 When you crumbled up the page I was literally shocked. I wouldn't had allowed this to myself! But it looks so good!❤
Most of the grungy junk journal spreads are ephemera edges darken with Distress Ink/Oxides. I came across technique which involves colouring in piece of clear plastic with brush marker, spritz with water and smoosh on the paper. I'm going for colourful grunge using Wintry themes of blue and white. Doesn't have to be Walnut Stain or rust. I'm not actively taking part in Junk journal January but I do work on my Junk journal regularly. Today, I managed to fill it up.
Bookshelf was the hardest prompt for me. Love grungy!!!!
I had no idea what to do for bookshelf😂😂😂
@@nicolecalhoun7670 I know. I waited till meg posted and some others to get ideas!
🙃Grungy is a bit out of my comfort zone, too. But I did enjoy this prompt... and kept my page fairly simple, and I'm not sure if it's 100% "grungy" but.... I'm happy enough with it. and it got me to use some of the things I've had in my stash for years.... so that was great. 😃👍 Your page is beautiful. 😊👍
We have been having gray foggy days so I took this as my cue. I was surprised at how much I found to use and found two great quotes on Pinterest. This turned out to be a most enjoyable prompt.
Thank you for sharing this. I struggle a lot with trying to make grungy pages. I tend to make pages with clean, crisp lines. This was so helpful. ❤😊
Love your spread…makes me feel like I can go and try grungy in my own journal! Loved the graphite tint pencil!
Been doing this in my TinyJunkyBooks. Didn’t know it had a name. Thanks for sharing!
Very nicely grungy!! Love it Meg xoxo
I love the sage green you added. I allways struggle with grungy. I love the 3 small weird little scraps you glued on the left page. What were they and how did you get them to fray like that. They were so cool. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕
OR does passion fuel purpose??!! You did great on this grungy page...one of your old spines would have worked good here too!
It's still your style, just darker shades
❤❤❤
